Fated. Tragic. Heartbreaks. Those are exactly the feelings that I hated ever since until I grew up as a young lady now. Brave and Confidence; they always told me that they were intimidated by me when I looked into their eyes. "I know who you are, the real you in there," I said and pointed to her heart, with a smirk on my face, and walked away. Chills. Hate. Revenge. "Do you still want to love me even if I told you that I can read someone’s past? Your tragic past?" I asked him and he looked into my eyes which made me more curious about the darkness within. "Samantha," he uttered. Hated me for being like this, turns out that it is my strength towards the people who want to hurt me but now, I don't think that this will help me at all. Not this time, I don't want to hurt the person that I love. A curse is still a curse, and I will fight not to end this as anyone felt before. Fated. Tragic. Heartbreaks. Those are the feelings that I might not consider to be one of mine; Even if it hurts inside.

Chapter 1 One

Stormy night, the wind blows harder than I expected. It hit my face and that made my hair dance while I was looking at the far side of the island. The Island that is always seen in my dreams. I was still glancing as I heard how the wind blew, the dried leaves went closer to me and that is the exact time that I stepped my foot on the ground and tried to go straight forward.

"Wait, where am I going? Samantha?" Weird but, I can sense that this is only a dream. I am now looking at myself, looking at the way she didn't know where to go.

"Samantha! Get out of that dream right now!" I told myself and even though I knew she couldn't hear me, I did my best to shout and warn her, but my eyes were fixed on something.

Something that I didn't know was inside of that house. I looked straight ahead and tried to remember everything that I can remember from what I saw when I was a child.

"This can't be. I didn't even know where it was, but it is still in my mind like I knew it a long time ago," I uttered and was still observing how I would get there inside of that abandoned house while the wind and the night were full of thunder and lightning. It makes me shiver. As I went in front of that house, step by step, I got a severe headache.

"Ouch!" I expressed how it felt and knelt on the ground while still trying to open my eyes and look at where my other self is, but as I looked at her, it made me so shocked.

My other self is looking at me. With her hair blowing in the wind and how wet it was because of the rain, I can still see my straight face.

"Do-do you see me?" I asked while stuttering and still looking at her and for a second she gave me a smirk that made me blink twice.

"This can't be!" I murmured and tried to escape the place while my eyes were fixed on her.

"Shocked to see me?" My other self stated that I was more frightened of her. What am I doing? Why am I crawling while looking at her?

Why do my knees tremble in fear like I am not looking at myself?

Am I a monster?

"Yes, you are," my other self stated, as she could hear everything that I am stating right now.

"Who the freaking hell are you!" I started and shouted while she let out her crazy laugh that made my heart beat faster.

"I am you! I am you, Sam! I am you, Samantha! Watch yourself, you will see me in other ways."

I open my eyes as I am gasping for air, looking at the white ceiling of my bedroom. I lean towards the headboard of my bed and look at the clock. It is still three in the morning and this is exactly the seventh time that I have woken up at this hour.

I opened the lights and started to clean my bed. I don't want to sleep again if that is the dream that I am constantly dreaming of. I let out a deep sigh and tried to get myself together. I slapped myself a bit and looked in the mirror. I observe my features and hold my cheeks.

"Wrap yourself up, Samantha. That is very unusual," I said to myself and raised one eyebrow.

"You are not weak, you are strong. Don't be too cowardly, you are fighting against-," I cut my words and looked at my eyes that were reflecting in the mirror.

"Yourself," I said, and put my hands on my hair, and pulled it.

"Catch it," I murmured and opened my door and that made me freeze for a moment.

"Catch what?" she asked me while still trying to open her eyes, and I looked at her bed beside mine and that is the time that I didn't know that she was awake. She's not even on her bed.

"Where did you go?" I asked her.

"What do you mean? I just go to the bathroom. Why is there something wrong again?" she asked me and I crossed my arms.

"Nothing, go back to sleep silly girl," I stared at her and she fixed her glasses and her messy hair. She's still rubbing her eyes when she looks at me when she passes by the doorway.

"Are you sure?" she asked me and I leaned in the doorway.

"Of course, I am very sure," I stated and gave her an assured smile. I went down the stairs and went to the kitchen and still think of my dreams. It is still clear in my mind. Usually, those kinds of dreams stay with me forever.

"Creepy aren't I?" I stated to myself while writing those in my journal. I want to make sure that those dreams are going to be remembered when I know exactly what is happening to me. "Sam!" I heard Lara's voice again.

"Why?" I looked at her walking down the stairs and coming to me in the kitchen.

"I know what's happening when you are writing in that notebook," she said to me while combing her curly hair.

"What do you mean Lara?" I asked her and tried to ignore anything that she would say.

"You dreamed again?" She asked me and I looked at her like she had nothing to do with that stuff, but she gave me back a state that would lead me to tell her everything again. I rolled my eyes and sighed. I looked back at her and she was now ready to hear everything.

"What if that is connected to your past?" she stared at me and smirked.

"What do you mean? Mom didn't tell me anything creepy in our family history. Samantha Ventura, you are the heir of the company and you are still one of the successors of your Mom and Dad's company and businesses. Now tell me, how will they be supposed to tell those kinds of stories when it will be the one that can ruin your company's name?" she let her butt in again.
