Her Lustful Desire Chapter 1 Time to revenge

Nathaniel

I looked at the guy sitting right next to me. This is shit; this man is the last person I could think my parents would want to match me with.

so boring and ugly.

Maybe in their eyes, I just deserved this kind of man .

"Sweetie, do you need anything?" he asked, and I felt like hitting him for calling me that.

This was our first meet.

Sweetie?

This made me sick.

"Did I really need anything? Nope, maybe yes, but not from you," I reply angrily.

This was the seventh man I met in three months.

I bored about with blind date.

So why did I need to polite with a stranger?

"You are too full of yourself; I don't know why I don't like girls like you. I am done with this date," he thundered, standing on his feet.

I glared at him for a while and burst into laughter.

"Sorry, you must be really disappointed. I don't like you either; in fact, you disperse me. You are an ugly. Monkey, haha, yeah, that would be a better way to describe you, Mr. Date, "I said mockingly and smiled to myself.

He took his car key and left angrily.

I closed my eyes, remembering what was going to happen.

I knew that today wasn't going to be a good day. I messed up again.

That man I call father will screw me alive .

"Whatever, I can bear that," I let out angrily. Then I realized people were staring.

I bit my teeth for the umpteenth time before leaving for my car. What car was I talking about? That idiot was the one who brought me here.

How do I get home now? Maybe I will just pass a call across to my driver; I was about to do that when my dad call came in. Speak of the devil. I muster up, and resorted to pick the call.

I took a deep breath as I plugged in my earbuds.

"Nathaniel, where are you?"His croaky voice asked, My head became empty, as did my stomach. I didn't know how to answer him.

"Dad, please calm down; it's not what you think." That was the only word I could gather.

"The driver will be there to pick you up. You better give me a valid reason. " he shrieked, and he ended the call. I realized I was doomed. I nervously put my phone inside my handbag.

Then my mind went back .I missed him so much. He has always been there for me. Where are you, Khalid? I don't want to be with anyone except for you. Please come back for my sake; I can't live all by myself. I tried controlling my emotions, but the tears flowed easily.

I quickly wiped away my tears when I realized I was not in my room. A few minutes later, the driver arrives, and I slowly walk into the car with my heavy legs.

"How was your date, ma?" he asked in a friendly way.

"What date are you talking about? How dare you talk about my date?" I shouted at him, and I couldn't help but let my tears flow freely.

"I am sorry, ma; please don't complain to the boss. He's going to fire me immediately," he pleaded.

Who cares about him? If he really knows how much pain it is for a child not to have a parent by her side.

I had no mood to think about others.

Why should I care what other people's lives are like?

We were all selfish.

In fact,I was like a stranger to my family, and it hurt that they only wanted to sell me off to their rich partner without asking me if I was okay with it.

I just liked a trade for them.

"Just keep quiet and keep driving," I instructed. I managed to look at myself in the mirror. I couldn't believe I messed up everything.

I am very beautiful, and I only want to be beautiful for him. It's been 10 years already; he promised to be back, but he's taking forever. I hope I won't be dead when it finally comes.

Khalid

I looked at myself in the mirror. It's time for revenge. This is the moment I have been waiting for. No more delays. I must make sure I make use of every opportunity to ruin the Edward family, everyone included, including their daughter. I sniff out some cigarettes from the pile.

My door slammed open, and I felt some rage rise in me, but not until I found out that it was my silly friends. No one dares open my door in that manner unless they are ready to die.

"Calm down, guy, if you can see your face right now. Like, seriously, you look like a devil that comes from the 1000 Generation," Herald, my best male childhood friend, said, sitting on the sofa.

"Yes, I should be more devilish than you said. " I replied with a smirk. That's the best laugh you can get from me.

"Don't mind him; he must be really jealous that he doesn't have balls and packs like you," Jenny, my female friend, said in defense.

"Wait, are you kidding me? Have you seen his d*ck before?" he asked, covering his mouth with his palm.

"Stop being dramatic; you know such things can't happen," I said.

"Khalid, why are you delaying your revenge? We've been in the state for a week now; why don't we strike and let leave for London immediately?" she asked, rolling some dice for herself.

"I will strike soon, but I have a change of plans," I was about telling them my new plans when my phone beeps.

"Guys, enjoy yourselves; I am out." I went straight to my room and got dressed in my best outfit.

*******

I arrived at my company to see one of my business partners with the devil, Mr. Edward, my biggest enemy.

"Mr. Lionel, you are welcome," Steve, my partner said stretching out his hand.

I shake him, and my eyes are on Edward.

"Did I know you from anywhere?" he asked, confused.

"Not at all; I don't live in this country," I lied as I shook hands with him. How can he know me when he thinks he succeeded in killing all my family when he didn't even know I was a friend to his daughter?

Playing it cool just to take my revenge. But that idiot is in love with me. When I only want to see them suffer miserably, I hope they will cry for death.

We all head into my office.

"Okay, let's discuss business," I said and went to sit in my chair.

"I want to invest with you; my company is losing money and I need help. My friend here said you are the best person in position to help me.

Mention anything, and I can give it to you so that you can help me," Mr. Edward said.

That was convincing enough. The ball is now in my court; all I have to do is play it safe.

"I will help you, but I have conditions," I said, scowling.

"What condition?" he asked.

I had just survived a private jet crash, my body a map of violet bruises and my lungs still burning from the smoke. I woke up in a sterile hospital room, gasping for my husband's name, only to realize I was completely alone. While I was bleeding in a ditch, my husband, Adam, was on the news smiling at a ribbon-cutting ceremony. When I tracked him down at the hospital's VIP wing, I didn't find a grieving husband. I found him tenderly cradling his ex-girlfriend, Casie, in his arms, his face lit with a protective warmth he had never shown me as he carried her into the maternity ward. The betrayal went deeper than I could have imagined. Adam admitted the affair started on our third anniversary-the night he claimed he was stuck in London for a merger. Back at the manor, his mother had already filled our planned nursery with pink boutique bags for Casie's "little princess." When I demanded a divorce, Adam didn't flinch. He sneered that I was "gutter trash" from a foster home and that I'd be begging on the streets within a week. To trap me, he froze my bank accounts, cancelled my flight, and even called the police to report me for "theft" of company property. I realized then that I wasn't his partner; I was a charity case he had plucked from obscurity to manage his life. To the Hortons, I was just a servant who happened to sleep in the master bedroom, a "resilient" woman meant to endure his abuse in silence while the whole world laughed at the joke that was my marriage. Adam thought stripping me of his money would make me crawl back to him. He was wrong. I walked into his executive suite during his biggest deal of the year and poured a mug of sludge over his original ten-million-dollar contracts. Then, right in front of his board and his mistress, I stripped off every designer thread he had ever paid for until I was standing in nothing but my own silk camisole. "You can keep the clothes, Adam. They're as hollow as you are." I grabbed my passport, turned my back on his billions, and walked out of that glass tower barefoot, bleeding, and finally free.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.

The heavy thud of the release stamp was the only goodbye I got from the warden after five years in federal prison. I stepped out into the blinding sun, expecting the same flash of paparazzi bulbs that had seen me dragged away in handcuffs, but there was only a single black limousine idling on the shoulder of the road. Inside sat my mother and sister, clutching champagne and looking at my frayed coat with pure disgust. They didn't offer a welcome home; instead, they tossed a thick legal document onto the table and told me I was dead to the city. "Gavin and I are getting engaged," my sister Mia sneered, flicking a credit card at me like I was a stray dog. "He doesn't need a convict ex-fiancée hanging around." Even after I saved their lives from an armed kidnapping attempt by ramming the attackers off the road, they rewarded me by leaving me stranded in the dirt. When I finally ran into Gavin, the man who had framed me, he pinned me against a wall and threatened to send me back to a cell if I ever dared to show my face at their wedding. They had stolen my biotech research, ruined my name, and let me rot for half a decade while they lived off my brilliance. They thought they had broken me, leaving me with nothing but an expired chapstick and a few old photos in a plastic bag. What they didn't know was that I had spent those five years becoming "Dr. X," a shadow consultant with five hundred million dollars in crypto and a secret that would bring the city to its knees. I wasn't just a victim anymore; I was a weapon, and I was pregnant with the heir they thought they had erased. I walked into the Melton estate and made an offer to the most powerful man in New York. "I'll save your grandfather's life," I told Horatio Melton, staring him down. "But the price is your last name. I'm taking back what's mine, and I'm starting with the man who thinks he's marrying my sister."
