"Hey, wait!" Klaus tried to stop Athena from watching the scene he had just seen, but he wasn't quick enough to stop her from seeing her boyfriend kissing her half-sister. ________ Athena had always been a simple and lovely girl, even when people hurt her heart. All that changed when she discovered that her boyfriend, Marcel, was cheating on her with her half-sister, Selena.

Chapter 1 Heartbroken

It was Atena and Marcel's one-year anniversary, and the girl could hardly contain her excitement as she crossed the college corridor with a smile on her face, ready to ask him out and celebrate this special date after classes.

The corridor was almost empty, everyone had left, so their steps were almost like dance steps.

They had known each other since high school, had similar tastes and had always got on well. Marcel is handsome so it didn't take long for Athena to fall in love; he, on the other hand, liked her kindness, her pure heart and her contagious joy.

No matter the situation, Athena always had an open heart.

They studied different things, so she had to walk to the other building to get to her classroom. The sky was orange, indicating an autumn sunset; this made Athena feel a little more relaxed.

She climbed the stairs and followed the corridor, seeing Klaus - one of Marcel's closest friends - standing in front of the door to the room where his boyfriend was studying, staring at something inside.

She wasn't a close friend of Klaus, even though they were always close to each other because of Selena, Athena's half-sister, and Marcel, they barely exchanged a word.

Although Klaus was popular with the girls because he was attractive, he was closed off and serious, and the only girl who made him feel comfortable enough to smile was Selena. Athena wondered if he liked her.

But what boy wouldn't?

Because of the lack of closeness between them, she didn't bother to greet him, she never had before.

However, Klaus looked in her direction and froze for a second. Which made Athena wonder at his actions. The few times the two exchanged glances it was as if Klaus hated Athena, his gaze always cold and hard. She never understood what was wrong with her that he could hate her.

But they weren't friends, so she couldn't come and ask what was wrong. So she just sneaked in front of him to get to the door.

"Hey, wait!" Klaus surprised Athena with his low, urgent voice, as his hand quickly went in front of her face, blocking her vision.

But it was too late.

Klaus hadn't been quick enough.

Although all Athena could see was the huge hand in front of her, the image she had seen inside the classroom had already been seared into her memory: Marcel and Selena kissing passionately, as if they were lovers.

Athena's heart stopped as the image of the two people she trusted most in the world replayed in her head. They were so involved with each other that they didn't even notice her and Klaus were there.

A tear trickled down Athena's cheek, even though she tried not to let it escape. Her heart ached as she had never felt it before.

Even though Klaus had been kind enough to block her vision, nothing could make her forget it.

"We should go, Tena must be waiting for me." A shock ran through Athena's body when Marcel's voice hit her.

Without thinking much about what she was doing, she grabbed Klaus' shirt and pushed him into the room behind them, so that Marcel and Selena wouldn't know she had seen them. She put him against the wall, hiding, and held his shirt tightly so that he wouldn't move.

"What are you doing?" Klaus' tone was surprised. But Athena didn't give him a chance to speak, she brought one of her hands up to his mouth so that he wouldn't give away that they were there. Although stunned, he gently grasped her wrists and held them against his chest, not knowing what to do.

Athena said nothing, just watched the other two leave the room like two lovers in love, oblivious to anything Klaus did.

"When are you going to break up with her?" The pain in Athena's heart was unparalleled when she heard her half-sister's voice.

How could they do this to her?

When the silence inevitably hit Athena, the tears came hard too. She sobbed, loudly, leaned her forehead against Klaus' chest and wept in anguish, feeling as if her heart had been stabbed.

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ “I want to get a divorce, Mark,” I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time—even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
