In Egypt, Ivanna Neal met Marshell Walsh first time. At that time, Ivanna was doing archaeological work at the cemetery while she met the injured Marshall. She saved Marshall by the way. After that, Marshall took her sachet away. The second time, Ivanna was shopping high heels for the coming banquet. Marshall wanted to pay the bill but was refused by Ivanna. Ivanna said if Marshall could find her with the shoes, she would consider learning more about him. The third time, Ivanna was framed by her stepsister and her high heels were broken. She almost lost her face in front of many noble and rich men. Then, Marshall brought her a pair of fantasy crystal shoes. Just like a prince, Marshall protected her from the embarrassment! And the fourth time, the fifth ... they knew more and more about each other. However, one day, all these just like that pair of crystal shoes which is too fantasy to own.

The Fantasy Crystal Shoes Chapter 1 Living Person at Ancient Tomb

Valley of the Kings, Egypt.

Gusts of wind swept past, stirring up the dust. Ivanna Neal and her team, on a mission to excavate an ancient tomb, could barely keep their eyes open.

"Ivy, the sandstorm is too strong. Let's pack up, return to the camp, and come back when it subsides!" Steve Caldwell, a young man beside Ivanna, covered his nose and suggested.

"Makes sense, go pack up..." Ivanna looked up at the sky, knowing that the storm would last for some time. It had affected their archaeological research. She picked up the detector and other equipment from the ground before stuffing them into her bag.

"Ahhh..." Just then, Steve cried out loud, and an amused Ivanna looked over.

"What are you doing? The sand will choke you!" Ivanna arched her brow and saw the timid schoolmate jumping and grabbing her sleeve. Pointing to the near distance, he freaked out, "There is... a corpse!"

"Is this the first time you've seen a corpse?" Ivanna helplessly shook her head and looked over. Then her brow furrowed.

"We're not in the tomb yet. No corpses should be out here...."

Ivanna walked over to the spot where the corpse was buried before seeing a man in a suit. His eyes were closed, his face was ashen, his lips were bloodless, and a thin layer of sand covered his body.

"He's still breathing..." Ivanna bent down, felt his breath, and whispered, "He's not dead. It looks like he's injured and unconscious!"

"Thank God, it scared the hell out of me!" Steve heaved a sigh of relief and cautiously came up. Then he was shocked to see the clothes on the man's left abdomen stained with blood, "He bled a lot!"

"Come on, help him up and bring him back to our camp. We should stop his bleeding first!"

Ivanna picked up her backpack, propped the injured man with Steve, and left the valley for their camp nearby.

Steve laid him flat on the bed, wiped his face with a towel, and marveled in a low voice, "This man is as handsome as Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun..."

"Nonsense, bring me ethanol and tweezers!" Ivanna glared at him.

With her head low, she wiped his wound with ethanol. The unconscious man twitched, opened his eagle's eyes abruptly, and gazed at her fiercely.

"Who are you?" The man grabbed her wrist forcefully. His voice was deep and authoritative.

"Your rescuer..." To her surprise, the man boasted great strength despite his injury. She chuckled and cocked her brow.

As he refused to let go, Ivanna poked his wound. The man gasped in pain, and she explained with a smile, "Relax, we brought you back and will not take your life...."

Only then did the man let go of her hand. While cleaning the wound, Ivanna turned to Steve, "Bring me a dose of anesthetics quickly...."

"Ivy, we've run out of them...." Steve shrugged helplessly.

Ivanna pondered for a moment, looked down at the pale face of the man, and sighed, "No anesthetics, so you have to tough it out. We're too far from the hospital. I'm afraid you won't make it...."

"Go on!" The man urged in a low voice.

Ivanna picked up the tweezers and removed the bullet fragments from his abdomen with great care. As the anesthetics were not used, she could feel his body stiff from the pain.

Ivanna felt nervous, lowered her head, looked into his deep eyes, and gritted her teeth before disinfecting and sewing up the wound.

The heavy iron gates of the Wilderness Correction Camp groaned as they released me after three years of state-sponsored hell. I stood on the dirt road, clutching a plastic bag that held my entire life, waiting for the family that claimed they sent me there for "rehab." My brother, Brady, picked me up in a luxury SUV only to throw me out onto a deserted highway in the middle of a brewing storm. He told me I was a "public relations nightmare" and that the rain might finally wash the "stink" of the camp off me. He drove away, leaving me to limp miles through the mud on a snapped ankle. When I finally dragged myself to our family estate, my mother didn't offer a hug; she gasped in horror because my muddy clothes were ruining her Italian marble. They didn't give me my old room back. Instead, they banished me to a moldy gardener’s shack and hired a "babysitter" to make sure I didn't embarrass them further. My sister, Kaleigh, stood there in white cashmere, pretending to cry while clinging to her fiancé, Ambrose—the man who had once been mine. They all treated me like a volatile junkie, refusing to acknowledge that Kaleigh was the one who planted the drugs in my bag three years ago. They wanted to believe I was broken so they wouldn't have to feel guilty about the "wellness retreat" that was actually a torture chamber. I sat in the dark of that shed, feeling the cooling gel on the cigarette burns that covered my arms, and realized they had made a fatal mistake. They thought they had erased me, but I had returned with a roadmap of scars and a hidden satellite phone. At dinner, I didn't beg for their love. I simply rolled up my sleeves and showed them the price of their silence. As the wine spilled and the lies crumbled, I sent a single text to the only person I trusted: "I'm in. Let them simmer." The hunt was finally on.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

Hayley was betrayed by those who should have loved her most. To save their precious adopted daughter from a punishment she deserved, her own parents sent Hayley straight into a living hell—an infamous prison where survival demanded cruelty, and weakness meant death. Four years later, the girl who had entered those iron gates no longer existed. She emerged with a single, unbreakable rule carved into her soul: Every betrayal would be repaid tenfold. The day she walked free, the world trembled. A convoy of luxury cars lined the road. A legion of loyal followers awaited her triumphant return. Her father tried to buy her silence with money. But money had long lost its power over her. Her adopted sister hid behind sweet words and false kindness. But empty smiles no longer fooled her. Everything that had once been stolen would be reclaimed—piece by piece. When her parents attempted to tie themselves to the city's most feared man by offering their adopted daughter, Hayley's lips curved into a cold smirk. "Not on my watch." Backed by a legendary hacker, shadowy allies, and an entire prison willing to burn the world for her, Hayley dismantled her enemies with terrifying precision. Then the tyrant noticed her. "You're interesting," he said. "Be my woman, and the city is yours." Hayley raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "You want to own me? Survive me first." High society became their battlefield. Power collided with desire. Ambition clashed with obsession. In this ruthless game of dominance and temptation, only one would kneel first. The girl once abandoned in hell rose from its ashes, crowned by fire and vengeance—And in the end, even the most feared ruler in the city would bow, offering his empire to the woman who had conquered both hell… and him.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.
