Thankfully, someone with a kind heart assisted me. I stopped at a large gate and peeked inside. I was a bit sweaty from the heat of the sun. The gate opened, and an old woman with a garbage bag came out. I approached her, and she looked at me. "Can I ask for some water?" I boldly asked, my face almost begging, feeling thirsty with only a hundred pesos left in my pocket. I'll budget it until I find a job, so for now, I'll beg for water from the lady staring at me. "Water?" I nodded, my eyes pleading, and she seemed compassionate, so she nodded. "Come inside," she said, and I followed her, my lips craving for cold water. The gate was grand, sturdy even when hit by a truck. The luxurious garden welcomed me, and I couldn't help but smile. "Is this lady living in a palace?" "Follow me," the fairy white-haired mother said. I followed her, my eyes sparkling at the marble floor, ready to smile and admire myself. The stairs were shiny, and you could practically smile and see your reflection. The kitchen door opened, and the spacious area was almost as big as a house in the province. "I'm grateful for the water," I said, taking the glass she offered. She placed the pitcher on the table, and I poured another glass. "May I have more?" I asked. "Sure, dear. Water is free." "Really? Can I take this with me?" "Yes, you can. I'll give you a bottle," she smiled as she searched for a container for my water. While she was busy, a phone rang in the living room. Pausing her search, she stood before turning to me. "I'll answer the call. Wait for me here," she instructed. I nodded, holding four glasses of water, standing near the table. I could even admire myself with the sparkling marble floor and the vast kitchen. Everything was neat and clean compared to the houses I've been to. "Here's the water," she said with a smile, handing me the glass. "May I take some more?" I requested. "Sure, dear. Water is free." "Really? Can I bring this?" "Yes, you can. I'll give you a bottle," I smiled at my fairy godmother while she searched for a container for my water. But as she was busy, a phone rang in the living room. Realizing she was occupied, she stood up before turning to me. "I'll answer the call. Wait for me here," she said. I nodded, holding four glasses of water, standing near the table. I could even admire myself with the sparkling marble floor and the vast kitchen. Everything was neat and clean compared to the houses I've been to. I gazed around the kitchen, impressed. Unlike the places I've been to, this one was spotless. The kitchen's tiled floor was white, and there were two large refrigerators on the side, next to a half-naked man. "Wow!" I exclaimed, thinking he was a handsome ghost. He wasn't. He wore only a towel around his waist to cover his lower body. "Can you help me find my longsleeve?" he asked in English. I thought my encounters with nosebleed-inducing people were over, but apparently not. "I can't find my favorite longsleeve. Can you look for it?" he continued. "But I'm not—" "I don't want to ruin my hair. Just find it and go back to your work," he said, pulling up my sleeves. He was indeed good-looking. I couldn't believe I was in a celebrity's room, especially a shirtless one. "Make it quick, yaya." I pointed to myself, unsure if I heard him correctly. After looking around, I grabbed the white longsleeve I spotted earlier. "Why are you so fast to find this?" he asked, looking puzzled. I wanted to say that eyes should do the searching, not the mouth, but I didn't know how to express that in English. I might embarrass myself. "What are you waiting for? Dress me up and don't bother to mess my hair," he ordered. I was stunned. After dressing him, I planned to leave immediately. However, just as I finished, he stood up and placed the phone on the bed. Without any regard for my presence, he lowered the towel, completely ignoring me. And that was the first day I encountered a cobra's life. I rushed downstairs, carrying my suitcase, and sprinted along the street. I bent over and gasped for breath, feeling my heart pound

Chapter 1 1

Cordaphia Pov.

(Wanted)

"Does it still hurt?" I shook my head at the fairy god mother as she treated my wound, she took care of me after Voog blue eyes took me to the guest room.

He had just come out a while ago, someone called his cell phone and that's when he lost his worry.

While I was sitting restlessly, I didn't see the next cobra. Because blue eyes passed him that's why we couldn't talk anymore.

I snorted, why are we talking? He didn't care about his surroundings and didn't really pay attention to the folding of his longsleeve.

thx,

"Why did you leave so soon?" My nose grew longer at the fairygod mother's question.

"N-because I saw a cobra.."

"Huh?" I looked away, he bandaged my elbow and wrapped it with white tape. It hurts but you can move it.

I smiled at the lady. "Thank you, I'm sorry for the trouble.."

"There's nothing, seniorito stuart won't pass you by because of what happened here.."

Stuart?

Is two arts.

Two drawings?

"By the way, can I ask for water before leaving?"

"Are you leaving?"

"Yes, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience, I need to find a job so I'm leaving.."

The lady nodded. "Wait for seniorito first.."

I sighed, he put the equipment away and stood up before placing the kit in the cabinet.

After a few seconds, the door opened on its own and spat out the blue eyes.

"Is your wound all right?" he immediately came to me, I couldn't take his form as if he worked for a big company, his clothes were stylish and he smelled even better.

"O-yes.." who wouldn't stutter to a man who is fragrant and handsome. I'm not sure what kind of smell I have, he even picked me up earlier.

”I'm sorry about what happened, I didn't think you would suddenly cross earlier..” I snorted, that's right. It's my fault because I got addicted to the ice cream I saw.

"A-it's okay, it's my fault.."

"It`s my fault too, my fault too.."

"No, I'm the only one to blame.." he smiled at me.

"I was the one who bumped into you, it's my fault that you got hurt.."

"If I don't cross, you won't hit me.."

"But I have a control, I didn't brake immediately so it's my fault too.."

"Alright, it's your fault.." I cried before standing up, because he was bending over me and all he had to do was touch my forehead to his.

"I'm leaving, thank you."

"I prepared food; you should eat first before you leave."

"I-I'm not really h-hungry..." I replied, though my stomach growled, betraying my hunger.

"Your tummy is screaming," he said. I avoided eye contact, embarrassed by my noisy stomach.

I hugged myself. Goosebumps.

"I-I need to go. I'll just take the food with me."

He smiled, nodding, then turned to my fairy godmother.

"Packed her foods, auntie," she nodded. I glanced at the old woman, surprised by the term.

"Is she your aunt?"

He looked at me. "Nope, I just call her auntie. I don't like 'manang' or 'yaya.'"

I nodded, assuming he was a relative. But apparently not; he just respects her. But who is this handsome cobra?

Are they siblings?

Fairy godmother handed me the food, and I left the mansion. Handsome Blue Eyes offered to walk me, but he got called away.

I thanked him and walked alone, not asking about them. Fairy godmother even gave me a tumbler of water.

Again, I traversed the hot road, distancing myself from that mansion. I stopped at the church where I bought bibingka earlier, entered, and sat in a corner.

There, I opened the food, savoring its aroma. I bit my lip and made the sign of the cross before eating.

"Thank you, Lord, for the food."

I stayed in the church that day, eating the abundant food fairy godmother sent twice. I was full until the church closed at night.

A lady allowed me to rest there, probably a church servant. I sighed, watching the big electric fan above.

As it spun, the lady opened what was on top. I smiled. I wanted to thank her, but she was gone before I could see her again.

Oh, sorry about that. Life has been tough, and I'm not asking for anything fancy, but my situation has left me feeling sorry for myself. I can't support my grandparents and even neglected my younger sibling. They're in the province with our grandmother, and we're now orphans after our parents, who worked as cooks on a ship, tragically died when their vessel sank. I woke up with a heavy heart, thinking about my sibling, grandmother, and grandfather. After a quick wash at the church, I left feeling grateful to the caretaker. However, outside, people seemed to stare, even the rice cake vendor who usually ignores me. I wondered if my appearance had changed or if I now looked like Angelina. Someone pointed at me, asking if I was her. Confused, I avoided them and quickened my pace.

I'm not familiar with Manila and often roam around in search of work. Suddenly, people started following me, and I couldn't understand why. They claimed they saw "that woman," and for some reason, they were chasing me without explanation. Fearful, I ran and managed to escape into a restaurant, locking myself in. I saw the pursuers pass by, and I finally breathed a sigh of relief. I asked the lady at the restaurant if I could order, and to my surprise, she recognized me from a photo. She insisted I join her, saying she could make money from me. Panicking, I asked how, and she showed me a wanted poster. Turns out, I've been wanted since yesterday, and Villegas Company is looking for me. The poster stated a reward, leaving me shocked and confused about why they're after me.
