But just as he took two steps Derek twisted his neck "thank you" he said to the dead guard as he hid the body. Some slaves gasped in horror at what Derek did , while some don't care. Derek shifted into the guard he just killed not minding the gasps from the slaves as he took the direction the guards told him. Some guards passed by thinking he was one of them. Derek finally got to the punishment room as he shifted back to his human form. He could scent his mate even more now. Just as he opened the entrance door of the room, he saw a man removing a wet cloth from a girls face. The man being none other than Lennon. He saw two girls tied to a chair, one with blood dripping from her open wound, while the other coughing terribly.
