Carrying a child left Adeline trapped in marriage to the ruthless and unhinged Waylon, and everyone doubted she'd survive to see the baby's first breath. Filled with dread but determined, she carefully won him over and soon became his lethal obsession. Yet on the day she planned to escape, Waylon drove their car to a cliff's edge, foot hovering over the gas. "I'm sorry, love-did you just say divorce?" His fingers skimmed her cheek, his tone a deadly whisper. "Defy me, and you pay." Later, drenched in blood and rain, he knelt before her, trembling, and pleaded, "Tell me how to keep you here."

Trapped In The Tyrannical CEO's Love Chapter 1 Whose Baby Are You Carrying

"We're sorry, Ms. Sullivan, but with your current condition, an abortion isn't an option."

Adeline Sullivan, her eyes still covered by a soft white silk cloth, stumbled blindly out of the hospital doors. But just a second later, she was yanked back-caught tightly by Oliver Simpson, who had been tailing her closely.

Oliver hissed, "Adeline, why the hell are you running away? This is good news! Can't you see? The baby's father is Waylon-yes, Waylon-from the powerful Holden family! This child could make us filthy rich. Stop resisting and come with me. Watch your stomach, though. I promise, I won't hit you again."

"Let go of me!" Adeline cried out, her body trembling, her voice thick with fear.

She had once lived a peaceful life until a fire ripped her world apart, taking her family and her sight in a single night.

At first, Oliver had treated her with kindness and care. But the moment he realized the wealth her family once had was long gone, something in him changed. He turned violent, striking her without mercy.

Eventually, Oliver's cruelty had reached a new low-he planned to sell her off to cover his debts.

But that very night, Oliver had shoved her into Waylon Holden's room.

Adeline wasn't naïve. She knew exactly what Oliver was doing-he wanted to use her unborn child to squeeze money out of Waylon. And she knew-if she didn't escape today, she'd never get another shot. She was blind, helpless, and running out of time.

Just as Oliver was about to take Adeline away forcefully, the screech of tires cut through the air. A car pulled up, and in the next heartbeat, the grip crushing her arm vanished.

"Mr... Mr. Holden..." Oliver stammered.

"Oliver Simpson? If my memory serves me right, your father used to be a loyal servant of the Sullivan family. And now you're here-treating Ms. Sullivan this harshly?"

The voice sent a jolt through Adeline. It was Waylon! That night came rushing back in vivid, gut-wrenching flashes. The sealed room. The suffocating tension. The sound of fabric tearing. He had lurked like a predator in the shadows, ripping through the night with brutal force.

Oliver's voice quivered. "Mr. Holden, she's pregnant with your child. I-I was just trying to help you catch her..."

Though Adeline couldn't see, she could hear the fear woven into every word Oliver said. He was terrified.

Everyone feared Waylon. He was the eldest son of the president of the Holden Group. In Kranbu, his name alone made people tremble.

"Pregnant?" Waylon's voice dropped a note colder. "Ms. Sullivan, whose child are you carrying?"

Adeline's hands clenched into fists. This was her only chance to get away from Oliver. "Mr. Holden, please help me. Oliver... He's trying to force me into an abortion." She reached out, fumbling blindly until her fingers found the edge of Waylon's tailored sleeve and clung to it.

Oliver's eyes went wide with panic. "No! Mr. Holden, she's lying! I wouldn't dare harm anything tied to the Holden name!"

"Tie him up," Waylon ordered, his eyes landing on Adeline's hand as he wrapped his fingers around her wrist.

Before Oliver could protest, his arms were seized, and he was dragged away.

Adeline didn't have time to react before she was pulled into a stretch limousine. Her body was shoved onto the sleek leather seats, her arms locked tightly at her sides.

Suddenly, she felt fingers clamp around her ankle. "Don't touch me!" she gasped, the words slipping out with a frightened cry.

"Really, Ms. Sullivan? Didn't you just ask me for help?" Waylon, calm as ever, popped open a medical kit and dipped a cotton swab in antiseptic. He began to clean the wounds on her foot with deliberate care.

Adeline fell silent. Yes, she'd asked for help. But that didn't mean she trusted Waylon. To her, Oliver was a monster, but Waylon was no saint.

Waylon's movements were precise, his expression unreadable, his handsome features showing no emotion. "Ms. Sullivan, I'm sure you understand my purpose. I simply wish to know the father of the baby you are carrying."

Adeline's cheeks burned with embarrassment. She kept her mouth shut, lips pressed together, refusing to answer. She could feel the weight behind his question, the insinuation that she had slept around since their intimate night.

"But actually, it doesn't matter," Waylon added, a faint, mocking smirk in his voice.

Adeline's chest tightened. She understood exactly what he meant. The Holden family couldn't risk the disgrace of a child born out of wedlock. Whether the baby was truly Waylon's or not, it was still a stain they refused to bear. She drew in a shaky breath before whispering hoarsely, "Mr. Holden, I didn't plan any of this. Oliver spiked our drinks and forced me into your lounge that night. I didn't even know it was you. I'm not trying to trap you."

Waylon said nothing. His silence was like a wall.

Adeline's voice quivered as she added, "My condition can't handle an abortion. Please... Just let me live. I'll disappear-I'll leave this country for good. No one will ever know about your child..."

Her voice cracked near the end. But the moment the words left her lips, a sudden jolt of pain shot through her. "Ouch..." she gasped.

Waylon had pressed the cotton into her wounds with deliberate force, eyes following the blood that seeped out before he slowly raised his face to meet hers. His lips curled into a slow, sharp smile as her face contorted with pain. "Oh! So you really see yourself as innocent?" he asked, his smile twisting with cruel amusement.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

One Night With My Billionaire Boss

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner-my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn't offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend's apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I'd spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend's face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

The Discarded Heiress: Marrying My Lethal Husband

The Discarded Heiress: Marrying My Lethal Husband

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."
