My heart racing and my breathe escaping from my lungs forcefully, I kept on running back towards the camp as a ferocious beast was on my tail to extinguish my life. I had no clear view of the face of the beast but I kept on running for my dear life. suddenly on the race I had no sound from the thick forest and no more noise, no trace of the beast. Probably it has lost track of me and after a long chase gave up on me and on having me as his meal. but little did I know that I was in Oblivion. Suddenly I started hearing the sound of the dry leaves rustling and the sound kept coming closer and closer to me. I started walking with my face still facing forward trying to survey what was chasing me but I saw nothing. Unknowingly I hit my leg to a dry log which was laid bare on the foot path of the forest and which caused me to collapse on the floor. As soon as I fell on the ground,I saw a black and mickle beast looking like an animal in the shadows. It was four legged and furry. Suddenly it made a loud cry facing the sky and then it started coming walking towards me and all of a sudden it increased in pace. I Was on the ground trying to get off the floor but it seemed impossible due to the pain that came with my hurting leg. I was crawling backwards and surfing the ground and environment for a weapon to at least defend myself with. Before I knew it the beast was running towards me now more fiercely and it seemed I was juxtaposed with life and death. I managed to stand up from the ground seeing danger coming directly at me. On standing up I started running still limping and i heard the beast coming at me and with a fearful sound it made. I knew it was closer and on turning to see where it was and how far it reaching seeing I was very closer to the camp. On turning I was met when the the beast bounced on me and it's saliva was all over. It got hold of my shirt an tore it to shred, tears dripping down my face and my heart skipping numerous beats I tried fighting back and I was waiting for help hopefully someone among my squad would come to my aid. Now the beast being on top of me gave me the chance to have a clearer and vividly look of it. I thought it was a beast but I was wrong. I can't really comprehend what it is because it's looking like am animal, I thought I was a hyena but no this isn't an hyena. I knew what it was but forgot what it was called. My friends came out of the tent and I saw flashes of Torchlight radiating towards my direction so i knew help was nigh. On seeing that help was close the beast wailed a loud cry and then bit me on my right arm and it ran away leaving me subconscious. My eyes kept rolling and trying to close but I tried to keep it open so I can get help but the pain of the bite was strong and vicious and it seemed some kind of poison came with it....

I think I should take a recap and take a walk back the memory lane so we would know how I got to this point and what brought me to a forest. Or better still i think an introduction would be more relevant at first.

My name is Jackson McDonald and I am eighteen years old and would nineteen in the next ten days. My Dad is a cop and I lost my mom right when I was given birth to. I have no visible clue of how she looks but I just know from pictures I see of her given Me by my Dad. He basically keeps talking about how and how nice a woman she was and that I am just a lot like her. Now I think that's a lot of my biography now back to the scary scene. It is a weekend and I went on camping with my friends just to have a little bit of fun. I went together with my best friends ( Ashley, Hudson and Henry) and Hudson came along with his brother who came along with his girlfriend. Henry on the other hand invites the girl he really liked but was unable to express how he feels about. Oops don't get me wrong I also am really in love with my Cinderella but just like Henry am shy and ashamed of how to tell her. How would she react when I tell her? And stuffs like that clouded my thinking and so I was looking for the right way to create a perfect momentum. Ashley comes along with her friend Kimberly. Aha Kimberly Is actually the girl am really mad about but couldn't approach but planned to talk to her and tell her how I feel but I think that would happen when I turn nineteen cause at this point I have no audacity. Enough of the intro-intro crap and back to the camping.

" So Henry when are you going to tell Clara about your feelings for her. Eish you are such a scaredy pants." I said to Henry who came to my tent telling me about how Clara looked today.

" Huh? You are the least and wrong person to call me a scaredy pants. Anyways I think I am going to tell her how I feel about her tonight no matter what. The worst she could say to me after I tell her is either she says yes to me or tell me she is not interested and I would feel better that way" said Henry who is seeming really serious about really telling Clara about his feeling of love towards. Anyways that would be nice if it really happens today and he doesn't runaway as he usually does at the last minute. I walked up to him and tapped him on his shoulder jovially with a smile on my face.

" That would be nice but I just hope you don't runaway this time like you always do at the last minute scaredy pants." I said and burst into laughter hurting my ribs. He gives me a punch jokingly I must still hurts though.

" I do not blame you scallywag, but I know this time I have got the guts needed to tell how I feel and I sure am going to surprise all of you this time around. " He said as he leaves my tent with a shyly smile on his face. I returned back to my stuffs I was trying to arrange since we just came camping In the Sequoia park.

It was night time so we came outside to have some fun and we made a fight from dry logs and we sat round it drinking, brewing and chit chatting amongst each other. My eyes was still on Kimberly and marvelling at how beautiful she is. She has nicely straight dark hair that was always moisturized. Long pointed nose and a bright face to give a magnificent ambiance wherever she goes to. I really loved the nice short white gown she wore this night. Some way into the drunkenness, we decided to play a truth or dare game ignited by myself.

" So guys are you ready for the truth or dare fun filled game?" I asked with a loud voice I would say I am this cheerful due to the influence of the alcohol. They replied in a chorus form also shouting cheerful voice and tone.

"Yes!!!!!!!!! " They said. I took one of the beer bottles lying around so I could spin and ask them question so it would be somehow fair and randomly done. I went through with the first spin and the opening of the bottle was directly pointing at Hudson and Everyone started chanting.

" Hudson!! Hudson!! Hudson!!" I on the other hand knew the perfect question to ask him if he eventually chose truth.

" So Hudson what would be your choice, Truth or Dare?" I asked Hudson who looked at me for awhile before saying.

" I would ummm..... Since am not a chicken and want to make his more interesting I would go for Dare" he said portraying some boldness. I on the other hand still had a perfect dare for him. I think my love story introduction was short because I didn't talk about Hudson's love life. Now Hudson as well really liked Ashley a lot though he was a little better than us because he told her but she turned him down saying they are friends and some crappy excuses I couldn't comprehend. Nonetheless, the past weeks Hudson has been telling me hat she has been giving him some signals I don't know why signals though but he said probably she has some love affection for him so I think this the right opportunity to test their love.

"Okay then, so Hudson pick out any of the girls here and give her a kiss on the lips" I said having a mischievous smile on my face, I sure am a master planner. emotions flared in the air as everyone just smiling and laughing waiting to see what Hudson's action would be. I stood laughing and sipping my bottle of beer. Ashley on the other hand just sat on the floor besides my adorable Kimberly, she was motionless and no particular emotions enveloped her face so I was kinda of confused if she was happy or rather upset. Anyways what do I care the worst that could happen is she would refuse him and then Hudson will get his answer one more time. He walks slowly to her and before he could get close to her she poured a drink in a cup and on one gulp she drained it meaning she wasn't interested in the dare given to Hudson and so didn't want him to kiss her. Everyone was one quiet as Hudson stood just like that with sorrow in his heart and mind be rejected the second time. He walked back to his seat, and I was about spinning again but I was so pressed I really needed to ease myself and so I asked Henry to take the lead as I went to ease myself. I went into the trees and I was about easing myself when I heard a weird sound coming from the left part close to me. I thought it was just some bird but the sound got more extreme and aggressive I had to follow up with what was happening. As I went and would think I was closer to the sound the farther the sound went more deeper in the forest. I followed up to when sudden I saw some far shadow of an animal-like creature. And bringing my phone out of my pocket I tried turning on the Torchlight and directing the rays of the light to the creature, what I saw was bizarre and supernatural, I stood still and frozen.....
