Muffled noises could be heard inside a lit room in a little house. Two girls, tied and gagged made groaning sounds as the two thugs grinned at the pleasure of hearing them groan in pain. Both brunettes but had two coloured eyes. "Boss, what do we get to do to them today? I feel hard just thinking about the fun I got to have yesterday" "Patience Marcus" The boss kept quiet as he studied the other girl, she hardly spoke or made sounds expect for the occasional groans, she almost seemed......lifeless. He wanted her tears, he got off on making little girls swirm. His cellphone vibrated and signalled to the other to come with him. They left, closing the door but a few minutes later, Marcus came back in, the urge to touch both girls was too much for him making his hard on form a dent in front of his pants, smiling, he began to touch both girls. He did this for a while and left leaving the door open. Making the conversation on the other side audible. "No mistakes", a foreign male voice said. "Of course, anything for your satisfaction" the boss replied. Footsteps echoed around making the girls shake in fear. The girl with heterochromia twisted to have a better view of the door and squinted as the man passed by, the foreigner's face covered. ' Was this her captor? Was all this happening to them because of this stranger? And what was that on his hand?' She looked up as the boss's eyes met with hers and giving her a wink, turned the lights off and shut the door. Leaving them in the darkness. 6 years later, The past still torments her. Will she ever find out who did this to her? And with old friends becoming enemies....her life keeps getting worse but life finally smiles on her giving her....love

Chapter 1 Introduction

* 6 Years Later*

Maya stared at the mirror after putting in her contacts. Even with the contacts, her eyes still looks soulless, sighing she picked up her backpack and pushed her room door open, the house feels lonely with her dad gone though her mother is still very much alive, she occupies herself with the church, she can't bring herself to look at her own daughter after......the incident.

"I won't cry, I won't cry" she chanted this to herself, forcing down the bitter memory while walking to school, thankful it was close to home.

MEMORIAL HIGH

The words bold and plated in silver at the front of the majestic building. Students moved in groups, laughing and smiling, talking about everything from the lastest fashion to the hottest gossip. A hush seemed to echo round immediately she entered the halls, students threw mocking looks her way avoiding to touch her like she had an infection. The only person who spoke to her was.....

'Maya!!!' a squeaky voice shouted her name, making everyone look at her, the girl ran forward hugging her. "I have missed you" she squealed, her rainbow dyed hair bouncing.

"Hey Vi", Maya replied hugging her best friend. " You always lock yourself up inside Maya, come out with me for once, it will help you loosen up".

"I can't be like you, it's just...not me okay"

" Is it because of what happened? It's in the past Maya, stop letting it define you and how you live your life"

Maya looked down, tears glistening in her eyes, she blinked them away, heaving a shaky breath. Vi gently took her hand and said " Come onnnn, please for me. Ethan's party next Saturday at 9. We can start there".

"A ....a party? Vi? You go to parties?

"Where else will I spend my free time? At a church?" She said chuckling.

This made Maya frown slightly.

"Maya, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to refer to your mom"

" It's okay, I'll think about it"

"Great" Vi beamed and scuttled away shouting. " If you decide to come, don't come dressed as a fish okay, dress sexy". Maya laughed softly, remembering her middle school dance, she had dressed as a piranha.

While she reminsced, the tardy bell rang, she immediately put in her locker combination and grabbed her trigonometry textbook and rushed off to class. She pushed the door open and was unsurprised at the snickering even from the teacher. ' Just a few more months' she thought settling into her seat.
