I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. Chapter 1

Shantelle Point of view

"Ma'am Shantelle, your parents are calling you downstairs." said one of our helpers here in our house.

"Next time." I answered.

"I'll help you." he said then he took my one suitcase that only had things in it.

"Alright, I'll go downstairs first." he said then I nodded so he pulled my suitcase out of my room.

When I finished fixing myself, I immediately took my bag and slung it over my shoulder, then left my room and went downstairs.

"Good morning mom, dad." I said to them with a smile.

"Good morning too sweetheart." said daddy too.

"Good morning, baby. So let's go?" mom asked me so I nodded, so we went out of our house.

"Take care to the both of you." dad said to mom and dad.

I nodded then kissed my dad on the cheek and he also kissed me on my forehead then he hugged me.

"Bye daddy." I said smiling as I got into the car.

"See you later, wifey." dad said to mom then they kissed before mom got into the car.

"Let's go to Psycho university, man Bert." Mom said to our driver.

"Yes, ma'am." he answered then started to express himself.

Some time passed and the car we were riding in stopped so I looked outside.

"We're here." the driver said so I looked at him and mom.

"Is it creepy here, mom?" I asked.

"It's okay, baby. You're safe with him," mom said.

"Him? Who's that." I asked.

"Never mind, baby girl. Just obey what I and your daddy said, okay?" Mom said so I just nodded.

"Let's go outside." Mom said so we got out of the car.

"Mr. Bert can you carry her things to her dorm?" Mom asked Bert.

"Yes ma'am." Manong Bert replied to mom then took my big suitcase from the car.

"Let's go." Mom said so I just followed her.

CHAMELLE's (mom of Shantelle) Point of view

"Good bye my one and only baby girl, take care of your self okay?" I said to my daughter then I hugged her and kissed her on the cheek.

"Yes mom babye, I love you." he said with a smile so I smiled too.

"Always remember that's me and your daddy is love you so much, bye." I said to him and he nodded so I left that school.

"Ma'am, where are we going?" Bert asked.

"We're going home Bert." I said and took my phone and called someone.

"Hello?" I said when the person I called answered his phone.

"(Aunt Chamelle?)" he asked on the other line.

"Yeah, it's me. I just want you to know that's my daughter is in your university. And I want you to protect her no matter what happens, it's that clear?" I said to him.

"(Okay, just send her picture to me and I'll do my best to protect her.)" he said on the other line then he ended the call so he sent him the photo of my daughter.

"I hope I did the right thing to save my only daughter from harm" I said in my mind.

Shantelle's Point of view

I woke up early to prepare myself because I have work tomorrow at 7:30am.

Btw, I already have my uniforms and things and my schedule because mom and I took it yesterday and the dean of this university gave it to me right away.

Can I call you baby

I quickly grabbed my phone from the bed because it rang signaling that someone had called.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hi baby girl good morning, are you done eating your breakfast?" my mom asked from another line.

"Morning too mom, yes it's over." I answered.

"(Okay that's good, I'll just remind you that it's me and your daddy will be back on U.K for something important.)" mom said.

"Okay mom take care of the both of you, miss you and I love you." I said with a smile.

"(I love you too my baby girl, take care of your self and please don't come with someone you don't know Okay?)" mom said in their line.

"Yes mom." (Okay good bye.)"

When mom and I finished talking, I immediately took my bag and fixed the uniform I was wearing, then took out my I.D and went out of the dorm to find my room which side it was in this vast university.

"Hi." I said smiling to the woman in front of me now.

"Hello, do you need something?" he asked me.

"Ahmm.... I need your help." I answered and smiled.

"What kind of help?" he asked in surprise.

"Where can I see this building?" I asked him and I showed him my schedule that Dean gave me.

"Oh, so you're the new student here at the university." he said then nodded.

"Come with me, let's go to class, anyway I'm Ashelyn Gevero Ash for short." he introduced me so I just nodded.

"Let's go?" I asked him and he nodded so I went with him.

"Kindly introduce your self, miss." said our adviser when Ash and I entered our room.

I nodded then went to the front to introduce myself.

"Hi everyone I'm Shantelle Sandoval 18 years of age." I introduced myself to them.

"Ok take your seat." said our teacher so I went to my seat and sat down.
