I had only seen him from behind. That view was impressive but nothing compared to what I saw right now. His chest was broad and hard with ridges running down over his abdomen like a ladder. Fine hair sprinkled over his lower abs and a trail of it disappeared beneath his dress pants. Every move he made cause a ripple effect that had me mesmerized.
He pulled his belt free and unbuttoned his pants. They slithered down his legs and he stepped out of them and his shoes.
Naked now except for a pair of black boxers that hugged his body like a second skin, his huge erection strained against the fabric. He advanced like a panther, barely restrained power radiating from him.
He stopped less than a foot from me. "I want you naked."
He didn't ask me, he told me. For one second, I thought about saying no, but then I remembered his demands in the elevator. In this room, I was his. I reached behind me and found the short zipper along my lower back. It was all that held the dress in place.
The straps slid off my shoulders, then the dress fell in a silky pool on the floor.
Madden reached out and traced one finger in a lazy circle around my nipple. I sucked in a breath. He did the same to the other side, avoiding the now hardened tip. The desire that had cooled suddenly sprang to life again.
Despite the heat of the night, I shivered.
"You are beautiful, Skylar." His gaze rose until I was looking into intensely dark eyes "And tonight, you're mine. Come here."
I took a step forward and now we were only an inch apart. He lifted his hands and ran his fingers lightly up my sides. They danced over my shoulders, up my neck, and one hand tangled in the hair at the base of my neck, holding me still.
Madden lowered his head and his lips ghosted over my jaw. I closed my eyes with a low moan when he nipped at my earlobe. Moisture built between my legs and I shifted, trying for any amount of friction there.
Madden dropped his free hand and dug his fingers into my hip, anchoring me, keeping me from moving at all. He sucked on the skin just under my ear and my legs began trembling. I wanted to touch him, to taste him like he was doing to me, but I couldn't. Not while he held me in place
