assistants, Professor William was scrubbing in when I finished the washing ritual. I joined her. The patient has been anaesthetized and it's my turn to prepare the site of operation. Whipple procedure is a major and highly complex surgery. It's is performed for patients who have cancer near the pancreas, bile duct or duodenum or other tumors that may not be cancerous . This patient's condition is just tumor near the pancreas, not cancerous. We are to section and remove part of the pancreas and the duodenum and resection it. I prepare the abdominal section and the surgery started. We noted the time and we continued. The surgery took 8 hours as Professor williams really took her time. We closed her up and dressed the operation site. We completed the surgery and she was wheeled to the recovery room. We took off our sterile scrubs and went to rest. Seemingly, we have to wait till the patient wakes up before we can go. Her waking up means the surgery was successful. I slept off while waiting. "My studying actually pays off" I thought. At 9pm, I was woken up by a colleague. My patient is awake. I rushed to the recovery room and met Prof. Williams. She was conversing with her, I had met her earlier bfore the surgery too. I greeted her and asked how she was feeling. "Her vitals looks really good and she is okay" I thought. "You did well, I know I could count on you" Prof. William said. I smiled softly proud of myself. The news of the successful surgery spreads quickly like wildfire. Before we knew it, it was all over the news. I was exhausted and requested for an off duty for the next two days which the MD gladly accepted. I yawn as I move out of the hospital building in ED scrubs as it's the one I changed to after the surgery because it's more comfy. I was stopped by the press outside, who are really interested in what I have to say. I was been asked series of questions some goes: "How did you feel about the surgery?, How do you feel assisting Prof. williams, one of the biggest general surgeon in the world?" and all others like that and I answered. "I feel great about it all and thank you I need to get some rest" I left their midst in a hurry and went to the parking lot. I entered the car and told the driver "Let's go home". "Yes ma'am" the driver answered and started the engine then we zoomed off. We got home quite late around 10:30pm. We entered through the gate and he dropped me off at the door. I came out of the car and entered. The house was quiet but I can hear faint voices from a distance. I moved closer to the voice and I saw Alexander and his friend Tony at the bar stool taking sips of what looks like red wine. "Well, if it is not our celebrity doctor" Tony said. "Tony!!" I called. "Hey, welcome back" He greeted and came in for a hug. I returned the hug. "It's been a while, since the day of the w

u" he replied. My mouth was wide opened now, I had finished the food in my mouth "you can speak more than ten words?" I asked. he looked at me as if i had grew two heads. He called on one of the maids to serve his food neglecting the veggies as usual. I don't how Selena copes with him, he has this very cold demeanor, as cold as ice. We both continued our food silently. As I concluded I'm done eating, I retracted back to my room to do some personal stuff on my laptop. Val
