Carmen's POV

I stared at his tousle dark hair and gleaming blue eyes, I was lost in thought until Nina, my only friend tapped me to come back to my right senses.

"I'm sorry." I mumbled softly before excusing myself for Khan to pass.

With one last stare at my boobs which I noticed as his eyes burned a hole in my chest. He chuckled before he moved on to his initial destination, which was interrupted when I unintentionally stopped him. My heart beat proliferate and I could feel a sharp pain in my tummy.

"What the hell is wrong with? You know so well that he can murder and no one will question him." Nina scolded me getting mad at my attitude. Yeah, it was just a mistake, I also know how dangerous Khan can be.

"I'm sorry Nina, I know you may not believe me but Khan is my mate. I can feel it." I muttered silently while Nina thought I was finally crazy. I hoped she could feel what I felt some moments ago.

It's true that Khan hadn't seen his mate throughout his whole twenty two in dark moonpack as goes by the rumor, I'm surprised myself to find out that I'm his mate, but no one would believe that a mere omega like me was his mate.

"You need to be checked by a doctor, baby." Nina finally replied my suprising words after staring at me disgustingly. She hissed and walked faster leaving me behind, I guess she thinks I'm joking.

I'm Carmen Casillas, a timid omega in dark moon pack, the weakest in the pack. My parents died while I was just three years, so I had spent approximately fifteen years as an orphan.

'She's beautiful' others usually whisper behind me, I could have been referred as the most beautiful wolf in the pack, but I wasn't for two reasons. One, the current Luna is way more beautiful that I am, also the people bullied me because I couldn't shift to her wolf at this ripe age of mine.

Thanks to Nina, my best friend who stood by me always, if not I may had committed suicide. I turned around to get glimpse of him, but he was gone already. I'm sure of it, he's my mate, when I collided with him, I knew and recognize the shock I felt, he must have felt the same.

"I'm serious, but if you don't wanna believe it, then just forget that I mentioned it." I snapped, breathing heavily due to running, trying to catch up with Nina.

"I don't believe you but I wanna hear more about it." Nina purred, her fingers curvy around my neck trying to tease me, but I beat it away with a slight frown.

He poured wine into the glasscup till the cup was full, and fell on the table.

"Khan, what are you thinking about?" Khan's slut, Vida whispered sliding her fingers down to his back caressing it softly. She glued her lips to the back of his neck.

"I met my mate today." Khan muttered showing he was depressed, he turned over facing Vida. Vida removed her hand from his body slowly getting shocked from the news.

"I... I don't get you." Vida said with her voice shaking visibly. "You met your mate?" She asked rhetorically already knowing the answer to it. She sat back on the bed and sighed heavily.

"I know you and I know you are amount to do. Don't near her, don't hurt her, not at all." Khan snarled at her knowing the evil in her. His words were like a knife to his heart, tears cascaded her eyeballs slowly.

With the room getting intense, he moved her trying his best to be the brave guy he use to be.

'What are we going to do about this?' Layla, Vida's wolf asked feeling concerned, it knew Vida was really broken.

Khan Dela-Torres is the son of the great, famous and feared alpha of dark moon pack, Dave Dela-Torres. Khan took after his father at everything. Face, physique, emotion, way of judgement.

He had finally met his mate whom he was waiting for since he was eighteen, his father had refused to abdicate the alpha seat to him if he doesn't find his mate.

'What else can I do? I'll make sure I murder her, whoever she may be.' Vida growled evilly rubbing her thumb against her middle finger.

'The Luna was always of me and Khan, I'm sure she won't let this slide, she might suggest I be the Luna, then that mate trash be my junior.' She thought within herself speaking to her wolf.

'Great idea, but what about his father? But, why are you greedy on becoming the Luna? You can let his mate be the Luna and you'll be his lover. Also, if you plan to murder his mate, it will affect him negatively.' Layla explained trying to put her on a godly path.

'Will you just keep shut if you have nothing better to say? It's better no one have him than losing to his so called mate, have been with him for the past three years.' Vida snapped angrily with a wicked smirk setting her plan A and plan B together.

I woke up immediately, while I was sweating profusely. It was a dream, yeah my dream. I had the gift to dream about my unclear past, present and future since I was ten, I think the moon goddess gave it to me since she denied me of meeting and communicating with my wolf. I think this is my future.

I have to plan fast since I already know Vida's plan. Vida is well known to be Khan's love, but this was because he had not met his mate, but now things will change. I'll officially announce that I am the mate of the next Alpha of dark moon pack, I hope he won't reject me cause I'm a mere omega.

"You mean you wanna sneak into the pack house to meet him?" Nina asked not believing her ears while I nodded positively not getting discouraged by anything she said, I smiled to cheer myself up. "Wake up, Carmen. Stop acting dumb, he can't even know you're his mate." Nina said and bursted into laughing almost crushing herself on the floor. I frowned, but it faded drastically.

"Why? Why can't he know? He must have felt it when I touched him." I muttered, now coming to reality to me that he may not have felt what I felt.

"Bla bla bla, where's your wolf? Without your wolf, can he feel the mate bond?" Nina asked rhetorically before landing into another round of laughter.

"That's not my concern, I'm going to meet him, this is my last hope Nina, why are you making jest of me?" I asked, now becoming angry, a drop of tears dropped down on my cheek ruining the makeup I put on earlier.

"I'm sorry for making you cry, it just doesn't make any sense, that you, an ordinary Omega is the mate of the legendary Khan, the future alpha of dark moon pack." Nina apologized but she couldn't control the laughter that was battling with her, so she end up laughing at me again.

"There you go again, is it a crime been an omega?" I mumbled, before cleaning her tears, and trying to walk out.

"Where are you going to? Miss mate" She teased still laughing. Carmen stared at her angrily as tears rushed down her face.

"Just keep shut if you don't believe me!!!" She screamed, jammed the door and ran out.

I sat carefully on a rough rock resting on a tree, all the warrior wolves cooed at me as usual when they passed. I raised her head up when it was almost night, facing the bright moon as it shone so bright and beautiful, with tears soaked in my round shaped eyeballs.

My eyes was swollen due to the tears that came out of my face earlier.

'Sorry, Carmen. Can you hear me?' Tracy whispered, I needed no prophet to tell me that it was the voice of my wolf.

'Is that you? My wolf?' I quickly asked back hoping for a positive answer. Somehow, I just knew how to communicate with my wolf.

'Yes, I'm Tracy' She sounded frantic.

'Is that really you? Where were you all this while?' I asked, with a slight frown as I cleaned my tears gleefully.

'I'm not here fully, the moon goddess sent me here to join you with our mate.' She said trying to be straight forward and specific.

'Does that mean you are not here permanently? I asked again, my happy mood changed again.

'Something like that, and that's because I'm a preemie wolf. Let's go before its too late.' She muttered urging Carmen to stand up which she did immediately

I looked up at the cloud, it was almost night. The light and brightness of the moon has been drastically reduced by darkness. I walked as fast as my legs could carry me trying not to be late as my wolf said earlier. I made sure to avoid the warrior wolves, because they could question me.

About getting into the main building, I saw someone dressed in all black, also covering his head with a black hoodie covered with fur.

'That's him, mate' Tracy almost screamed excitedly.

Happily, I followed him carefully so as not to bring his notice about me behind him, at a point I crept and tiptoed drastically reducing my steps when he looked back. I could see him asking people different questions, I ended up at my own house while following my mate.

"I knew it, he's looking for me." I beamed with joy, chuckling and blushing simultaneously.

Khan removed the hoodie and knocked, he knocked and knocked again but no reply since Nina was also not at home.

"Are you looking for me?" I asked, with an innocent and brave look, but deep inside my heart pounded heavily.

I opened the door for him to come in, and we both sat on the bed, there's no chair in my room except for a brown stool. He looked around nodding with a smile that made me blushing scarlet. He draped his hoodie covered with fur on one of my hangers.

"Let me get you something to drink." I finally uttered after a minute of silence between both of us.

I stood up to get a cup but Khan grabbed my wrist and draw me back to him in full force, I landed right on his chest. I stared at his green eyes glittering in the dark, burning with passion.

I tried my best to resist him so as not to look cheap, but my body instincts was saying otherwise. His lips crushed against mine, he sucked my lower lips like his life fully depends on it.

I gave him full control over myself, I closed my eyes while he kept on performing magics.

"I need you, Aw.... " I murmured, pressing a trail of kisses along my jaw down to my neck softly. I shivered.

I pulled him back, staring into his eyes. He met my gaze hungrily; he bit my lips softly till a drop of blood dropped on his tongue, he licked it off. I wince a little which he noticed, he smirked wonderfully.

He kissed me gently and passionately. His hand curled in my hair, I moaned into his mouth in full pleasure.

"You're sweet." He rasped, pulling me closer. Electricity cracked in every thin gap between there bodies. My spine tingled. My desire for him was urgent, desperate.

It was dizzying, intoxicating and I couldn't resist him; even though I was whacked. He was wild and frenzied.

He caressed every part of my body slowly and softly, I lost myself to him, been the first time in my life, I felt utterly content. I was safe and fulfilled.

I was so happy until I woke up the next day, only to find out that my mate was gone. 'Where's he? Can you help me with that, Tracy?' I inquired from my wolf with a soft and whacked voice. My wolf didn't answer, I was shocked. 'Tracy! Tracy!! Tracy!!!" I called out with my voice shaking visibly, tears which I thought would never came out again rushed out without control.
