He called the school head to inform her that Sophie was around, then insteucted Sophie to go straight to her office. Sophie was scared, she taught about what must have happened. Many things ran through her mind as she walked to Mrs Smith's office. She knocked and opened the door."Good morning, Ma'am.""Good morning to you, Miss Anderson. Have a sit."Sophie wanted to stand, but the Mistress' demeanor was calm. So she sat. "Thank you, Ma.""I called this meeting because there have been a report about you, barely one week after you resumed." She paused, as if to keep Sophie in suspense."Considering the first impression you gave us, followed by this, the school is alarmed and we're forced to take measures to be assured that it doesn't happen again. We also want to verify the authenticity of this report." She stared at Sophie as if that was how she'd verify the authenticity.Sophie sank into her chair, but was sure to keep a face that'd not show her weakness. She took it and waited to hear what the woman had to say, but she said, "you may leave now.""Thank you, Ma'am."Sophie went straight to the children's playground and sat down. Her calm in reading the letter assured her that she was more mature than she ever thought. From the letter, sh understood that a parent had made two reports about her. The first was of her rudeness to the parent and secondly, about her careless handling of the same parent's child. Because the school couldn't vouch for her yet and was making proper investigations on it, they suspended her for the main time.She stood up, dusted her light pink skirt that looked very bright in the early morning sun and left the play ground.
