Brugh
A loud knock on the door caught the attention of the people in the room. Two people who were on the bed then turned around in surprise. Suddenly, they had a reflex to pick up the clothes and immediately put them on.
Meanwhile, a girl with dark-brown hair and a casual dress looked down at the scene in front of her in disbelief. She did not say anything. Just stood there, in front of the doorway with a blank stare. Even her tears seemed unable to flow.
All she felt right now was a feeling of emptiness. Her tiny body seemed to have no weight and soared into the sky. Shock after shock given by a man can only shake her body.
"Freya. Honey, I can explain it!" he said with a deathly pale face.
The girl named Freya did not say anything. Her droopy eyes stared right into her husband's eyes. Her weak lips could not utter a word. All she can do was mumbled the question "Why?" which is not even heard by the man at all.
With a heartbreaking, she let go of her husband's grip. Then she walked unsteadily out of the house. The husband's voice and body trying to hold it in felt like a passing wind.
"Damian, why don't you take care of my sister first?"
That was more or less the first sentence Freya said after a while. For some reason, that sentence made Damian a little annoyed. He unconsciously threw a slap towards his wife. Making the body that was not having energy immediately fall limp on the sofa.
The sound of a thud and a loud squeak from the table that was shifted by the slap filled the silence between them. For a while, Freya and Damian were still in their respective positions. Until a wry smile appeared on the girl's face.
She nodded. As if she had understood something. The slap from her husband made her realize what was going on. This time, tears rolled down her cheeks. Initially, only one or two drops ended up becoming a pattern that she could not help.
The athletic man then realized what he had done. He quickly walked over to the sofa. Wanted to make sure his wife was okay.
"Honey, are you all right?" he asked with a worried expression.
The beautiful girl turned around. "Damian, will you answer one of my questions?"
"Of course, I will answer any of your questions," the man in front of her nodded quickly.
"Why do you hurt my heart?" she said with a shaken voice.
Not a lot of words indeed. However, the man's mouth felt locked.
"Listen, honey. I apologize. I-" before he finishes his words, he shut up his mouth just to see someone in from of him smiling.
Freya smiled blandly. She pushed her husband's body. From the corner of her eye glanced toward their room. There, a woman with long hair with a very beautiful face stood leaning against the door and watching the show in front of her flatly.
A second later, Freya dashed towards the exit accompanied by a few blocks Damian. Which of course is certain that it will not be useful at all. The woman whose heart had been broken because of the betrayal by the two people she loved the most then ran through the heavy rain.
She looks at the sky and does not even know when the lightning started. The bright light caused by the loud noise gave a little light for her to be able to see the street. With the heavy rain that fell, honestly she had a little trouble seeing the road with very dim lights.
Her footsteps continued to walk away from a golden house that stood majestically. Sometimes, she looked back. Hoping that maybe there will be a tone after her. However, nothing. She just walks alone without anyone caring.
"Why did all this have to happen to me?" she shouted through the rain. Made a few drops of water inevitably go down his throat.
She does not know why the atmosphere at night tends to be quiet. The magnificent houses that she passed also seemed so quiet. Some of the barkings of dogs could only be heard faintly among the torrential rain and thunder. Freya's mind went blank. She tugged at her white dress which was already wet with water with difficulty.
After walking for quite a while, she managed to get out of the residential neighborhood. The security guard at the gate was slightly surprised to see a woman in a white dress who emerged from the darkness through the rush of crying from the sky.
"Mrs. Dassanowsky, your presence really surprised me. What makes you walk like this on a fairly dark night? Where is your servant?"
Freya just glanced at the security officer. Her face was pale from the cold and she did not say anything. She continued to walk away without paying attention to what the security was shouting. He had tried to prevent her from leaving. However, the woman pushed him violently instead. The security immediately returned to the post and called Dassanowsky's House.
After leaving the residential neighborhood, Freya then walked along the highway. Every now and then you see a driver who stops just to tease or ask how he is doing. However, the girl remained indifferent and did not care. Her eyes look at the street. Not too many people around here. From the other side of the road, she could see an old lady with her dog. She gasps an air and continues to walk.
"Shit," she hissed as the high heels she was wearing started hurting her legs.
She bent down to remove the high heels. From a distance, she saw a taxi approaching. She quickly waved her hand and stopped the taxi.
"Good evening beautiful lady. Where should I take you, ma'am?" asked the driver when Freya was properly seated in the back seat.
"Whatever? As long as you get out of here!" she hissed coldly.
