The Ninety-Ninth Goodbye
Tango The ninety-ninth time Jax Little broke my heart was the last time. We were the golden couple of Northgate High, our future perfectly mapped out for UCLA. But in our senior year, he fell for a new girl, Catalina, and our love story became a sick, exhausting dance of his betrayals and my empty threats to leave.
At a graduation party, Catalina "accidentally" pulled me into the pool with her. Jax dove in without a second's hesitation. He swam right past me as I struggled, wrapped his arms around Catalina, and pulled her to safety.
As he helped her out to the cheers of his friends, he glanced back at me, my body shivering and my mascara running in black rivers.
"Your life isn't my problem anymore," he said, his voice as cold as the water I was drowning in.
That night, something inside me finally shattered. I went home, opened my laptop, and clicked the button that confirmed my admission.
Not to UCLA with him, but to NYU, an entire country away. Echoes of a Stolen Life
Gertrude "Liam, we need to talk." My father's flat voice cut through the tense silence of our dining room, setting the stage for a conversation I knew was coming. The university scholarship, a white rectangle of hope, lay on the table-a trap. My mother, Sarah, chimed in, her voice sickly sweet as she reminded me Noah hadn't gotten a scholarship, knowing what they truly wanted.
Then came the monstrous demand: "We want you to give the scholarship to him." Hot anger surged, the desire to scream, to accuse them of their blatant, cruel favoritism. But then, the cold memory washed over me. In my last life, I had screamed. I had fought. They expelled me, had me framed for plagiarism with fake evidence under Noah's name. The university slammed its doors. My name was dragged through the mud.
I watched Noah, my beloved younger brother, live my stolen life while I spiraled into poverty and despair. I died at thirty, watching his business success on TV, consumed by bitter regret. Why did they do this to me? How could my family betray me so monstrously?
But now, I was eighteen again. The letter was on the table. The same demand hung in the air. This time, I would not fight them. Not here, not now. I looked up, a mask of dejection on my face, and whispered, "Okay." They expected a fight, but I had a new plan. I was taking my future back, and this time, they wouldn't even see it coming. The Price of Unrequited Love
Shearwater Eighteen days after giving up on Brendan Maynard, Jayde Rosario cut off her waist-length hair and called her father, announcing her decision to move to California and attend UC Berkeley.
Her father, surprised, asked about the sudden change, reminding her how she' d always insisted on staying with Brendan. Jayde forced a laugh, revealing the painful truth: Brendan was getting married, and she, his stepsister, could no longer cling to him.
That night, she tried to tell Brendan about her college acceptance, but his fiancée, Chloie Ellis, interrupted with a bubbly call, and Brendan' s tender words to Chloie twisted a knife in Jayde' s heart. She remembered how his tenderness used to be hers alone, how he had protected her, and how she had poured out her heart to him in a diary and a love letter, only for him to explode, tearing the letter and yelling, "I'm your brother!"
He had stormed out, leaving her to painstakingly tape the shredded pieces back together. Her love, however, didn't die, not even when he brought Chloie home and told her to call her "sister-in-law."
Now, she understood. She had to put that fire out herself. She had to dig Brendan out of her heart. Secret Crush
Harry Serena When Chloe came to Leighton High for the first time, in a small town, she didn't expect to come into a bully's radar. All her life, she had always stayed out of people's way, and was never really noticed. She had also always had to make an effort to make friends, but never enemies.
Not that she didn't think she was way past getting one, but she didn't think it would be someone as Handsome as Zach was.

Riella.N My wish was to get through college without being noticed, as a scholarship student who did not fit into the elite and flashy lifestyles of students here. That was my one goal, but I guess we don't always get what we want.
I always wanted to fall in love with the hero, but instead, I got the villain, a charming devil.
Brooding and dominant, he tested and pushed me to my limits. He was the only one to see through me with his cold gaze. I was not supposed to fall for him despite our past. I wasn't supposed to crave his touch, his presence, to feel him, but some things are just out of our control.
In an elite school, full of polished students, dark deeds behind the walls, betrayals, secrets, and lies, I was meant to fall in love with the hero but instead got the fucking villain.
My Daddy and Uncles
Flying Soul 🦋 “Alina, you will get late for school again” I heard Dad banging on my door.
“Last 10 min” I mumble, but my eyes widen. I was with Uncle Harrison. Did Dad find us?
“Alina…” I opened my eyes, I was in my room and Harrison was looking at me with a warm smile wearing his signature suit.
“I am taking a bath” I yelled.
“Come fast, your breakfast is ready,” Dad said before leaving.
“Good morning” Uncle Harrison came to bed cupping my face he kissed me.
“Good morning” I whispered on his lips.
“When did you bring me here,” I asked.
“You were sleeping,” He said, scooping me in his arms and entering my bathroom.
“This hide and seek is terrible” I sighed.
“But it's fun” He chuckled.

Imma Noir My smile dies the second the door swings open. Gasping, I stumble back as if burned by the deep scowl aimed at me.
"You!" I whisper, and at the same time, my arch-enemy's scowl morphs into a sinister smile.

I feel cold sweat break across my forehead, but I curl my fingers tighter around the strap of my purse. "I'm here to... for... um..."
Tyler snorts, seemingly taking pleasure in my embarrassment. "What are you doing here, Garcia?"
