wake up and see it was all a dream. But here I was, staring at my food. "This has to be some kind of joke," I said to myself as I crossed my arms across my chest. I felt uncomfortable with my pos

f luck. Imagine being the wife of a hotshot billionaire. You'll have anything and everything you wished for. And he seems to be a good person," she said. "What about love?" She clicked her tongue, "Love isn't a concrete factor for anything these days. Just look at the fact that he'll be able to take care of you and your needs." "Let's be logical, Phoebe," I rubbed my temples. "We're being logical right now, Tia. Love is not a criterion for marriage anymore. There are so many people that are married without love and their living fine. Besides, you guys will look good together," she said and I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'll think about it," I mumbled as I climbed my bed. "Okay, babe. Just know I'll support any decision you make. I need to take a bath now," she told me. Just yesterday you were all sunshine and rainbows, and today is the exact opposite," Glory narrowed her eyes at me. "It doesn't mean anything happened to me," I shrugged. She rolled her eyes while Jasmine shook her head at me. "Stop trying to hide whatever is wrong. Just tell us, maybe we can help." I sighed and took a sip of my coffee. "It's a long and complicated story," I told them. "We're listening," Jasmine said as she took a bite of her chocolate cupcake. She has a really sweet tooth. I took in a deep breath and decided to tell them, "A man proposed to me last night. I know it sounds absurd but I am not joking." I paused and they looked at me like I was crazy. "Explain please," Jasmine blinked and dropped her snack like she was trying to focus on what I just said. I explained to them about the situation with Anthony and kept quiet,
