half-siblings or stepmother before, and she wasn't sure what to expect. Her father, sensing her nervousness, gave her a reassuring smile before getting out of the car and heading to the front door.

s determined to root out everything he could about their criminal enterprise, and he was making progress. As he sifted through the files, he came across the name "Hailey" several times. He remembered Faith mentioning her as one of Daemon's associates, and he made a note to look into her further. Just then, one of his colleagues walked into his office. "Hey, Baltimore, we need you down in the tech lab," the colleague said. "We just got some new surveillance footage in from one of our informants, and we need your expert eye on it." Mr. Baltimore sighed and stood up from his desk. He knew he couldn't let his personal feelings for Daemon cloud his judgement when it came to his job. He followed his colleague down to the tech lab, where the footage was playing on a large screen. As he watched the footage, he couldn't help but notice Hailey's skillful use of technology to run the operation. He made a mental note to have his team investigate her further. After the meeting, Mr. Baltimore made a call to one of his trusted detectives. "I need you to look into a woman named Hailey," he said. "She's an associate of Daemon's, and she seems to be the tech guru behind their operations. Find out everything you can about her, and report back to me." As he hung up the phone, Mr. Baltimore couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. He was one step closer to bringing down Daemon and his crew, and he knew that he had the resources to do it. Faith finally woke up, headed downstairs and sat at the kitchen table, absentmindedly stirring her coffee. Her mind was still preoccupied with thoughts of Daemon and what her father might do to him and his crew. She glanced up at her stepmother, who was bustling around the kitchen, packing lunches for the kids. "Hey, stepmom, what case is my dad working on at the moment?" Faith asked, trying to sound casual. Her stepmother turned around, a look of surprise on her face. "I'm not sure, honey. Why do you ask?" Faith shrugged. "Just curious, I guess. He's been spending a lot of time at the office lately?” "Well, I'm sure it's just a busy time for him," her stepmother replied. "Nothing to worry about." Faith nodded, but her intuition told her otherwise. She had to find out what her father was up to, and if it involved Daemon and his crew, she needed to warn him. As her stepmother turned back to the counter, Faith quickly pulled out her phone and sent a text message to Daemon. "Hey, I don't know what's going on, but my stepmom accidentally mentioned something about Hailey being good with technology and you guys running some kind of operation. Be careful." She hit send and then quickly pocketed her phone, hoping that her stepmom wouldn't catch her. She couldn't risk being caught and giving away any more information. All she could do now was wait and hope that Daemon got the message in time. Daemon had been waiting anxiously for any news from Faith ever since she left. He had no idea where she was or what was going on with her father's investigation. He checked his phone every five minutes hoping to see a message from her. Finally, a text message from Faith arrived on his phone. Daemon's heart raced with fear as he read the message. He immediately called a meeting with Jake, Babushka, Savage, and Hailey to inform them of the situation. Hailey, who had been eavesdropping on their conversation, was not pleased. "What is she doing? Why is she contacting you after all that's happened?" Hailey snapped. Daemon was taken aback by her reaction. "She's just looking out for me," he said calmly. Hailey's eyes narrowed as she glared at him. "And what about me? Am I not looking out for you? You know I can hack into anything and everything. I can protect you better than anyone," she said defensively. Daemon sighed. He knew he had to tread carefully with Hailey. "I appreciate your concern, Hailey. But this is a delicate situation. We need to be cautious and avoid drawing any unnecessary attention," he explained. Hailey begrudgingly nodded her head in agreement, but her expression remained sour. Daemon couldn't help but feel a twinge of guilt for hiding his relationship with Hailey from Faith. He knew it was wrong, but he couldn't deny his feelings for Hailey either. He just hoped that everything would work out in the end. Afterwards, Babushka led Daemon to the back room of their warehouse hideout, closing the door behind them. He folded his arms and leaned against the wall, looking at Daemon with suspicion. "Okay, what's going on between you and Hailey?" Babushka demanded. Daemon raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" "I mean, she's been acting strange e
