Claudia denigrated him on the first day she met him. He is the billionaire everyone feared and respected, but she splashed a drink on his face in a bar. "Congratulations Miss Claudia, you are now hired as the secretary of J&J fashion group". David Wilson declared, stretching out his hands. She wished the ground would open and swallow her, he is her boss and she couldn't back out because she needed the money. David had the mischievous smile on his face while Claudia quivered in regrets. I couldn't get you as mine but I got you as mine. Either way you are mine because I am your boss. Once again "Congratulations" "Thank you" she replied faintly.

Chapter 1 1

"I just can't do it anymore," David Wilson said to someone over the phone. I can't and this is going to be my last.

"Ok, if you say so, then so be it". The person at the other end of the phone said, sounding disappointed and a little bit convinced that David would still go contrary to his words.

David quickly hung up. He wasn't sure but at least he wanted to try again.

David Wilson Stood with his glass of wine in his hand, receiving fresh air and reminiscing about how many times he promised to stop womanizing. "This last one" he always says but ends up going on and never stopping.

He quickly dropped his glass of wine and took up his jacket as if he were in a hurry and car keys with a determined look and a sudden confidence assuring himself that this time around it was certainly going to be his last.

His car volumes were high and his speed was at max as he kept vibing to the music, nodding his head and clapping his hands. His loud voice and wrong lyrics didn't matter to him at all. He was just happy, perhaps it was going to be the last time.

He entered a restaurant and sat. All eyes were on him as his clothes designs were top notch and his perfumes unfurl the whole atmosphere and the waiters were asking a lot of questions at the same time.

"Welcome sir. What would you like to take sir ... excuse me, sir .., try out....."

David's eyes were still fixed in a direction. He couldn't hear all the voices. His mouth was slightly open in a gasp as he wondered where this woman had been all this while. In his mind, he already found his "last one" and he is dead serious.

Claudia was seated at the other end of the restaurant. It was her masturbating day and she decided to try that restaurant for the first time. She noticed when David Wilson walked in but wasn't interested anyway. She has this natural dislike for extremely influential people or maybe because she's yet to be there. Either way, she didn't care. It's none of her business.

She was taking a selfie to upload on her telegram when she noticed that David's eyes were in her direction. She looked behind her to confirm if there was someone else but there wasn't. Her eyebrows were raised in confusion. She muttered some words to herself and stood up.

Her legs bent a little as she tried to maintain her balance on her high heels. Her red short gown that exposed her thick thighs was what attracted David. It was an off-shoulder v-cut gown that exposed her cleavage too. As she approached the counter, the waiter looked up at her, "he sorted your bills already," the waiter said and pointed in billionaire David's direction.

"Thank you," she said as she waved her hands in his direction. Her face was straight and you could tell she wasn't impressed at all.

"Wait," he said. "Please wait. Can I talk to you for a moment, please.... You see my name is David and you just caught my attention..... I .... Hello" he kept talking trying to catch up with Claudia as she walked Away.

She finally paused. "What do you want?" she said in disgust, placing her hand on her forehead without turning back like she had had enough of it.

Last....I want you to be my last.... It's you, I'm sure

of it. I am trying to trace it all now and it's you. I could place a bet on that...

Please cut the crap! Are you insane or what? Is this some kind of joke? Is this some kind of delusion? You come from nowhere saying I'm the last. What are we counting? Where are the rest of the people? ... the first, second on so on.... Why are you numbering people? The anxiety was written all over her face and she couldn't hide it. I'm calling the cops, she said as she reached into her bag to get her phone.

"I'm David," he said in a calm tone. His eyes looked firm and he nodded gently as he adjusted his designer's tie and adjusted his suit jacket in a way that seemed like he was showing off while trying to make her comfortable and calm.

She chucked, opened her mouth a little in gasp, and tried to speak but the words weren't just cooperating. And so? She finally said with a smirk.

"And I want you," David said with more confidence than before.

You see. It might sound crazy but if you could follow me to the bar just miles away I would give a detailed explanation. He sounded polite this time.

Claudia was still for some minutes. A lot was running through her mind. How could she follow some stranger just like that? She looked at him and he gave her a cool smile.

"Ok," she said in a very low unconvincing tone.

He walked towards his Chevrolet Camaro and Claudia followed him behind. She had her doubts but she still followed him.

They reached the bar and the bartenders gave him the special attention as a VVIP. All these didn't impress Claudia. She just wanted to hear what the man had to say. She still had no idea while she followed him.

She was getting pale as looked at David." You have not said anything yet"

"What would you like to order?" he asked romantically as one would think they are a couple or in a romantic relationship.

She rolled her eyes in exasperation, this was taking longer than it should but she had no other option than to comply after all she had already started.

"Give me one shot of tequila, " she said

"Same with me," David said also.

At this point, David was sensitive enough to know if he didn't start talking, the atmosphere might change and then he cleared his throat. Making the closed mouth-pushing expression.

"I know you don't know me much but I love you". I fell in love with you immediately after I sighted you in the restaurant. I know this might sound crazy but you will get to know after we get married.

After we get married? Claudia asked sharply.

"Yes," he nodded continuously. "I have plans for you and our Children. I have enough money that we don't have to do family planning.

No way! Claudia shouted as she dropped her shot forcefully as though she would break the glass.

"You don't even know me" she continued "You don't know my name and don't know anything about me!" She paused and then smirked. She knew she wasn't meant to have followed him and kind of blamed herself for coming.

She stood up and tried to walk out and David held her hand.

She yanked her hand back and David pulled her back one more time.

She turned back with anger. Took the remaining from the glass of shot on the table and poured it right on his face.

"Ahhh! My eyes!" He exclaimed....

For seventeen years, I was the crown jewel of the Kensington empire, the perfect daughter groomed for a royal future. Then, a cream-colored envelope landed in my lap, bearing a gold crest and a truth that turned my world into ice. The DNA test result was a cold, hard zero percent-I wasn't a Kensington. Before the ink could even dry, my parents invited my replacement, a girl named Alleen, into the drawing room and treated me like a trespasser in my own home. My mother, who once hosted galas in my honor, wouldn't even look me in the eye as she stroked Alleen's arm, whispering that she was finally "safe." My father handed me a one-million-dollar check-a mere tip for a billionaire-and told me to leave immediately to avoid tanking the company's stock price. "You're a thief! You lived my life, you spent my money, and you don't get to keep the loot!" Alleen shrieked, trying to claw the designer jacket off my shoulders while my "parents" watched with clinical detachment. I was dumped on a gritty sidewalk in Queens with nothing but three trunks and the address of a struggling laborer I was now supposed to call "Dad." I traded a marble mansion for a crumbling walk-up where the air smelled of exhaust and my new bedroom was a literal storage closet. My biological family thought I was a broken princess, and the Kensingtons thought they had successfully erased me with a payoff and a non-disclosure agreement. They had no idea that while I was hauling trunks up four flights of stairs, my secret media empire was already preparing to move against them. As I sat on a thin mattress in the dark, I opened my encrypted laptop and sent a single command that would cost my former father ten million dollars by breakfast. They thought they were throwing me to the wolves, but they forgot one thing: I'm the one who leads the pack.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch—a titan of industry and my best friend’s father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.
