After confirming that she was indeed asleep, Morgan removed himself from the room and observed Wesley walking around the opposite wall, waving at him.He wasn't saying anything, but his posture showed his confidence and admiration.Instead of trying to soothe his friend, Morgan proceeded to locate Amber in order to provide her with additional information. They were beyond Wesley's control. She was looking at him with such different eyes; Her coat had been taken off, and her skin was straining against her blood.Morgan was the only person who wasn't a woman and was in the same situation as Morgan. The man was completely immune to her advances. He rolled his eyes and walked over to the nurse's counter to pick up a pen and paper. He approached the two of them and smugly grabbed Amber's hands, slapping the piece of paper into her palm, and then dragged Morgan away from her. Morgan said, "I'll give a call later," as they walked away.Wesley made one last turn to look at the beautiful blonde Doctor and saw that her face was flushed.Surely, she didn't think the number in her hand was connected to the Alpha, didn't she?

Falling for the wolf Chapter 1 Wesley as CEO

Wesley was upset.Even though everyone on the board had already taken their seats, the CEO had not yet appeared.Everyone had been anxious as a result of the lengthy meeting.Did their Alpha anticipate a forthcoming price decrease?

Wesley, the highest-ranking Balleyand second-in-command, had reviewed all of their accounts and spent the first hour examining the stock market for any potential issues.Due to the fact that a sudden drop in prices could result in a potential loss of yield for the market, the property index was extremely important. They needed these places to run around without posing a threat to others or to themselves. He suddenly considered becoming pregnant.

Wesley fumbled with his phone, deciding that he would call his mother in another five minutes should he not arrive by then.He had tried to approach his Alpha through the shield, but he must have been too far away and out of reach.

The meeting room door opened abruptly, and the alpha in question appeared in front of it.

Good morning to everyone.Wesley looked up and realized that his Alpha was looking directly at him. I sincerely agree. He might only exhibit a slight reaction in response. When Morgan was asked a question or discussed something, he usually spoke in his native tongue, which surprised Wesley because he didn't know what it was.

"I was held up at the medical center, and it was not my intention to be late."Immediately, Wesley's eyes flew to his abdomen.

Is it my fault?

Don't worry about my friend... her face... Wesley relaxed a bit at his Alpha's words and waited for him to start the meeting.

"I have come to the decision... that this is the time that we have opened our borders to humans," says the author. After a silenced second, the room burst into a series of incidents, disturbances, and general chaos.Even Wesley ended up standing on his head.Since the founding of Addison Reality, no directors have ever been appointed from outside the pack. Was his apotheosis implying that the contemporary boundary of thieves had been compromised?

"No, I'm not saying that you all have been incompetent; rather, I think we need to learn how to expand our minds by accepting other ideas from a world outside of our immediate life," Morgan said, sounding as though he were giving an accurate response to Wesley's inquiry. We have recently discovered some petroleum that was intended for commercial use;Our bank has more liquidity than is currently available, so this will not affect our security.Morgan retreated in his chair as he witnessed his Balleys arguing with one another. He knew that they wanted to show their rage and support for him, but their old hierarchies had always put a stop to that.He gave Wesley, who had just left, a quick glance to the right, but remained silent.

He advised, "Silence."This is precisely why I am convinced that you will never dare to voice your concerns or doubts to me.What good would all of your ideas be if you never discussed them with me or dared to dispute them?An outsider who has no ties to this group would have no concerns about challenging me or coming up with alternative plans. As an Alpha, I have no opinion about them, and this is what our business needs to grow.

Morgan could see the resignation on the faces of the rivals in the room as they moved to the side.

"Alex would be reaching the fifth century mark, and we have both come to the agreement that he should retire and stay in the workplace to be with his family more," says the author.

Around the room, there were agreement murmurs. After that, a woman named Balley Ashley grabbed his hand.

"Alpha... does that mean that we are only hiring one human to fill Alex's position?"

Morgan gave her a grin.

That is a great question. No, we will most likely employ two people.Morgan smiled at Wesley, who was giving him a concerned look as he observed the confused looks on his front members.

Yet, Morgan! That would require one of us to leave!

"I have also decided to step down as your Head Director,"The room split in two right away.

"Alрhа!That's impossible for you!

"Who will take your place?"

"How are we going to make decisions?"

After the use, contingents sailed across the floor in front of him, but Morgan was significantly smaller.

"Wesley will hire for these two positions and handle all other business matters," the statement reads.Morgan continued, "It dоesn't matter whether I аm on the border or nоt," in response to the unsure look on Balley's face.Because this company is affiliated with Addison Park, I am on the board.Consider that. You have all been dropped.

When the last person left the meeting room, Wesley was the only one who stayed in his seat. His blue eyes were focused on Morgan's inner best eyes.

"Morgan, what are you really doing?"The concern in Wesley's voice was unmistakable. They had been friends since they were puppies, and Wesley didn't want to let his friend make his own decisions every day without explaining.

"Are you using your Alpha, Wesley?"He repeated in a deep voice. If Wesley hadn't been looking directly at Morgan, he wouldn't have noticed the brightest flash of emotion in Alpha's eyes.

"Don't give me that crap Morgan... Tell me what's really wrong, and I'll ask for forgiveness for using my Alphá."Until the Alpha responded, Wesley stubbornly focused on him.His friend was clearly a hot-blooded, obstinate animal;a simplified version of himself. He was always the calm, gentle, and patient one, or so he hoped. At that self-description, the animal within him seemed bewildered.

I'm returning to the medical center. You are welcome to follow, but I need the new technicians hired by the end of this week.Wesley was left in a state of annoyance after Morgan abruptly turned around and left the room.

He left the room, muttering curses under his breath, and started calling the Human Resources department. He threatened to leave every five minutes if they didn't give him important dates by the end of the day.He hurried away from Morgan, snapping his hand phone shut.

As he was dangling his car kеy from his fingers, Alpha was sitting comfortably at the point of his Lamborghini Renaissance. Before grabbing the keys out of his pocket, Wesley managed to raise his eyes.

Their short drive to the medical center revealed that they were driving a premium vehicle.Wesley's wolf loved the idea of being behind such a quick car that he was determined to keep breaking the speed limit if Morgan hadn't kept reminding him that he didn't have any supplies to reposition him yet.

They made their way into the medical center with the help of Wesley, who carefully carried the potent carrot into the reserved parking lot.He visited Canutt, his companion, on a regular basis for her checkups whenever he was able to do so, and he was accustomed to the unusual and clinical manner it possessed.

Morgan didn't say anything as they entered, but he simply thanked the numerous staff members who had stopped by.After some of Morgan's young children graduated from medical school without the company's funding, Morgan opened the medical center about 50 years ago.He authorized the traditional healers and the traditional medical practitioners to care for the sick and wounded in this location.

Finally, he stopped as a bleeding-heart doctor approached them.Since he had never seen her before, Wesley looked at her with curiosity.

"This is Shane Addison, a doctor.Because she was in physical therapy, you probably wouldn't have seen her around.Morgan said, "Canutt hasn't had any pups yet," repeating his friend's exclamation as if he had spoken his thoughts aloud.

"Pleased tо mеet уоu," she said to Morgan, referring to D.O. in a clear and concise manner. She is referring to Morgan, but I believe she would like to see you.According to your observations, I have been the only one monitoring all of her medications and altering her diet. However, she still calls you by name frequently.

"Thanks, Shane."Morgan entered the room, closely accompanied by Wesley. The sight of what was on the hospital bed intensified his friend's irritation at the doctor. His nostrils were punctured by the largest amount of blood that he had not smeared while they were outside once the door was closed.

"It's that... Morgan... you can't be rude!"He was indignant. What is taking place here?"He asked repeatedly.

"That thing... is a child, a wounded child if I may add," she said.Without intending to steal himself, Wesley watched his Alpha approach the bed. When Alpha's family took care of the child's cheeks, he let out another of himself.Whether you were a child or not, that thing was a vampire and lived within their medical facilities, posing a clear threat to everyone.

"Get the hell out of here if you want to behave like an asshole. If she wakes up and is scalded, I will inevitably break up with you, Wesley. Morgan's voice was kind and gentle, but the following statements made the situation even more serious.Wesley fought back hard and moved away from the door.

After Wesley had left, Morgan gave a sigh and walked over to the bedside table. He felt the icy coldness on his feet as his father savaged the little girl's cheeks. He pulled the blankets up to her chin in an effort to provide her with additional warmth and settled down to catch her breath. His chest was slightly raised and drooped, and Morgan repeatedly tried to hear her breastbone, despite the fact that the mirror showed that it was possible.

As if he were aware of his presence, his eyes suddenly fluttered open. His blue eyes caught her pale skin and even her pale white hair shook him out of his daze.

The heavy thud of the release stamp was the only goodbye I got from the warden after five years in federal prison. I stepped out into the blinding sun, expecting the same flash of paparazzi bulbs that had seen me dragged away in handcuffs, but there was only a single black limousine idling on the shoulder of the road. Inside sat my mother and sister, clutching champagne and looking at my frayed coat with pure disgust. They didn't offer a welcome home; instead, they tossed a thick legal document onto the table and told me I was dead to the city. "Gavin and I are getting engaged," my sister Mia sneered, flicking a credit card at me like I was a stray dog. "He doesn't need a convict ex-fiancée hanging around." Even after I saved their lives from an armed kidnapping attempt by ramming the attackers off the road, they rewarded me by leaving me stranded in the dirt. When I finally ran into Gavin, the man who had framed me, he pinned me against a wall and threatened to send me back to a cell if I ever dared to show my face at their wedding. They had stolen my biotech research, ruined my name, and let me rot for half a decade while they lived off my brilliance. They thought they had broken me, leaving me with nothing but an expired chapstick and a few old photos in a plastic bag. What they didn't know was that I had spent those five years becoming "Dr. X," a shadow consultant with five hundred million dollars in crypto and a secret that would bring the city to its knees. I wasn't just a victim anymore; I was a weapon, and I was pregnant with the heir they thought they had erased. I walked into the Melton estate and made an offer to the most powerful man in New York. "I'll save your grandfather's life," I told Horatio Melton, staring him down. "But the price is your last name. I'm taking back what's mine, and I'm starting with the man who thinks he's marrying my sister."

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.
