Mafia's Star Chapter 1 Aarav's stunt

A man in his mid twenties with chocolate brown eyes, perfect yet messy hairs, perfect jawline, six feet height with a perfect body resembling greek god looking dashing as ever is looking out of the window of his private jet along with his friends who were unusually silent from yesterday's happenings.

After having enough silence, the Greek god himself asked his friends "what's wrong with you guys? Why are you all so silent?" to which they gave him a pointed look making him sigh.

"Aarav what's running in your mind? What are you thinking now? We are just concerned about you and you know that too" said Ishaan, Aarav's best friend.

"I know Ishaan you guys are concerned about me but what about the lives that were going to be ended yesterday if I didn't go there on time?" Aarav said frustratingly.

Charlie, his one of the best friends, kept her hand on his shoulder making him look up and asked "we understand that you went to save a lot of people but what about you Aarv? Didn't you think about yourself, us, uncle, aunty, anyone?"

"When we take an oath to protect everyone who is in trouble and is innocent, it's our responsibility to save them, Charlie," said Aarav face palming.

Charlie settled beside him and said calmly "if you wanted to save them, you have to be alive too" which confused him.

"What do you mean?" Aarav asked.

"See, you went to save them, it's okay, you went alone, that's fine too even though we are angry. But you went there without any protection. If you want to save other innocents, you have to be alive for tomorrow right?" Charle said to which he realised she was right.

"I'm sorry guys. I was just numb when I got to know that a bomb blast was going to happen there and I didn't think of anything else and just went there. I know I should have taken our men or strong guns but I thought it would be fine." Aarav said feeling guilty.

"Everything is fine now. So now explain what exactly happened yesterday?" asked Arjun, another friend of Aarav.

"Okay listen" Aarav started saying what happened yesterday after taking a deep breath.

FLASHBACK : [ in third person's pov]

After the most awaiting concert of the world famous band "five flamingos", Aarav, the lead singer and guitarist of the band came to the green room to change himself and get back home when his second mobile which he uses for his Mafia work pinged showing a message from his most trusted guard "Roy" and that blew his mind off.

The message read "A blast is going to happen in 2 hours at Phoenix mall and even the bomb planters are hiding there to blast it at the right time."

He just took his gun from his suitcase and loaded it with bullets before replying to Roy with an okay and wore a mask so that no one can recognise him. He changed his outfit fastly to escape from the guards.

He came out of the concert hall from the back of the green room carefully and took a random bike from the parking lot which had a key to it and started driving towards the mall. It takes one and half an hour to reach there.

Aarav took a bluetooth and fixed it in his ear and connected to Roy still driving towards the mall at jet speed.

"Roy, how many guards are with you?" Aarav asked the moment Roy picked up the call.

"I have two teams of twenty members with me sir." Roy replied.

"Okay ask them to dress in casuals and go inside the mall and inform customers carefully without letting the bomb planters know and ask them to get out of the mall" Aarav instructed.

"Okay sir." Roy nodded.

"And clear all the crowd around the mall slowly and if needed call a few more teams too. but make sure bomb planters won't get suspicious about anything" Aarav warned dangerously.

"Okay sir" Roy said confidently. If its been any other guard, they would have shivered at Aarav's cold tone but Roy knows everything about Aarav and he knows Aarav won't do anything wrong. He is the closest among all.

Aarav cut the call and continued driving. Here at the concert, Arjun, Ishaan, Charlie and Aadhya are getting tensed about sudden missing of Aarav and even the crowd is requesting for a group picture.

In one hour, Aarav reached the mall and parked a bit away from it so that no one would get in trouble. He connected the call to Roy again and said "I'm a few meters away from the mall." to which Roy replied with an okay.

Soon, Roy came and found Aarav who was in his casuals and wearing a mask.

"Yes sir" Roy said not loudly, taking care no one listens to them. "How many people are there, Roy?" Asked Aarav looking around to see the crowd slowly getting cleared.

He smiled at his Caring team. "We have seen ten guys sir. One with the turban is having the remote. We didn't do anything because we didn't inform you and also we don't know if someone pressed the button after seeing us" replied Roy to which Aarav nodded with a solemn face.

"Clear the crowd in ten mins and ask the manager to push them soon saying the time's up for the day" said Aarav loading his gun and setting it in his back pocket and taking the spare gun from his shoe side. Roy nodded and was about to go when Aarav called again and said "get me some sharp nylon wires that are strong enough to slice their necks in ten minutes" said Aarav to which Roy nodded.

"Wait. I will myself talk with the manager you leave." Aarav said and started going after removing his mask and fixing the fake beard and moustache he ordered from Roy.

Aarav entered the mall and went to men's wear and acted as if taking something and asked a sales person the cabin of the manager and after knowing that he was there, he went inside the cabin.

Manager was talking to someone on mobile when Aarav entered startling him.

"Hello mister, who are you? How the hell did you enter inside without my permission? Don't you know the basic manners?" Manager started blabbering, making Aarav irritated who took his gun from his back pocket and aimed it on Manager's forehead making him stop his mouth.

"Yes sir, what can I do for you?" asked the manager politely, making Aarav chuckle. "All you have to do is to send your customers away and close the mall in..." Aarav continued and looked at his watch before saying "ten minutes."

Manager looked at him with wide eyes. "Just because you have a gun, don't think that I will play the way you want to. If I want, I can get more guns than you. And-" Manager was about to continue when his landline on the table rang and he looked at it.

"Pick up the call, you won't lose anything by picking it up" Aarav smirked and the manager got confused but picked it up anyway. Listening to the other side of the person, his face lost all of its colours and he almost resembles a scared chameleon with wide eyes.

"Yes sir" he said before cutting the call. "Any thing left to say manager sir?" asked Aarav sarcastically and manager nodded his head in no vigorously.

"So?" Aarav said and the manager continued "Ten mins and everything will be done sir. You please sit here, I will order a cool drink for you" said the manager, who is now scared to his wits.

Nodding his head, Aarav removed his gun from the manager and manager went out but instead of making everyone go away, he locked Aarav from outside and said through landline when Aarav picked it up "Sir this room is soundproof and you are locked. Now do whatever you want."

Manager went away smirking happily on his success and was going to meet the owner before handing Aarav to the police. Aarav inside was shocked. He didn't expect this from that cunning manager.

His eyes turned red in anger, rage and annoyance. He went to the door and banged it but the door was too hard. Here, three of the bomb planters were just in front of the Manager's room who dragged the manager after spraying chloroform.

They smirked after listening to the banging of the door and went out without giving two hoots to it. Aarav took his mobile to call Roy but then remembered he sent Roy to get Nylon threads and it takes twenty minutes minimum for him to buy them and come to the Manager's room.

He thought of calling Charlie or Aadhya and took his mobile out and switched it on only to find "NO SIGNAL" and cursed under his breath. He isn't scared for himself but for the people.

He knows only half an hour is left for the bomb blast and if he goes out before ten minutes, it's impossible to send everyone out or announce it now itself as they can blast it now too if they knew that their plan got leaked.

HONEY MULLINS

Six years ago, I was a naive girl sold by my father to the powerful Sanders estate, only to be tossed onto the streets after a brutal assault they labeled "marital infidelity." I fled the country pregnant and broken, hiding from the shadow of a husband I had never even met. Now, I've returned to New York with my triplets to sign the final divorce papers and disappear forever. But Archibald Sanders-the man I was told was a crippled recluse-intercepted us with the cold precision of a predator. He didn't see the woman his family destroyed; he saw a gold-digger who had shamed his name. His security team hunted us to a grimy motel, using tactical force to snatch my children away and drag me to his glass-walled empire. In his office, he loomed over me, demanding a DNA test and threatening to throw me in prison while my babies were lost to the foster system. He was convinced I'd cheated, yet he stared at my sons with a haunting confusion, unable to ignore the stormy blue eyes that were a perfect mirror of his own. I stood there, paralyzed by his scent-the sharp tang of rain and expensive leather that triggered the icy dread of my worst nightmares. How could he accuse me of betrayal when he felt exactly like the monster who had shattered my life in that dark hotel room? "I'll sign anything," I sobbed, "just give me my kids." But the game changed when my five-year-old son hacked the tower's security, holding the skyscraper hostage to save me. In the chaos, a fragile, silent boy-Archibald's secret son-wandered into the room and reached for me as if I were his missing soul. Archibald's face turned to stone as he tore up the agreement and locked the doors. "Until I find out why my son is looking at you like that," he growled, "you aren't going anywhere."

Landslide

My bank account showed exactly $42.18, and my student loan notifications were flashing red. I lived in a sweltering Queens apartment with my Aunt Lydia, where the air was thick with the smell of stale frying oil and the constant threat of being homeless. Lydia handed me a grainy photo of a man twice my age and told me she had already "sold" me to him. He was a dry cleaner looking for a wife, and in exchange for my hand, he would pay off her credit cards and my debt. If I didn't show up for the date that night, my boxes would be on the curb by midnight. I arrived at the cafe in a state of panic, my selective mutism making it impossible to even breathe. In the crowded room, I accidentally sat at the wrong table. Instead of the man from the photo, I found myself facing Gerhard Holcomb—the cold, terrifyingly handsome billionaire whose family owned the very museum where I worked. He didn't send me away; instead, he studied my trembling hands and offered me a different deal: a two-year contract marriage, a two-million-dollar payout, and a strict clause forbidding any children. I signed the papers and moved into his Park Avenue penthouse, thinking I was finally safe. But when I went back to the old apartment to retrieve the only memento of my dead parents, Lydia lashed out, leaving me bleeding from a head wound. Gerhard’s retaliation was absolute—he had her arrested and her building foreclosed on within hours, claiming he was simply "protecting his assets." As I recovered in his silent, glass-walled home, I saw a call from a famous socialite flash on his phone, and a cold truth settled in my gut. I wasn't just a wife; I was a placeholder, a silent shield used to fend off the women from his past. I looked at the massive pink diamond on my finger and realized the silence I had lived in my whole life was about to become my most expensive prison. I had traded a life of poverty for a high-stakes game of shadows, and now I had to survive the man who claimed to own me.

Betrayed Bride: Claimed By The Brother

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.

SHANA GRAY

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.
