Chapter 1 Our little secret

POV:Anderson peters

"The DNA results are ready," Dr. Simon announced.

My heart thundered against my chest, palms sweated, muscles tensed, shivers of uncertainty,to cut the shot,my eyes were twitching my eyes seem to always sense an impending doom before it arrival.

At a snail pace, I approached Dr. Simon's outstretched hand and accepted the brown envelope.

Though I yearned for closure, fear and denial held me back. what if I am Jason's father.... Jason, Amanda's 7-year-old, potentially my son!.

Jason was born 9 months after my wedding to Vanessa. Vanessa is the absolute love of my life, she is the best woman any man could ask for,my soulmate, she would be so devastated if she hears of this....

Oh na na what's your name 🎶🎶🎶 oh na na.... 🎶 My phone pierced the silence:

"Hello, honey. Ethan and I are nearby. Want to grab lunch?" Vanessa's voice shattered my reverie.

"Hey, Vassa, trust you are good,I would have loved to but Company outdoor activity. Can't make it," I stammered.

"You didn't mention". Well my secretary and I would be meeting a client soon after lunch,I would be home by 6. Love you."she whispered

"Love you too, Vassa." I couldn't bring myself to saying more knowing I might have made the biggest mistake of my life. The call ended; reality sets in.

The brown envelope was sealed with inscription that read: "Anderson Peters." Tearing it open, my heart raced.

My eyes caught sight of the boldly written;"Probability Paternity: 99.99995%"

For a long assumed moment I stood firmly but my legs failed I collapsed into a metal chair few steps away from me,it made a loud noise, drawing startled glances,I couldn't care less, every effort I had invested into my marriage is wasted.

My 7-year marriage to Vanessa is at the verge of crumbling! I sat in stunned silence, the metal chair creaking beneath me.

The probability of paternity stared back: 99.99995%. Jason was my son! My mind reeled "How could I face Vanessa?"

"What about our 7-year marriage?"

"Would she forgive me?" Tears welled up, but I fought them back.

I needed clarity. Amanda's face flashed before me her smile, her laughter. Our secret. My phone buzzed again: Vanessa.

"Hey, honey. Just checking in."you aren't home yet I hesitated, unsure what to say. "Vassa, I...I need some time. Personal stuff."

"Everything okay?" She asked

"No...yes. Just overwhelmed.

"Love you."

"Love you too." I ended the call, feeling guilty.

The hospital's bustling atmosphere faded into background noise. My world shrunk to a single question: How did I get here?

That fateful night, at my office dinner, I'd met Amanda. Vanessa's unexpected arrival had sparked joy,she was accompanied by Amanda.

"Hey, honey!" Vanessa exclaimed.

"Vassa! What are you doing here?" You said you couldn't make it I asked, surprised. "Don't say! You really can't wait to be my wife huh?" I chuckled.

Vanessa's radiant smile captivated me.

"We can't," she teased.

The thought of it makes me want to boogie she swings happily.

Amanda interrupted, "Hello?"

"Oh,Amanda meet peter, peter meet Amanda my client turned friend,we were out together and thought to stop by,"she has been so amazing.

Turns to Amanda."Girl, where have you been all my life?"

Amanda laughter filled the air,oh come on you are the most amazing she said.

I smiled, feeling drawn to Amanda's warmth. "Nice to meet you, Amanda," I said, shaking her hand.

Amanda's eyes locked onto mine, a hint of mutual interest. "The pleasure is all mine," she replied.

Vanessa's voice broke the spell. Let's grab some drink,we approached a table, settled and ordered a few bottle of champagne.

The evening was a beautiful one.

Vassa, you can't drink that much I exclaimed as I watch her gulp down a full glass of champagne.

"I can drink that much",just for tonight she screamed filling up another glass.

"How would you get home after this"I asked attempting to discourage her?

She snarled,"Amanda is here she would get me home Right?Amanda,"she said facing her

"I would do that much",Amanda said sipping from her glass,"except that I can't hold my alcohol,"they all bursted out laughing except that Vanessa's laughter was due to alcohol intoxication.

"So Peter what do you love about Vanessa?"

Amanda stared a conversation.

"He loves my body!,"Vanessa screamed.

Amanda and Peter busted out laughing again knowing that Vanessa was getting intoxicated by the drink.

Amanda's gaze lingered on me before turning to Vanessa.

"I'm sure that's not all" vanessa.

Vanessa's laughter echoed, her inhibitions fading.

"Peter loves it from behind!" she slurred.

Vanessa winked. "He loves my body!"he loves that I ride him so good.

I blushed, uncomfortable. "Amanda, maybe we should get her home?" I suggested.

Vanessa protested. "No, I'm fine!"

Amanda intervened. "Let's get you home, Vanessa."

As we stood, Vanessa swayed. "Whoa, easy!" Amanda grasped her arm. I supported Vanessa's other side.

"Thanks, Amanda," I said. "No problem," Amanda replied.

Our hands touched, a fleeting connection.

Vanessa's gaze drifted between us. "You t-w-o...take care of me"

Unbeknownst to me, that moment sealed my fate.

We got Vanessa into my car,the ride back home was rather awkward as Vanessa kept murmuring about how I love her body, how i fuck her so good, she just could not stop talking.

We arrived at Vanessa's at exactly 10:00pm we alighted and assisted her into the bed room, she would'nt stop talking I tried to pacify her until she dozed off,Amanda at this time was in the kitchen.

I walked up to her gulping down a huge bottled water.

"You sure needed that" I chuckled. "Wasted?" I asked amist smiles.

Amanda's eyes sparkled with amusement.

"Definitely wasted," she chuckled.

" Not as much as the lady in there",I pointed toward Vanessa's room.

Our laughter filled the kitchen. As we calmed, an awkward silence fell.

"Thanks for tonight," I said.

"No problem," Amanda replied. Our gazes met, a fleeting connection.

"Vanessa's lucky," Amanda whispered.

"Lucky?" I asked.

"To have you," Amanda's voice softened.

My heart skipped a beat.

" I'm not sure how appropriate it is for me to say this, considering my relationship with vanessa but you're captivating,All you've done this evening is take my breath away"Amanda whispered with a gaze attempting to take off my dross.

My heart skipped a beat. "Peter, you're stunning, your kindness,intelligence....she continued, walking toward me Our faces inches apart,my cheeks flushed, eyes sparkling.

"Vanessa's lucky," she whispered again.

"Lucky?" I repeated, heart racing.

"To have you," Amanda's voice trembled.

Our lips almost touching. Amanda suddenly took my lips into hers,i found myself kissing her passionately. Soft and supple, her lips were nothing like I had expected, and as the kiss deepened, that was all I wanted to do...stand there...kissing her....It seemed like the most natural thing in the world.

Except that it wasn't.

Time froze as our lips danced. The world outside melted away. Amanda's fingers traced my jaw, sending shivers.

"More," she whispered.

Our bodies glued, lost in the moment. Suddenly, reality crashed back: Vanessa. My wife. My vows! Guilt pierced my heart.

"Amanda, we can't," I protested.

"Why not?" she asked, eyes searching.

"Vanessa," I confessed.

As if I wasn't just talking to her,Amanda ran her hands down my groin and felt my bulge,"you want this".she whispered into my ear tickling me.

swiftly she bent down took my member into her mouth,There was no going back,I moaned in pleasure as she swayed her tongue professionally round my dick,it felt like heaven.

The pace at which she does this was swift,I struggled so hard to catch my breath,it was so good Lost in the moment,I lift her up onto the kitchen cabinet raised her yellow pleated gown slid out her panties then i deeped my finger into her Pussy stroking her,she let out a short lived scream as she moaned in pleasure Grabing my hair like her life depended on it .

I kissed her passionately, caressing her boobs as she let out a soft moan I pulled her closer as I inserted my dick into her vagina she moan out so loud that I thought Vanessa might wake up.

Our body swayed rhythmically, sweat breaking out of our bodies, yet we couldn't get enough of each other.

my body heated up,ecstasy, felt like some sort of rigor,I moaned out loud and collapsed on the ground,I just broke my vow to Vanessa.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

I sat in the gray, airless room of the New York State Department of Corrections, my knuckles white as the Warden delivered the news. "Parole denied." My father, Howard Sterling, had forged new evidence of financial crimes to keep me behind bars. He walked into the room, smelling of expensive cologne, and tossed a black folder onto the steel table. It was a marriage contract for Lucas Kensington, a billionaire currently lying in a vegetative state in the ICU. "Sign it. You walk out today." I laughed at the idea of being sold to a "corpse" until Howard slid a grainy photo toward me. It showed a toddler with a crescent-moon birthmark—the son Howard told me had died in an incubator five years ago. He smiled and told me the boy's safety depended entirely on my cooperation. I was thrust into the Kensington estate, where the family treated me like a "drowned rat." They dressed me in mothball-scented rags and mocked my status, unaware that I was monitoring their every move. I watched the cousin, Julian, openly waiting for Lucas to die to inherit the empire, while the doctors prepared to sign the death certificate. I didn't understand why my father would lie about my son’s death for years, or what kind of monsters would use a child as a bargaining chip. The injustice of it burned in my chest as I realized I was just a pawn in a game of old money and blood. As the monitors began to flatline and the family started to celebrate their inheritance, I locked the door and reached into the hem of my dress. I pulled out the sharpened silver wires I’d fashioned in the prison workshop. They thought they bought a submissive convict, but they actually invited "The Saint"—the world’s most dangerous underground surgeon—into their home. "Wake up, Lucas. You owe me a life." I wasn't there to be a bride; I was there to wake the dead and burn their empire to the ground.

Nicole had entered marriage with Walter, a man who never returned her feelings, bound to him through an arrangement made by their families rather than by choice. Even so, she had held onto the quiet belief that time might soften his heart and that one day he would learn to love her. However, that day never came. Instead, he treated her with constant contempt, tearing her down with cruel words and dismissing her as fat and manipulative whenever it suited him. After two years of a cold and distant marriage, Walter demanded a divorce, delivering his decision in the most degrading manner he could manage. Stripped of her dignity and exhausted by the humiliation, Nicole agreed to her friend Brenda's plan to make him see what he had lost. The idea was simple but daring. She would use another man to prove that the woman Walter had mocked and insulted could still be desired by someone else. All they had to do was hire a gigolo. Patrick had endured one romantic disappointment after another. Every woman he had been involved with had been drawn not to him, but to his wealth. As one of the heirs to a powerful and influential family, he had long accepted that this pattern was almost unavoidable. What Patrick wanted was far more difficult to find. He longed to fall in love with a woman who cared for him as a person, not for the name he carried or the fortune attached to it. One night, while he was at a bar, an attractive stranger approached him. Because of his appearance and composed demeanor, she mistook him for a gigolo. She made an unconventional proposal, one that immediately caught his interest and proved impossible for him to refuse.
