“Spending all her life with her very shrewd, arrogant but poor single mother, JULIA AUSTIN,a teenage girl preparing for college with a great ambition lives and has a slight flare for drama still endures the pain given to her by her single mom whose hatred,is due to the circumstances surrounding her birth. Julia sees herself always talked down by her mum who seems to have a lot against her. The only consolation and confidant Julia has is her very good and childhood friend who also happens to be here best friend, RICARDO THOMPSON, who is also being raised by a wealthy single mom. Ricardo is a sweet guy with a very personable spirit. He's always there to console and be a broad shoulder for Julia to rest on. The both of them share their story together and see themselves as siblings from different wombs. Ricardo makes it clear to Julia that he detests how she's wrongly treated by her mum and yet she always puts her first and wants to make her a proud and happy mother. Though Ricardo hates what Julia's mum does to her,he still tries respecting Julia's unconditional love for her mother. Unknown to Julia, Ricardo's friendship ends up creating an urge in him to take this friendship to the next level. He secretly starts finding interest in her and starts spending more time with her under the pretense that they're friends. She also has her instincts whispering to her that Ricardo has feelings for her but he refuses to admit his feelings. He's always there to help her out with her chores and even goes as far as taking her for outings afterwards. He just makes Julia believe that it's his way of being friendly. A day comes when he meets Julia's mum shouting and bullying her and decides to finally confront her and while this confrontation is going on, Julia's mum slums. Julia in dismay and Ricardo I'm shocked quickly rush her to the hospital. They arrive at the hospital and finally find out after a series of tests that Julia's mum due to a lot of drinking and smoking is faced with an ailment called LEUKEMIA which needs immediate medical attention. They didn't have enough money to pay for the treatment and she wasn't ready to take any help from Ricardo cause she sees him as a partial reason for her mom's condition and this causes a drift in their friendship. So Julia takes it upon herself to start doing things to generate the money which leads her to doing something which she never imagined she'd do and this is SELLING DRUGS. She started doing it and was able to generate a good amount of money but unfortunately for her,on a particular day,she was caught on camera by a low-key mafia king named GEORGE HART. She pleads with him and Eventually told him her situation but he still uses this to threaten her to get her to steal something from the museum and even promises her to pay her handsomely for her mum's treatment.This she does without telling her best friend. Even after this,she's still made to do some other things for him. They eventually get caught by the police and this leads to him denying all the allegations and making Julia look like a bad person but someone quickly comes to her rescue who happens to be a spy. Julia becomes shocked to see who the person was? Who could this person be?”
