Adventurous Trios Chapter 1 Adventurous Trios

Chapter 1

*Calvin POV*

The tingling sound of my alarm sprang me up so badly I landed on the floor. Am never the type to do things early or too rushing. I stood up wearily pick me towel and head towards the bathroom.

-----minutes later------

It the first day at "Golden high school" since the last holiday and it my final year so I gotta be punctual, neat, and look so senior ā˜ŗļø. I was drying my hair when I heard a beep from my phone that says "you done?" plus a (winky šŸ˜‰) emoji from Marcy.

"of cos not" I texted back not immediately and continue dressing up.

Well am Calvin Samuels by name the first son of "The Samuels". I had two siblings a girl name Erica and my little brother Jace we all were born and raised in Nigeria šŸ‡³šŸ‡¬ grew up a little in America cos a one-time vacation turned a three years stayed-working permit for us.

Since then growing up a little there, and watching all this teen movies makes me wish for that kind of life even tho it might be camouflage. I once try doing that when I turned 16, but hell my parents didn't take it hell lightly with me. Since then me, and my friends vowed to make our life different from others Nigerian-breed teens.

Is not like am not free but not just free enough as I guess I would be for a 16+ old boy.

My mum is a businesswoman while my dad is a medical doctor so we're kinda rich and okay.

I had two best friends named "Marcy, and "Victor"

We are like the "Three musketeers"

We met on the first year of junior high school then I met both of them in the principal's office getting admitted. We were both introduced to the class same time and our sit were next to each other.

"Calvin are u coming downstairs or I should come drag your lazy body down here" mom shouted crazily

I think that information about me is enough for now.

"Coming, am almost done" I retorted loudly for her to ear

With a finishing touch on my school tie and hair I pick up my school bag and run downstairs their I met my families sited around our classic dinning chairs praying šŸ™

Taking my sit I close my eyes and join them.

I wonder why there is sandwich for breakfast table, kinda weird right. Who cares. Taking a brunch out of the three sandwichesšŸ”, and shoving them in my mouth causing everyone's eyes glued on me

"What?" I asked the four eyes staring at me

"I don't wanna be late for school" I added

You literally just ate dad's sandwich, and yuh asking what?" Erica cut me off

The fuck" I said inwardly

Uhmmmm dad unno am innocent right?" I asked narrowing my eyes at him

"Let see, u know how i weird i get when it comes to breakfast right? So know son u ain't innocent" dad said with what I don't understand eyes

Am sorry, but am still innocent I had no idea three sandwiches are for u only" I defended

"Oh c'mon"

"okay am sorry" I said to end the unnecessary argument.

With haste I tore out of the foil white paper on the dinning table and put the remaining sandwich taking my stance

I glance at dad and mom

"I'ma head out now" I said in haste

"Kid it 7:15AM on Monday morning u gat something to do before going to school" Dad said with that awkward look"

"Am a senior now and this is my last year at "Golden high" I need to start laying good examples dad" I explained unnecessarily

"Laying examples for who please"

"For my juniors of course"I replied

"Wait do I look like a junior following my senior legacy to you" Erica cuts in

I glared at her shutting her up quickly

"Please dad" I begged

"You are not going anywhere young man" dad said sternly

"Am literally 16+, and yet i can't make simple decision for myself, phewww how hard" I thought

"Okay am helping Mr Daniels review our homework's this morning" I lied

"Really u could have said that before we even start this conversation u know" dad said with a suspicious look

"Don't know u need an explanation on why am leaving early" I said getting quite annoyed

"Okay pick the amount that can sustain you for the day in my wallet on the table on your way out " dad ordered

Pecking mom, glaring at erica and ruffling James hair I bade my family bye šŸ‘‹

Went to my dad's wallet shove 10k in my wallet and dash out

Something I love doing

Clicking on the bolt app and ordering an Uber pick up that displays "five mins until arrive" could allow me tell you guys my ambitions, and a little about my life

Well as I said earlier am 16yrs old guy with natural full black hair, round cute face, not too big nose, not too big lips, a not too dark brown skin and a normal height for a guy like me. I can be described cute, and half handsome. The cute looks still gat some girls crushing and dumping a pile of letters in my lockers and bags during lunch break.

Well since we spent a whole three years at L.A change a half of my mindset. Since then have been trying to live my life a bit different not only me, but mainly me if am asked.U know where they get to throw parties, attend parties at a teen age, and most of all none of their parent criticized them cos it a normal thing for a teen to do. Well the last time Mom&Dad throw me a parties was when I clocked sixteenth, I wasn't even allowed to invite the people I wanted there it more like a family-birthday party. This year is gonna be a total difference cos am gonna throw my dream party this year, and yes my parent are still alive, I don't know how am gonna do it but I must do it alongside my sweet stupid best friends.

Taking a glance at the car who just horn had me guessing it my pick up. Walking towards him, and switching off my phone to send him to his prison world at the back of my bag-pack, and not after confirming his the one I dive into the passenger seat and tell him to start the trip.

Well yeah!!!! That was how it all begins.

Taking a stop at my two best friends houses, and them joining me in my trip was our daily routine. We're all in a car making hella noise for the driver to keep chewing on his bottom lip and staring hard at us

"Call me play music sir??" I asked gently

"Sure why not" he replied rather not too forced

šŸŽ¶forever by gyakiešŸŽ¶ playing

šŸŽµmy mind dey for u šŸŽµ

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
