Two years ago, Bella Jones inexplicably woke up beneath the man. On the same day, the gossip that she was a prostitute went around. She was unable to withstand all kinds of stress. In addition, her studies were interrupted and her family broke down. She had to flee the city after her life was ruined. Two years later, on her first night back in the city, she slept with him again. "You are calling the names of your other clients. Aren't you horny?" A coin was flipped and landed on the bed. "You are bad in bed. Of course, I will miss other clients. You deserve this price, which is already my respect for your feelings." ........ Years later, in a certain interview, a reporter asked, "Mr. Evans, can you share with us the reason that you chose Miss Jones as your life partner?" "It's simple. That is because my wife has spent a large fortune on the rest of my life."

My CEO Husband Pissed Me Off Chapter 1 Confused Him with Somebody Else in Bed

Ouch........

Bella Jones' little face which turned red because of alcohol wrinkled, looking delicate and touching.

However, the man directly above her did not show the slightest bit of pity. He kissed Bella's white collarbone, leaving rudely teeth marks.

She was destined to feel painful tonight.

She stretched her heavy arms in an effort to push the bastard in front of her, but her strength seemed to drain away instantly when her watery eyes met the man's sexy eyes.

"Sheldon......."

Her full red lips couldn't help letting out a soft murmur in a choked voice, "It's good that you do not leave me......."

While speaking, she raised her right hand, trying to stroke the man's face.

The next second!

Bang!

Her hands were grabbed violently in midair by the man, and then he opened her arms viciously with great force.

The sudden pain suddenly made Bella regain consciousness. Bella lifted her little white face, muttering with teary eyes.

"Sheldon, why do you......."

She did not finish her aggrieved words because the next moment the icy gaze of that man made her blood run cold.

In an instant, she was completely sober!

"Shawn, Shawn......."

Shawn Evans?

Oh God, why was he here?

Shawn's body paused and lowered his head gradually. His handsome face approached straight her little pale face with a cold and evil smile curving his thin red lips, instantly awakening Bella's deeply hidden memories of fear!

"This is the second time!"

After an instant shock,

"Help--"

She wanted to scream instinctively, but was stopped the next moment.

That was because Shawn's large hand pinched her snow-white neck quickly and violently. She felt suffocated and painful instantly. Her dull pupils reflected his grim smile.

"It's the second time you've mistaken me for another man. That's good!" Shawn spoke in a very low voice, lowering his head and kissing her on the corner of her lips, as if he was satisfied with her pale face and constantly shivering body.

"What do you think I should do to thank you for your affection? Huh?"

His evil smile was in sharp contrast to his brutal movements.

Bella in his hands was like a stranded fish that constantly struggled and yet could not jump out of his palm. Her breath was getting weaker and weaker, as if she would suffocate at any moment.

Knock, knock, knock!

Suddenly, a knock sounded abruptly at the door.

Shawn paused. His black eyes lighting up, he stared at Bella's face which was covered with tears, and leisurely clicked his tongue.

The next second, he threw his hand which pinched Bella's neck and threw Bella to a corner as if he was shaking off a piece of trash, never looking at her again.

Bella felt was that she was about to break a few bones of her body.

She, who was covered all over with bruises, curled up without a stitch of clothing and stubbornly and fearfully stared at the man getting out of bed.

Shawn picked up a white bathrobe and casually put it on.

He was a natural clothes horse. His wide shoulders, the thin waist, and narrow hips made up the perfect golden ratio.

He was almost 1.9 meters tall with two long legs. The view of his back alone was a beautiful landscape. He exuded an impressive aura of wealth and power.

"You'd better not look at me this way."

I was once the princess of the Upper East Side, but now I’m just "debt wrapped in pretty skin." To keep my father alive in a federal penitentiary, I signed a contract I didn't fully understand. I thought it was about restoring my family's name, but producer Barnett Orr treated it like a bill of sale for my soul. Inside his limousine, the air smelled like gasoline and fear. Barnett didn't want a star; he wanted a victim. He bruised my jaw and ripped my vintage silk gown to shreds, laughing because he knew I couldn't fight back without signing my father's death warrant. "Don't forget who owns you, Felicity," he whispered. When he dragged me into Dewitt Knight’s penthouse party, I was a walking disaster. I huddled in Barnett’s oversized jacket, my lip bleeding and my spirit shattered. The elite crowd didn't see a victim; they saw a fallen girl selling herself for a role. A former rival poured red wine over me, and the room erupted in cruel laughter while Barnett told everyone he was just "testing my commitment." I looked up at the balcony, locking eyes with Dewitt Knight. He was a god in a bespoke suit, looking down at me with cold, lethal disgust. He didn't see the bruises or the desperation. He only saw a transaction he found beneath him. "So the rumors are true," he said, his voice cutting through the music. "The Aguilars really will do anything for money now. Even this." I was trapped between a monster who wanted to break me and a man who thought I was trash. No one cared that my father's life depended on my silence. When Barnett cornered me in a guest room later that night, his belt jingling like a death knell, I realized no one was coming to save a girl like me. I fought back with a crystal vase, shattering it against his shoulder, but I was drowning in my own terror. Just as Barnett lunged for my throat, the door was kicked off its hinges. Dewitt stood there, finally seeing the blood on the carpet and the map of purple bruises on my bare back. He chased the monster away, but I didn't feel safe. I locked the guest room door, wedged a chair under the handle, and slept with a silver letter opener pressed against my skin. When I crept into the kitchen at midnight and found him waiting in the shadows, I aimed the blade at his heart. "In this house, no one hurts you," he promised, his voice a low velvet rumble. But in a world where I had already been sold once, I knew that even protection came with a price I couldn't afford to pay.

I arrived at my uncle’s mansion looking like human trash, clutching a one-way bus ticket and a duffel bag stuffed with old newspaper. My aunt looked at me with pure disgust, as if she could smell the poverty on my skin, but they needed me for one thing: to be a sacrificial lamb. They told me I was getting married to Julian Sterling, a man the elite circles called a violent monster locked in a cage. My uncle forced me to sign away my soul to save their failing fortune, while my cousin Kayla laughed and threw a torn dress at my feet, calling me a "rat from the Rust Belt." At the Sterling estate, the nightmare only deepened. Julian’s stepmother treated me like a horse she was forced to buy, ordering the staff to "burn off" my hair before locking me in the West Wing. I was thrown into a padded cell with a man who lunged at me, his heavy chains rattling against the floor as he roared with an animalistic rage that had already killed two nurses. They thought I was a pathetic, uneducated girl who "didn't read so good." They didn't know I had extorted two million dollars from my uncle before walking out the door, or that I was secretly recording every slap and insult they threw at me for future leverage. I huddled in the corner of that dark cell, letting them watch me tremble on the security feeds. I let Julian’s sister strike me with a riding crop and splash water in my face, playing the role of the clumsy, sobbing idiot to perfection. But the moment the cameras looped, the scared girl vanished. I pinned the "monster" to the floor, cut the neural tracking chip out of his neck with a hidden scalpel, and whispered into his ear as his blue eyes finally cleared. They thought they were sending a lamb to the slaughter. They had no idea they were sending a wolf to hunt a beast.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

I married Clive Harrington, the coldest billionaire in Manhattan, under a strict contract that forbade any emotional burdens. When I needed a high-risk surgery to save my sight, I checked into the clinic alone, hiding the procedure from a husband who saw me as nothing more than a legal asset. I thought I could handle the darkness in silence. But while I was blind and bandaged in my hospital bed, my biological mother called, screaming that if I didn't produce a Harrington heir by the end of the fiscal year, she would cut off the life-saving treatments for my disabled sister. I was crawling on the cold hospital floor, desperately feeling for a cane I had dropped, when I touched a pair of expensive leather shoes. It was Clive. He was supposed to be in London closing a multi-million dollar deal, but there he was, watching his "contract wife" groveling in the dark like a beggar. He didn't walk away in disgust. He carried me to a five-thousand-dollar-a-night VIP suite and sat by my bed, listening in chilling silence as another voicemail from my mother filled the room, calling me a "useless broodmare" who was only worth the trust fund disbursements my marriage secured. I expected him to remind me of Clause 34B or hand me divorce papers now that I was "damaged goods." Instead, I felt his thumb brush a stray tear from my cheek, his presence shifting from a statue of ice into a predatory shield. "I thought I was just currency to you," I whispered, my voice trembling behind the gauze. "Just an investment." Clive didn't answer with words. He picked up his phone and called his head of legal with a single, terrifying command: "Kill the Douglas family’s credit lines. Every debt, every lien—trigger them all. If they want a war, I’ll give them a massacre." As he leaned down to kiss my bandaged forehead, I realized the contract was dead. My husband wasn't protecting an asset anymore; he was hunting the people who had dared to touch what belonged to him.
