My Little Miss Devil Chapter 1 The Young Mistress of the Bull Family

Susan had never thought that she who was so afraid of death would have the courage to leap down from a 33-story building.

At first she was just happy to see a white line across the clouds from the plane outside, and the nanny, who was playing with her cell phone and holding a spoon to feed her at the same time, didn't get any response. "You're not eating again, are you? I don't have the patience to feed you anymore. Do you think you're still the young mistress of the Bull family? You are none other than an infamous slut!"

The nanny's scolding was unpleasant, and Susan, with her burning red face, slowly regained her consciousness, opened her mouth and shouted "ah" blankly.

When she heard the words "Young Mistress of the Bull family", she felt her heart was stabbed by as if ten million needles. The fishy smell filled her sore throat.

She had engaged to Henry since being born. No matter who they were, they assumed that Susan was the young mistress of the Bull family. Her life was originally planned just like that of a princess, but since Sunny Hard appeared, everything had changed.

Henry's increasing indifference and even disgust made her painful. Until a year ago, she married him in a way that even made herself feel inferior, and became Mrs. Bull.

She thought her dream had come true, but it was the beginning of a nightmare.

The discontinuation of the relationship with her mother, the disappointment of Mrs Bull, and death curse she made to her husband let them drift apart farther and farther away from themselves, and finally reached the point that they refused to meet each other again.

"Do you think the young master will come to see you again?" The nanny saw Susan's silly look, a wisp of malice rose from her heart. This woman had always been bossy before, and now she deserved to have a suffer. She took out a shining silver needle from her purse. Susan had naturally noticed it, her body shivering terribly.

"Susan, don't blame me. I also earn money by working for other people!"

"No, please don't..."

The nanny grabbed Susan's slender arms, clutched her fingers and pricked them with the needles without any hesitation. With the nerves of the fingertips linked with the heart, Susan instinctively began to cry and struggle, but as weak as she was, how could she resist the nanny. The more the nanny abused her, the more pleased she felt.

"Bitch, when you acted wildly before, did you think your would have this suffer today? Andy was really foolish to die for someone like you."

He was dead?

Susan looked up at nanny blankly. The pain on her fingers made her a little confused. Since losing her child, she had been in a trance. She was crazy, and she did not remember what she had done or who she had met.

Susan's eyes widened and asked in goofiness,"Andy ... elder brother ... what happened to him?"

The nanny leaned over, patted Susan's face, and whispered to her ear, "He was dead."

Susan's pupils widened. Sickness gushed violently from her throat. Everything before her eyes turned white, and her memory was intermittently covered with a layer of blood. She as if saw the only one who was willing to hug her when anyone blamed and abused her fell into the blood.

Susan remembered that if she hadn't struggled to snatch the steering wheel and intended to meet Henry, there wouldn't be a car accident ...

She woke up unexpectedly, and her eyes gradually became clear. Susan smiled gently to the nanny. "Then I will go with him."

The nanny had looked after Susan for so long. She suddenly saw her smiling brightly, as if a flower bloomed to the extreme and finally withered. She was stunned for a while. Before she could react, Susan got up, strode to the window sill on the sofa and leaped down after breaking the blinds with her body.

The sorrowful howl of the wind poured into her ears. Her heart paralyzed at first ...

If I could relive again, Henry, I would never love you any more.

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardenerโ€™s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancรฉ, Ambroseโ€”the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

I stood in the darkest corner of the Pierre Hotelโ€™s ballroom, my cheap polyester dress itching against my skin while my wristband buzzed with a DARPA Priority Red alert. In front of the cityโ€™s elite, my fiancรฉ Bryce Calloway took the stage, not to toast our future, but to publicly end our engagement and announce he was with my sister, Chloe. The room turned on me instantly, a hundred pairs of eyes pinning me down with pity and disgust as they physically backed away like I was contagious. When I returned home, my mother shattered a crystal vase at my feet, screaming that I was a humiliation and a "dropout" who didn't deserve a cent of the family fortune. Chloe and Bryce mocked me, laughing when I told them I had a mission with the National Security Agency, convinced I was either a pathological liar or a low-level criminal. They watched in horror as a black, unmarked military helicopter descended on our backyard to extract me, yet they still chose to believe I was being arrested for drug trafficking. They saw a pathetic girl who couldn't even parallel park, never realizing I was Dr. Nova Vance, the lead physicist behind the world's first successful fusion reactor. To secure funding for my research and gain a "fortress" of a name, I signed a thirty-day marriage contract with the arrogant billionaire Roman Knight. He treats me like a fraud, convinced Iโ€™m a gold-digger who failed out of college, while I quietly run global energy simulations from his guest bedroom. He has no idea that the "loser" heโ€™s forced to live with is the same anonymous grandmaster who has been ruthlessly crushing him in online strategy games for months. "The contract is active," I told him, looking past his expensive suit. "But don't expect me to be your maid."
