Liam the only son to Leo, he is a handsome young billionaire who have wanted to delay his marriage, with claimed to have sleep with all the ladies in Singapore before getting Marry. His father planned on how to get him a wife, so he arrange Luna, who later made Liam fall in love with him.
Chapter 1 Leo want a wife for his son
Leo a widower and wealthy man of 69 who lives with his two children, Liam and Lynn, who were born to him by his late wife, Freya. Liam, his son, have refused marriage, instead goes around spending money with young ladies in Serangroon, Singapore, he claims enjoying his life.
"Why not speak to your brother? He is not getting old; he needs to marry, and minimize his rudeness" Leo said to Lynn as he sat on the cushion in the sitting room with a glass of wine in his hands.
"Father, this is not what you should be sorry about; he will settle down soon, and for his rudeness, that should be what we are to speak about. Nevertheless, I will talk to him." Lynn speaks gently as she assured him.
She made him calm down and have some rest; she also made sure that he was relaxed.
After that, she then went in to get showered while she joined him later in the sitting room.
After almost a hour, She came to join him in the sitting room, she sat before her him, and was watching a moving with him, while the wait the return of Liam at that hour of the night. Both waited and got so tired of waiting that they went to bed.
The next day, they realized that Liam hadn't slept at home; he had left office for a party, retuning earlier the morning.
"Most of what I tell you about my ways, I am a mature man, a man who requires his own privacy." Liam said to Lynn, who had first checked on him in his room, that morning while Leo was still asleep.
"Watch what you say, young man; you had me and dad awake last night waiting for your arrival, only to wake up and say you at home this morning. You never care to inform us of your ways. Liam, what is really wrong? She spoke to him, being the junior sister. Leo got to hear her voice; he traced where that was coming from and got to know that it was coming from Liam's room. When he opened the door and saw him so annoyed with Lynn, Leo interrupted.
"Liam, I have been watching your attitude in this house; you left the office after work only to see you here this morning, and when your sister talked, you yelled at her." Leo shouted at him
" Isn't she the manager? She has almost all the work done in the office, yet she returns home in town, but you, her assistance, end up returning the next day; this is not the first day or the second day you have been doing this." He speaks with anger.
"You made her successor over all your company and property; what do you expect from a man who you have left empty, but an assistant as you said? What do you expect me to do?" Liam asked.
"I am not yet dead, and I am not dying soon; you both are the lovely children my lovely wife has left me with. I have done everything in my power to see that you are stands more responsible, yet it seems as one pouring water upon the stone. She remains my manager, and that is final." He walked out of his room.
"And you, what are you still doing in my room? Use the door." He told Lynn.
Lynn, gently left his room and went in to get ready for the business of the day. While Liam went back to bed, he was already tired from the last night's party he had with a friend.
Lynn got to the office, kept her hands folded, and was asking herself a question. She was dressed in a beautiful way. As a young lady of 26 who is engaged to Lucas, she had to speak of her brother Attitude with Lucas, thesame Lucas that works in one of the company that belong to her father, he have come to have Lynn sign a file as the supreme heard.
"I am just disturbed that Liam has been a problem to my father; we have done everything possible to see that he became more responsible but all effort turns effortless; I don't just know."
"You know he is a young guy, Handsome and wealthy at thesame time, he be acting not be serious with life, yet he still workhard to earn what he spends on those gold diggers that call themselves his friends." Lucas spoke.
"That's where he thinks he is a man. You and I know that it was because of this that my dad had to make me the manager, though he still believes that Liam will change. But how, am just tired, he might raise one day and declare me the CEO, which will cause problem." She said, be so worried. Though she has the company controlled by her, which is not her choice, she needed Liam to act as a man and take over the position as the CEO when their father Leo is no more, even though he is known as the son of a billionaire, who is also a billionaire; he needed to wake up and do the needful. Moreover, despite what Liam exhibits-he is still hard-working and able to make wealth the more-he has also contributed to the growth of the company. His act of not getting married and misuse of resources were reasons why Leo had to withdraw him from certain privileges in the company.
Liam at his office three hours after taking his rest. And went to see Lynn. "I sent you an email while at home; have you checked on it?" He asked her rudely.
"I will do that later. Meanwhile, I want us to talk." She said to him:
"On what, seeing that this is business hour, why didn't you say so at home rather than yelling at me like a child?" He told her.
"I'm sorry, bro," she pleaded, he sat back while she continued, "why not come to the conclusion to be a change person? This attitude of yours will not do dad any good, instead cause him heart attack."
"I know father is doing this because I have refused to get married, and again, he thought I would be wasting his resources. But he should know that Liam is not ready for marriage.
If am to get married before be handded the position of a CEO in this company, he will have to extend his life span because I am not ready for marriage." He said.
"You need to do that, Liam; you are not getting younger; you are 34, and by next year you will be 35 years old. You have all it takes to have a good wife," she advised him.
"Just as I have said, I am not ready; I need to enjoy my life the more." He stood up to make a step further out from the office, "Please check the email." He then went to his office.
