"Haven't you made breakfast yet?" The beta screamed angrilly at me.

"I just finished it Beta, I simply want to put the plates out" I answered shakily.

"Fine! We'll be waiting" he stated before storming off.

'What's his problem? He always acts like that towards us!' My wolf Lilac stated in my head.

'You comprehend it's because we're the only omega. You suppose humans would be excited to eventually have one in the pack, however no they wanted to make certain I followed the usual function of servant' I answered to Lilac.

'We just have to preserve out for our mate, with any luck he is from a distinct pack' Lilac sighed.

'Well there is a ball that we have to prepare dinner for tomorrow... possibly there....' I thought.

I grabbed the dishes and raced to set them out. I usually did the food buffet style due to the fact I did not have help,so it used to be less difficult this way. Usually the Alpha is the one asking about breakfast however he is on some sort of day out till the ball tomorrow.

'At least Alpha is nicer than that jerk' Lilac huffed.

'He'll be again tomorrow' I responded to her with a smirk.

The pack participants at breakfast began inserting meals on their plates. I waited and watched, if I was once fortunate there would be leftovers so I would genuinely get to devour this morning.... Usually the pack participants insisted that true food mustn't be wasted on anybody of such a low rank and gave me the scraps from their plates. As a end result of this I was once a lot thinner than I need to be, seeing that they usually tried not to depart me anything... even even though I started out making larger portions.

"At least she might not be at the ball other than to serve food" I heard one of the she wolves scoff.

"As if the Alpha would allow that! He ignores her for a reason" some other chimed in.

"If you ask me he need to have simply kicked her out, having an omega makes us seem weak" the beta stated angrilly.

'What made them hate us Lilac?' I requested for the millionth time.

'It's our rank.. I'm sorry that it is like this for us' Lilac whimpered.

'It's now not your fault, I'm comfortable you're my wolf' I tried to motivateolivia P.O.V

The rain in Detroit was slick with grime when my family finally came to fetch me. They didn't want a reunion; they wanted a sacrificial lamb to marry into the Kaufman empire to save their failing business. I thought I was just being sold off, but the limo ride ended under a dark overpass where six hired thugs were waiting with chains. My own sister had ordered them to "break my spirit" so I’d be a shaking, pathetic mess by the time I reached the altar. They called me "Detroit trash" and sprayed air freshener when I sat on their leather seats. My stepmother wanted a video of me begging for my life, and my father was ready to trade me like a used car to a man everyone called a "vegetable." They expected a submissive country girl, unaware that I was a high-level "cleaner" who could snap a radius bone before they could even scream. When I finally reached the Kaufman estate, I found my fiancé, Barron, slumped in a wheelchair, drooling and silent. But as soon as the doors closed, the "invalid" grabbed my wrist with a grip of iron and whispered a command that changed everything. I didn't understand why my own blood was so desperate to see me destroyed. What had I ever done to deserve a hit squad and a forced marriage to a man they thought was a corpse? But Barron isn't a vegetable, and I'm not a victim. We just touched down at the Moon family gala in a matte-black helicopter, and as the doors slide open, the "broken" bride is about to show them exactly what happens when you throw away the wrong daughter. "If we're going to crash a party," Barron whispered, his eyes burning with lethal clarity, "we should make an entrance."
