Chapter 1 The Job
Niki was always the master of her own universe. Being orphaned at 15 she learned quickly that she needed to make decisions for herself. That she had to be in control of everything. This would be the only way she would make a better life for herself. She very quickly found her footing in the world. She graduated a year early from high school and quickly started working on her career.
Deciding to go to start her business after she graduated at 24 with her MBA and a Bachelor's degree in information technology, she quickly made a name for herself. Now the CEO of one of the worlds most advanced technology companies in its fields Guardian Angels Incorporated
Cyber security was one of the biggest sectors of GAI. Niki was working on one of the biggest contracts of her career. One that could make or break her cyber security sector and open up a whole new world of investors and clients. She was coming up with a whole new coding program that could detect and locate hackers in real time even when using a VPN or proxy server. To think she was going to be working with the allusive General Matt Strong.
The 36 year old 4 star General has made a name for himself. No wife, no kids, and never revealed much information about himself or his life. She learned nothing in an attempt to get some background on the man she was to impress to get this contract. She couldn't find anything useful. In the Army straight out of high school moved up fairly quickly in the ranks and now a four star general in charge of strengthening the military's cyber defenses.
Four more hours to prep for the big meeting. Niki always sat in on new client meetings for the sake of making sure she secured the client, but this was the big fish. She had to make sure this meeting went smoothly.
