Angela Pov

I stuff the remaining clothes left on the bed in my old bag,I look up and wipe the beads of sweat on my forehead,mom came in shortly and she smiled.

"You're done"

"Yeah"I breathed out tiredly.

"You're graduating this week right?"

"Yeah,and we are organizing a party "

"I'm having a weird feeling about this party"

"Weird?"I asked confused.

"Yeah,I don't know maybe it's good or bad"

"Mum,stop stressing yourself over this issue,it's just an ordinary party"I drawled.

She move closer to me and held my hand,she interlock our fingers together and stare at me affectionately.

"Temi nikan soso(my one and only)you know we have no one,I'm just a hopeless widow struggling to make both ends meet,if not for the scholarship awarded to you,you would have drop out long ago,please do not put me to shane please"She begged with tears dripping down her face and I hug her immediately.

"Mama,I promise I won't put you to shane"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes mom I promise"

A little Introduction of myself,my name is Angela Adesuwa,the only child of a poor widow ,we live in the oldest house in the town,we were so poor that we can only afford two square meal a day,but through don't of handwork,my mom mom was able to sponsor me to a technical school, although she's not the one responsible for the fees but she's not the one catering all other needs.

I'm graduating this week and I'll do everything to make my mom enjoy the fruit of her labor.

She enter the room again and gave me 6,000 naira ,I gasp and pull her into a hug immediately, although I asked for 10,000 naira but half of a bread is better than none.

Kike Pov

I sit at the doctor's office waiting for the doctor anxiously.

What's keeping her this long?

She should be here now.

After a while she walk I to the room.

"I'm so sorry Kike,I was busy"

"It's fine doctor"I smiled and she sit down.

"So ,about your mom's health,you are taking too long to pay the money ,her health is failing"She said and I sniffed.

"Uhm,please just help me to treat her ,I promise to pay"

*It's against the policy of the hospital"

"Please what can I do?"

"I told you earlier Kike,just try to pay the money"

"Okay doctor thanks"I said feebly and walk out of the room.

What do I do o lord?

We have not helper,mom is diagnosed of cancer last month and the doctor said I should pay 2 million naira for the surgery or else, she'll die and I don't want her to die.

Dad died last year and things had been so though for us.

I don't really know what to do anymore.

Kelly's Pov

The guards carried my bags out of my room,I and Maya walk hand in hand out if the room giggling.

"Brother please"She whined and I sighed.

"Alright I'll send it to your account tomorrow"

"Wow thanks ,I really appreciate"

"You're welcome"

My name is Kelly Williams,I came from a family of six as the third child,mom,dad,Maya the last born and my two other other sisters,Eunice and Ruth as the first and second respectively although they are married ,our family has never been a happy one,mom forced my first two sisters into marriage and they have never been happy,she is giving them out because of her selfish interests which makes them detect her so much.

I and mom aren't that close but she's been forcing me on Claire ,the spoilt brat of Senator olawale,she's so spoilt and rude,I can even marry that lady not even in my dreams.

Enough of the Introduction

"I'll miss you brother"She pouted and I ruffle her hair.

"You mess up my hair"She whined and I ruffle it more.

"Stop"

"I'll miss you too little sis"

"Don't forget to send the money"

"I promised you right,I won't forget that"

"Okay bye,safe journey"

She hug me for a while and after some time,we separated, I step into the car and the driver drive off.
