Chapter 1 Resumption day.
Litha Moon park.
Litha Moon park is a very peaceful park amongst all. I can't say their Alpha is as peaceful as the park is, because he does things base on his mood. His mood swing is crazy and alarming. One moment, he is a sweet and cool Alpha you would want to spend your whole time with, and the next minute, he is a monster you would never want to have anything with.
He has lived for over a hundred years, but his look is that of a 25 years guy.
Alpha Xander walked into his study and sat carefully on the beautiful and shiny wooden chair. He brought his phone out of his pocket, and went through his email for a few minutes, searching for any important messages he must've gotten while he wasn't online. Seeing that there was no message that was worth a second of his time, he rolled his eyes and dropped his phone on the desk. He sighed briefly for the umpteenth time, glaring grumpily at the tons of files staring at him from his desk and seeking his attention.
Being an alpha hasn't been easy on him. Going through files every single day as if that was what he was birthed to do. For goodness sake, can't the moon goddess give him his mate and save him all these stress for life? Yes, having his mate by his side will help him so much, as she would be helping him in all these damn annoying works of his.
"I will check the documents later," He said lazily as he stood up to his feet, and with that, he stride out of the study and slams the door behind him angrily, like he wants to rip it off. Maybe that was his intention, who knows?...
"Alpha!" The guard at the doorpost bowed slightly as soon as he stepped out of the study, and he was forced to stop abruptly.
"What's the problem?" Alpha Xander asked angrily.
"Beta Khan and the cabinet are waiting for you in the throne room," the guard announced to him, and his expression dilates in anger and frustration. Will this ever end? Definitely no. As long as he's the alpha of Litha moon pack, then this will always continue.
"Not again!" he muttered angrily, touching his temple. He sighed briefly before he walked away, heading to the throne room.
"Greetings, Alpha," They all bowed respectfully as soon as he walked into the throne room, but he ignored them and strode to the throne, sitting on it afterward.
The deep frown on his face showed how displeased he was about the meeting, but he couldn't have brought himself to complain, knowing that they're all his subjects, and he needs to listen to them whenever the call his attention, right?
"What is it this time around?" He asked coldly, glaring at them one after the other, as if he would devour them anytime soon.
"I don't know either. The cabinet called to inform me that they will like to see me in the palace this morning," beta Khan spoke up first.
"Arent you going to talk? I have other things to do!" He snapped at them angrily, and they glanced at each other, as if scared of talking. What the heck is going on now?
He rose up to his feet, ready to leave the bunch of fools that just wants nothing, than to waste his time, but one of them finally spoke up.
"Forgive us, my lord. We're here to talk about your mate," One of them finally spoke up. Hearing that they mentioned his mate, he sat back on the throne with his ears wide open with interest. This is the kind of meeting he has always wanted, not the one they'll talk about the pack always.
"Have you found her yet?" Curious, he asked, and their faces dilates sadly.
"No, my lord. Only you can find your mate. We are only here to inform you that you're taking too long to find her," The man said, and he sighed briefly. What nonsense? Here he was, thinking that they already found her, only for them to spill rubbish to him now.
"Was that the reason I was summoned here amid my busy schedule?" He snapped at them angrily, glaring hard at each of them, while they turn their faces away.
"Forgive us, my lord. We didn't mean to do that, we were only..."
"Listen!" Alpha Xander said and they all seat upright, with fear in their eyes.
"If you guys can't wait for me to meet my mate, I will advise you to go outside and find her yourselves," Alpha Xander said and stood up.
"we are very sorry Alpha king" they pleaded. Alpha Xander looked back and signal the beta khan to meet him in his study...
"I am very sorry on their behalf Alpha king" beta Khan said.
"You don't need to be sorry, what did you think I can do to find my mate fast?" Alpha Xander asked.
"I have a suggestion, but I don't think you will like it," the Beta Khan said.
"Talk I'm listening!" Alpha king replied.
OCTAVIA P.O V
Blood moon park
"Octavia" mother yelled and I stood up from my sleep.
I don't know why my mother likes to frustrate my life, I almost get married to Khalid in my dream.
"Octavia get out of that room" she yelled again and I stood up immediately.
This woman won't be the end of me.
"Good morning mother" I greet and she gave me a suspicious look.
"Did you go back to sleep?" She asked and I scratched the back of my head nervously.
"Something like that" I replied.
"Something like what?" She asked.
"Mum look I went back to sleep because sleep want me to" I replied her.
"You're lazy, aren't you going to school today?" She asked.
Oh my goodness I forget, that today is resumption day, f00lish me.
"Mother l am not lazy, is it a crime for sleep to love me?" I asked.
"Hey," Khalid said and I rushed to hug him.
"Why aren't you ready for school?" He asked.
"She's not ready, because she's lazy" mother replied to him with an eye roll.
"Don't mind mother, wait for me I will be back in a jiffy" I said.
"Octavia, I don't think I can wait for you, I need to submit my assignment early this morning, I will see you in school," he said and blow me a kiss and my mother stick her tongue out at me.
"Mother you caused this," I said and walked back to my room.
"How did I cause it?" I heard her ask.
I rushed inside the bathroom and quickly take my bath before coming out of the bathroom, I take my time to rub my body and apply light nude makeup, I don't joke with my look.
Stepping out of my room, mother look at me from my head down to my toe, with her mouth slightly opened.
"Hope no problem mother?" I asked.
"The new dress fits you, you looked good in it," mother said and I blushed hard.
This is the first time mother will compliment my look.
"really?" I asked and she nod her head.
"Hey you're late already, you need to get going now before you land yourself in trouble," mother said.
"Alright mum I will see you later," I said and pick my backpack from the chair.
"And one more thing," she said and I stopped on my track, what's it again?
"Make sure you don't cause trouble today!" Mother said and I burst into laughter.
"I won't cause trouble....." "That's my girl," mother said with a smile.
"If trouble itself avoid me" I replied and blow kisses to her before running out of the room. I met different types of gift outside and my mouth left open on it own.
"Mother what's this for?" I asked with a frown.
"The mother of the girl you healed yesterday insisted of bringing a present for you, I kick against the idea but she won't listen, so I allow her to do her thing" Mother replied.
"You shouldn't have accept it, I don't like it when they bring gifts for me, my healing is free" Octavia replied.
"You don't have a choice I have accepted this one already" she replied.
"There's no problem, you have to dash it out to the people that need it better, drop the chocolate in my room" I said because I can't do without chocolate. It's time to face Mr. Thomas.
Thank goodness, this is my final year, am tired of going to school every day, the school rules are f*cking too much.
I stopped a cab and it took me directly to the school.

I get down from the cab and walked inside, I placed a knock at the school gate.
"Why are you just coming?" The security guy asked.
"Open the gate and let me in" I replied and he locked the gate immediately without letting me In.
"What the f*ck, did you think you're doing?" I asked.
