Sold To Him Chapter 1 Episode 1

Sarah

Papa, Mama, wake up, please!

Tears stung my eyes as my parents laid helplessly on the ground, we were just returning from the casillias ranch at Costra Nostra, when our car got in the middle of a shoot out between two different cartels, we shrieked in fear,as papa slowed down the car, and turned the steering wheel to revise.

Then we heard a loud sound from our car, it was from one of the tyres, which had just been deflated by a fired bullet.

We panicked, and let out a helpless cry, papa held his grip firmly to the steering wheel and stepped on the brakes, immediately it let a screeching sound as it moved in full speed, he clenched his hands on the steering wheel as he tried to gain control, we reached a speed bump and he tried to slow down but the car screeched to a halt, causing a tyre to roll off and immediately, the car rolled over_well that's all i can remember.

I shrieked in fear, my eyes all welled up in tears, I crawled to my parents who were lying still on the ground, their bodies all bruised up and covered with blood

__ ,"open your eyes please".Tears rolled down my eyes,I tied to stand but I couldn't move from the bruises on me,I turned to our car, it was all wrecked up an d covered with smoke, my face was covered with blood from the injury on my head side, I looked around quickly to get help but dizziness struck me and I collapse right to the ground.

I opened my eyes slowly and saw a pair of white eyes staring at me.

I looked around in shock.

"Where am i?" I asked and winced as a sharp pain short through my head.

"You're in the hospital" a voice replied.

I looked up to the person, it was uncle Delvin.

He looked at me with scrutinizing eyes, as I tried to sit up straight.

I remembered my parents

I gasped

"Papa, Mama, where are they?" I asked with teary eyes.

He didn't reply.

_dove sono i mie genitori?_ "where are my parents?" I asked again,my heart thudding widely against my chest.

He huffed and closed his eyes.

"What happened?" I blurted with a sob.

Sighs

"You need to rest" he replied and leaves the room.

Immediately tears clouded my eyes,my thoughts became foggy and perplexing as i was filled with so much curiosity about my parents,i tried to stand,but my legs;

They were stiffened.

A lady walked into the room, by her appearance I could tell she was a nurse.

"How are you feeling?" she asked with a smile.

"I want to see my parents" I blurted staring at her with teary eyes.

She lowered her gaze to the floor and sighed, she raised her head and looked at me, her face filled with pity.

Smiles

"You're recovering quick" she said trying to wave it off.

"What happened?," I cut, "please tell me" I begged anxious to know.

She budge

"It's alright" she replied, by her tone, I could tell something was wrong and I got fed up with the wavery.

"Where are my parents?" I yelled anxiously, I could hear heart beating loudly and faster against my chest.

"They're dead" uncle Delvin replied standing at the door.

He drifted into the room

"They didn't survive the accident" he added and stopped.

"WHAT!"

A grin plastered my face,"No" I muffled and immediately tears started rolling down my cheeks.

"NO, Papa, Mama"

I was sobbing hard now, the top of my blouse was drenched with tears, immediately uncle Delvin and the nurse lady excuse themselves and leaves the room.

"Why?," "it can't be"

"NO"

I held my head in disbelief and cried out loud, the news struck me hard, like a shattering blow,I cried my eyes out and my head began to ache,my eyes were already swollen from so much crying.

I leaned back on the bed and rested my head on the pillow, I closed my eyes and drifted to Dreamland.

1hour later.

I opened my eyes as the nurse lady tapped me, and sat up straight but this time,I didn't feel any pain,my legs they weren't stiffened and the pain on my head was slight.

"Feeling better" she asked.

I didn't reply, i was too weak and sad to speak.

"You've recovered so fast, and I've got some news for you" she said.

I've had enough bad news for today,I didn't want to hear it, if it was bad news I thought to myself.

"You've been discharged" she said with a smile, then Uncle Delvin walked into the room.

"Excuse us"he said and immediately the nurse lady leaves the room, he sits on a stool beside me.

"How are you feeling?" he asked with concern.

I tried to speak but i muffled.

" re you feeling better?" he asked.

I nodded with a sob.

Sigh

"Where are their bodies"I managed to ask.

"In the cemetery, they've already been buried"he said in a soft tone and immediately tears began welling up in my eyes, I wasn't even given the chance to see them and say goodbye to them

"You have been discharged, we're leaving in an hour" he said as he stood up and leave the room to take a call.

"We!" I muttered as his words stunged me, my parents were gone, I had no one at home, and the last thing I wanted , was to live with Uncle Delvin, I shrieked.

I just couldn't stand his family, his wife Maria; who had a deep seated disdain for me.It was clear to me that she never liked me, and his daughter Kayla: "Urgh",

I was never comfortable around his family, the nurse lady entered the room with some clothes on her hand, she stared at my swollen eyes and sighed in pity.

"I brought some clothes for you" she said with a smile in a friendly tone.

I looked at her and huffed.

"I'm sure they will fit just right" she flustered looking at me to hear my reply, I nodded and immediately she helped me get up and I wore the clothes, it was a light pink blouse and blue jeans, the jeans were a bit loose, and also comfy.

"t fits you perfectly she said all smiley, I knew she was trying to cheer me up, but that was the last thing I wanted.

Then Uncle Delvin entered the room with a man, the man wore a black shirt, tucked in a black jean, with a pair of thick black boots. I spotted the gun inserted in a hostler behind his back and immediately I knew he was one of Delvins guard.

"We leave now Delvin said.

"No" I blurted and sat on the bed with a grin on my face.

He glared at me ferociously, "You have no choice Sarah" he said and signaled his guard to bring me.

"Pedro" he called

_Si capo_ "yes boss".Pedro replied.

"Bring the girl" he ordered and immediately, Pedro walks to me grabs my arm.

"Let's go Miss" he said with a husky voice.

Six years ago, I was a naive girl sold by my father to the powerful Sanders estate, only to be tossed onto the streets after a brutal assault they labeled "marital infidelity." I fled the country pregnant and broken, hiding from the shadow of a husband I had never even met. Now, I’ve returned to New York with my triplets to sign the final divorce papers and disappear forever. But Archibald Sanders—the man I was told was a crippled recluse—intercepted us with the cold precision of a predator. He didn't see the woman his family destroyed; he saw a gold-digger who had shamed his name. His security team hunted us to a grimy motel, using tactical force to snatch my children away and drag me to his glass-walled empire. In his office, he loomed over me, demanding a DNA test and threatening to throw me in prison while my babies were lost to the foster system. He was convinced I’d cheated, yet he stared at my sons with a haunting confusion, unable to ignore the stormy blue eyes that were a perfect mirror of his own. I stood there, paralyzed by his scent—the sharp tang of rain and expensive leather that triggered the icy dread of my worst nightmares. How could he accuse me of betrayal when he felt exactly like the monster who had shattered my life in that dark hotel room? "I'll sign anything," I sobbed, "just give me my kids." But the game changed when my five-year-old son hacked the tower’s security, holding the skyscraper hostage to save me. In the chaos, a fragile, silent boy—Archibald’s secret son—wandered into the room and reached for me as if I were his missing soul. Archibald’s face turned to stone as he tore up the agreement and locked the doors. "Until I find out why my son is looking at you like that," he growled, "you aren't going anywhere."

One Night With The Wrong Brother

I thought I was waking up in the arms of Arthur, the man I loved. But as the morning light hit the Hamptons estate, the man buttoning his cuffs by the window turned around with eyes like chips of ice. It was Augustus Riddle, Arthur’s cruel younger brother, and I had just spent the night whispering confessions of love into the wrong man's ear. The night I thought was a beautiful beginning turned into a devastating nightmare. Instead of comfort, Gus treated me like a stain on his expensive carpet, scribbling a check for "services rendered" before shoving me into a dark service corridor to hide my existence from his brother. "How much does it cost to buy your silence?" He sneered, before leaving me barefoot in a torrential downpour while he drove away in a luxury Cadillac. Four years later, I am a struggling actress in Los Angeles, working double shifts as a barista just to keep the lights on. My life was finally stable until my roommate dragged me to a high-end dinner to meet her new "influential" boyfriend. The man sitting at the table, looking more arrogant and lethal than ever, was Augustus. He spent the entire night humiliating me, calling me a pathetic amateur and a social climber in front of my only friends. When I fled into the rain and collapsed on the sidewalk, skinning my knee until I bled, he watched from his car. He saw me clutching a plastic baggie containing the taped-together pieces of that four-year-old check—the only proof of my shame. He looked at me like roadkill, rolled up his window, and drove off into the dark. I couldn't understand why he was doing this. Why did he hate me enough to crush me, yet remember that I couldn't handle the smell of cigarette smoke? Why did he leave me bleeding in the street, only to send expensive medical supplies and coffee to my door the very next morning? "I'm moving out." I told my roommates, realizing that Gus Riddle didn't just want to destroy me; he wanted to haunt me. I grabbed my suitcase and walked out with eighty dollars to my name, finally ready to disappear into the city before he could burn the rest of my life to the ground.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.
