A planned car accident turned Sherri's life upside down. He mercilessly threw her onto the bed and scowled at the confusion in her eyes. The desire for revenge gradually left him. Falling into his tenderness, Sherri lost her heart to him, but the secret he was hiding finally broke her down. She gave up and tried to run away from him, but he would never let her go.

Chapter 1 A Car Accident

It was the beginning of summer in L City. The shrilling of cicadas grated on people's ears.

Somewhere, a Porsche sports car drove down from an overpass. However, a truck suddenly appeared in front of the car. The driver of the Porsche swerved to avoid the collision, but it hit the protective railing on the side instead. With a loud crash, the car billowed out white smoke.

It was a chaotic and hectic scene. The accident prompted the ambulance and medics to show up.

"Miss, can you hear me?"

A nurse looked anxiously at the woman on the stretcher. The woman's white dress was blood-stained due to the crash. The nurse was used to seeing all sorts of patients, but she still felt sorry for the fashionable young lady.

"Ouch. It hurts... My legs..."

The young woman's eyes were misty. She was dizzy and confused. Eventually, the strong smell of disinfectant woke her senses up.

The car accident, which had just transpired, made her suffer a lot. The immense pain that she felt was reflected in her eyes. When a doctor came in to check on her, she struggled and screamed, "My legs! Why can't I move my legs?! I don't want to stay here. I want to go home."

The outburst alarmed the doctor, so he called a nurse to help him. The two of them worked together to keep the woman on the bed and they injected her with a tranquilizer to ease her violent behavior.

The nurse carefully walked up to the bedside. She looked at the young woman who now had messy hair and clouded eyes. "Miss, you're in the hospital. You had a car accident, and your legs were seriously injured."

"Fuck off! Get out!"

Meanwhile on the national highway, a Bugatti Veyron car zoomed through the city. The driver, Jackson Murong, wore a high-end customized Armani suit. He took off his Bluetooth device and frowned. In the next minute, his face turned cold and a cruel smile slowly appeared. He stepped on the accelerator and sped up, leaving traces of smoke and tire scratches behind.

In L City, there was a famous and affluent community called the Downtown Garden. It was filled with all kinds of amusement facilities along with grand and luxurious villas. The place was simply astounding. Every villa was surrounded by huge lawns that made passers-by stare in awe. They couldn't help but praise the lavish area.

Right in the center of the Downtown Garden, there was a duplex villa that exuded a European charm and influence. On that day, the sound of a weeding machine emitted from its huge garden lawn. A beautiful and petite woman inside the villa stared out the window, seemingly lost in thought.

Suddenly, the phone in her pocket rang. Seeing the caller ID, a sweet smile appeared on her face. She answered the phone excitedly. "Allen, have you been busy recently? Me? I'm fine."

Her life in the Murong family had not exactly been smooth sailing, but they were the ones who adopted her. This kindness had been like a debt that she had to repay. It was a big family, but she handled most of the housework by herself. Her musing was once again interrupted. This time, it was the sound of tires that broke the rare peace.

Jackson Murong got out of the Bugatti Veyron angrily. His livid face showed fury and discontent. With a loud and harsh sound, he slammed the car door shut.

"Sherri Bai!"

Jackson Murong grabbed her wrist, his eyes burned with rage.

She didn't know what he was angry about. She stared at him blankly, struggling to get rid of his big hand. "What's wrong with you? I didn't do anything to you."

"I just came back from the hospital. Did you know that Bella's seriously injured? She's lying in the hospital right now. Tell me! Did you do it?" With an intense look of accusation, he dragged her into the villa.

"Let me go! Let me go!"

She felt terrible about what he was saying. Bella Murong was completely fine when she went out this morning. How could she be in a car accident? Her heart was in turmoil, so she kept shaking her head in denial. Seeing the man's unusual behavior, chills went through her whole body. Did he think she did it?

Jackson Murong dragged Sherri Bai to the living room on the first floor. Fueled with anger, he mercilessly grabbed her neck. Her fair skin made him pity her briefly, but he was still mad. "Who do you think you are? You're just a servant in the Murong family. Why do you treat my sister badly? Why do you treat her like a thorn in your flesh? You treated her so badly when I was not home, and yet I let you go. Now you even got her in a car accident. Sherri, you deserve to die!"

She looked at him in horror and shook her head continuously. "No, I didn't. The car accident has nothing to do with me. You wronged me!"

"I wronged you? Bella is my sister. She's so obedient. Why are you so cruel to her? Did the butler lie too? Are you saying that they planned to frame you?"

Jackson Murong was stubborn in his argument. The anger made him go out of his mind. Sherri Bai didn't expect Bella Murong to set her up. But why did the butler frame her too? He was close to Bella and had watched her grow up, so it made sense that Jackson Murong believed the butler's words.

"Do you really believe that I did it?" she asked.

"Who else would it be if it wasn't you?! Sherri, you're such a wicked woman. You won't admit it, will you? I will make you admit it." In a sudden turn, Jackson Murong became eerily calm. He continued coldly, "Do you want Allen Zheng to suffer for your fault?"

She looked at him in astonishment and shook her head. "Jackson, what do you want?"

"What do I want? How about I give Allen double the pain that you've inflicted on Bella? What do you think?" Jackson Murong sneered in response.

Sherri Bai, who was preoccupied, stared at him with fear. Her wrist was ruthlessly grabbed by him once again. Disregarding her feeble body, he strengthened his hold. The tremendous force made her feel the familiar pain. Jackson Murong whispered in a cold voice, "Sherri, you have a face that can bewitch men, but you are more vicious than anyone else."

"No, I did do it. Jackson, you can't wrong me."

He then glared at her fiercely and harshly shook off her wrist. "Since you don't want to admit it, just wait until you have to bury Allen's body."

After saying that, he turned around to leave.

Sherri Bai fell to the floor and grabbed his sleeve tightly. "You can wrong me all you want, but you can't bring Allen into this. Jackson, if you dared to hurt Allen, I will make you regret it!"

An evil smile appeared on the corner of his mouth. Disgust was evident in his eyes. He jested, "Sherri, you're just a wild child adopted by the Murong family. How dare you bargain with me?!"

"Jackson, you can't wrong a good man. Allen has a bright future. You can't do that to him." She was beyond frightened. No matter how bad he treated her, she could endure it. It didn't even matter if he misunderstood her. But Allen Zheng was different. He shouldn't have to suffer.

Jackson's gloomy eyes became more hostile. He squatted down to grab her hair. "Allen also likes your face, right? Sherri, you're a slut. The more you defend Allen, the more I hate you two!"

Hearing his words, Sherri Bai became desperate. She struggled to stand up and stared at the cold and ruthless Jackson Murong. The tenderness and patience in her heart had long disappeared. With jumbled emotions, she said, "Yes, I did it. I don't like Bella, so I wanted to teach her a lesson. Are you satisfied with that answer?"

"You finally admitted. Very good!"

Sherri Bai stared at him with red eyes. Grief and sadness overflowed in her heart. If he needed a scapegoat, she would sacrifice herself instead of Allen Zheng.

The last trace of pity in Jackson's heart vanished after hearing her confession. He was on the verge of exploding in hatred. At this moment, all he wanted to do was vent the displeasure in his heart.

"Can you promise not to make things difficult for Allen?" She carefully looked at the man's eyes, her body trembling.

Her plea was all for Allen's sake, which made Jackson Murong feel very conflicted. He glowered at her with red eyes. How much power was hidden in her thin body? He really wanted to know what she was thinking. He was burdened with complex feelings as he carried her on his shoulder and went straight to the second floor.

"Jackson, let go of me. Put me down!"

Sherri Bai felt an imminent threat as he went upstairs step by step. She preferred the angry and screaming Jackson than this creepily silent one.

She came to the Murong family at the age of eight. She didn't know much about Jackson Murong, but she knew that he was cold and cruel. All this time, she had kept her distance from him. She had endured his cold attitude all this time. She had no idea what he was planning to do now.

Jackson Murong carried her into his big bedroom. A room that showed his seriousness with the gray styling. He threw her onto the bed mercilessly and scowled at her confused eyes. The desire for revenge gradually engulfed him.

"Isn't this your room? Why did you bring me here?" Sherri Bai was confused as she tried to decipher him. A shadow of fear slowly covered her heart.

His fingers roughly caressed her cheek. He looked down at Sheri with conflicting emotions. He could feel her body slightly trembling. Sherri Bai felt his fingers caress her skin, which left a cool feeling.

A strange desire flowed out of her body. Jackson Murong stared at her impatiently.

She couldn't look into his eyes. His body emitted a threatening aura and a suffocating smell. She couldn't see through the real him at this moment. She struggled with all her might, but she was no match for the man. Soon, her hands and legs were suppressed by him.

"No... You can't do this..."

Panic could be seen in her big watery eyes. He smiled wickedly. If he could see her fear and panic in that moment, it would mean that he had won. The more panicked she looked, the happier he was.

Looking at her stubborn eyes and unwillingness to admit defeat, he became very angry. Pinning all his strength on her body, he leaned over her earlobe and whispered evilly, "I always get what I want. You deserve this."
