Gotcha!"
The twenty year old girl behind the cashier's counter snapped grabbing the middle aged man who had come to make the payment by the hand.
She stiffened her expression, perhaps to look more professional and fearful but in summary she was cute .
She was Yang Sunni by name. She had a petite body structure which prevented her from being tall. She was a bit average in height but appearance would say she was younger than her age.
"Hey! what's wrong with you?!" The man who was held by the hand inquired. His eyes widened in shock.
"Tell that to the cops when you're in jail" She smirked.
Working part time a restaurant was Sunni's way of helping out herself and her family in the little way she could.
Luckily, she was employed in this not so famous restaurant as a cashier. It was a so-so job for her although it wasn't her dream job. It still paid nicely.
At the very moment, it was a bit too obvious that attention had been grabbed to the cashing counter but Sunni cared less. She believed she had caught the criminal!
With the poor man struggling to get out of the young girl's grip, Sunni held him tightly "You're going no where !" she snapped again.
Not long, the manager was out to inspect what was actually happening.
He was a man dressed in black suit and a red neck tie. He seemed to be in his late sixties.
"What's going on here?" He demanded.
"Sir....what's this embarrassment all about? How can your worker embarrass me like this?! " The middle aged man demanded.
The manager's questioning gaze fell on Sunni who mad no effort to smile. She had to keep up the face!
"Mr. Manager...don't be fooled by this criminals excuses...as a matter of fact....I can tell he's a thief!" Sunni said with a firm nod...she believed this was going so well.
"What? who are you calling a thief? Have you no respect for customers at all?" The man was getting annoyed.
"Respect my foot! Who would even accept such a man in his mist?!"
"Enough of this!" The manager interrupted. "Miss yang....tell me what's this all about" he demanded.
Sunni smiled for a while, finally, the opportunity to present her case had arrived! She cleared her throat finally letting go of the man's hand.
"I'm glad you asked.... Well this man over here...Is actually the run away robber that the police are after!"
They went mute staring at her.
"What the hell is that?" The manager demanded.
"Manager....don't you watch TV? Haven't you heard of the robber who robbed the Shun Bank a week ago and the police are after him....Judging from my observation, this is him" Sunni concluded.
"Are you insane? How can I be him? The man demanded, frustrated.
"Don't try to fool me! I'm smarter then you think...I've been observing you for long now....you act strange and I've even followed you home to find out that you live alone...you might be masked when committing crimes...but I can see beyond the mask"
"Miss yang! Stop this! " He turned to the man "mister....I'm sorry " He apologized.
"Don't apologize....he's a criminal!" Sunni persisted as the manager gave him a cold stare.
Just then , her phone rang as she picked the call "Hi Hana....don't disturb me, I'm in the middle of something" She said.
"Hey Sunni ! I have something about the case of the Run away robber you were following " The other girl from the other end if the line said.
"Yeah yeah...I know, I've already caught him and I'm cracking the case really well" she said " So stop disturbing me"
"But He had already been caught over an hour ago..."
Sunni's face slowly changed from a confident look to a shock and stiffened one . "What?"
"I called to tell you because right now they're at the scene...the old city warehouse and It's the MI Detective agency were the team who caught him! Your dream agency!"
Sunni didn't want to hear more as she slowly cut the line and looked at the two men who had their eyes furiously fixed on her. OMG her phone was in speak out!
She smiled "eh.... What do you know....the case has been solved..... Sorry....for.....this " she wished the floor could open and draw her in!
"Sorry Mister"The manager apologized to the man who angrily left and then to Sunni " Come to my office."
Sunni regretted following him to the office because on going there , all she got was a yell.
"You're fired! Go and never return!"
she had seen that one coming....once again....she had lost a job.
Yang Sunni took a cab, obviously heading to the scene her friend had told her off.
She sighed looking out the car's window.... She didn't know how to feel about being fired.
Meet 'Yang Sunni' Your normal twenty year old teenager who like everyone else had a dream...and her problems.
She couldn't say for sure when it was started but she knew that ever since she was young, she had always had this desire and dream of becoming a detective.
She loved spending her time solving cases and seeing life from a very different side. This was a hobby if hers that she wanted to make into reality but she couldn't....
All efforts she made to become a better detective were to no avail. Because any agency she apply to to join would always turn her down with the view that she was no good. And was poor at detecting.
But she never let this make her give up, she still persisted on investigating and applying to any agency she could.
Amongst all these agencies were MI, her dream agency. For a strange reason she had loved this agency. Logically because they were the best in the country and had professional teams. Getting into it would be a dream come true!
The cab pulled over few distance away from the old city warehouse as she got out. Looking ahead, she saw lots of people who had come to watch was going on as she approached looking for Hana.
"Yang Sunni"
Sunni turned to see her friend run up to her. She was same height as her and body stature.
Unlike Sunni who had a long black curly hair, she she had a long blonde curly hair.
"What took you so long?" Hana inquired.
Sunni frowned.." I lost my job."
Hana sighed with a smile " Let me guess...you accused a man of being the run away robber and caused a scene...."
Sunni shrugged "But I was sure he was the run away robber....his eyes....everything was in tact "
"Cheer up...I'll help you find a new job...but now...I'm gonna keep promise of bringing you to meet your dream team" Hana said.
After ruining Sunni's collection of best Detective's of the century three months ago, Hana had promised to get her close to her dream team ( MI agency )
Sunni rolled her eyes "Whatever...where are they?" She asked looking around.
"Let's hurry up...they're about leaving" Hana grabbed Sunni by her hand and lead her off.
They stopped at a spot where people were. Looking ahead, there was a black van with white stripes. The logo and name of MI agency was on it.
"Woah...it's really them!" Sunni squeaked excitedly. "How do we get closer?"
Hana shrugged "Don't know"
Sunni frowned "What's the pointbof coming?"
Just as they admired from behind, someone came from behind and without looking bumped into Hana. She fell on the floor.
"Hana! Are you okey?!" Sunni quickly bent to help her friend up "Are you okey?"
She nodded "I'm fine " she said.
Annoyed, Sunni turned to the man who had simply walked pass without turning to say sorry .
She could see his back. He was wearing a plain black overcoat and jean trousers.
"Hey! Stupid!" She called.
The man stopped.
