The girl Jessica asked me and I raised my eyes and looked at her properly. She seems to be the same age as I am. She stood taller her posture straight as she threw a glance my way. If she was going to serve me, then there was no need for me to give her any attitude. I was so tired from the previous day and just wanted my mind to be calm and for me to be calm too. "Who sent you here??" I asked her and she looked at me again before walking to the chair beside her and settling down. She sighed as she looked at me more, her eyes appeared relaxed. She appears to be calm but in those big brown eyes that she was staring right back at me with, there was nothing calm about the way she was looking at me. "I wish there was a way for me to say no, but with all that has happened in the pack, this is the only place I could end up in." There was so much more to her words but I didn't bother to press more words out of her as I sat there and looked at her. Letting all the thoughts in my head fall away I decided to forget all about that. "And do you have any idea where my supposed husband is??" I asked her. She nodded as she stood up. "It is the Alpha that asked me to serve you, he said I should make sure you are very comfortable in our pack, you have nothing to worry about Miss Elodie."
