“The book starts with the protagonist Ronita missing her date with her boyfriend who her family doesn't know about because he is not up to standards for a girl like her who grew up like a princess. Her best friend Lucia secretly likes Pedro, Ronita's boyfriend. Lucia sleeps with Pedro, Pedro thought Ronita cheated on h I am. A typical love triangle, Rodriguez and Andrew try to fight for the love and affection of Ronita. Ronita's father, Mr. Salvador dies of an heart attack, Ronita believes there is more to his death than meets the eye. She is sent out of her house and everything is taken from her. The mother she once believed was her mother, Eve, ended up not being her mother. Apparently Eve has two other children unknown to Ronita and her deceased father. Ronita ends up living with Rodriguez for a while. After the death of Salvador all his properties are split between Bianca and King, Eve's children. Ronita takes it upon herself to find the cause of her father's death and the culprits involved in it while trying to figure out her messed up love life”
