Honey-Shit Chapter 1 This Is So Crazy

AYANA'S POV

Crazy bad!

I won't lie that today is the worst day of my life. I don't know what kind of mistake I made when God punished me this badly. I'm so upset, I swear!

I'll tell you one by one about my bad luck today, which I think is really excessive. In my opinion, there is not a single day that is more annoying than today. Fon't tell me I'm exaggerating!

First, let me introduce myself. You can call me Ayana. And now it's time for me to tell you about the problems that came like a bomb. By the way, it's Tuesday.

My first problem is that I'm late for school. Maybe this is too cliché. But believe me, I didn't wake up late. This is all because of the traffic jam this morning. But that's not too bad, and it's understandable.

Let's move on to my second problem.

Because I came to school late, I got punished for sweeping the backyard. Oh my gosh, is it really bad? The yard has a lot of dry leaves. Remember, I'm a student, not a school cleaner. It's really annoying to be reminded of this.

My problems didn't stop there, and my third problem made me feel like my head was going to burst. How could I not be upset? I arrived late, and then I was told to clean up the yard with garbage that was probably equal to my sins, and then I added this. It's really bad luck today. Do you want to know what it is?

I forgot that today is the last day to submit the practicum assignment that was given two weeks ago by my teacher. Damn it, where last night I even played my phone. My life is really bad. Being a rock seems better, I can relax all the time.

Okay, I think I have to take a breath first.

Next, jump to my fourth problem. All my life, when it comes to pocket money, I won't forget to put it in my bag or wallet. But this time, I completely forgot to bring it and left it on the kitchen table. Oh my! I'll just wait for whoever it is. How unlucky my life is!

How terrible is my problem today? Already arrived late, then punished for sweeping, suddenly there was a teacher's assignment from two weeks ago and I stupidly forgot, then added my pocket money was left behind?

Can I shout loudly? Can I? Okay, I'll shout.

HOLY SHIT!

Okay, I'm pretty relieved now.

And my only wish at that time was that it would rain money so I could eat at the cafeteria with my friends. I wanted to borrow from them, but I was embarrassed. My friends must also have a small allowance, right?

Don't think my bad luck stops there. No, there's more. And this is my last problem today, but the problem that I think is the worst can't be ignored.

You want to know what it is?

So here it is, coming home from school. I was surprised by my mom's statement that soon I would be engaged to a doctor.

Yes, the doctor who treats sick people. Ah, my misery is complete today. I'm actually still confused. What is the purpose of my mom setting me up with that man?

I don't have any plans to get married in the near future! I still want to be free, like my friends. The doctor looks much older than me again.

And what exactly was my mom thinking?

Just because he's a doctor, does that guarantee my happiness in the future? That's not the concept!

I'm the one who lives my life, why is my mom busy choosing a soul mate for me? I already have a boyfriend anyway!

The point is, I don't want to get engaged or married to those old man! No way, I'll refuse whatever the reason is. It's really disgusting to be a young wife!

Just because he's a doctor, it's so easy for him to seduce me? That's how unclean he is.

Bad bad bad bad.

It's really bad.

This can't happen! After all, I'm still in high school, my future is still bright, my life journey is still long, and there are many pleasures that I have to try one by one.

Instead, I was told to get engaged by that shucks doctor. What a bummer!

In addition to being confused about the way my mom was willing to bait her own daughter with him, I was also confused about what the doctor was thinking.

Who does he think he is to dare ask me to be his wife? I swear, my head is spinning thinking about this. There are many women who are the same age as him, but why is he even eyeing me, who is still in high school? Why?

You'll see, I'll do anything to make him feel bad for me and think twice about making me his wife. He'll change his mind. I guarantee it.

In the evening, I went to my mom's room to make sure once again about the engagement. Who knows, right, if my mom has been bitten by the devil?

I knocked on her door three times, until finally her voice came from inside. Good! She hasn't slept yet.

"Come in, the door is unlocked," my mom said.

Don't wonder why my mom knows that I knocked on the door. My mom and I live together. My dad passed away when I was in middle school, and until now, I haven't really let go. I still feel sad. But it's okay, I'll just pray for the best for my dad. Shouldn't I be immersed in endless sadness when I still have a lot of happiness?

After getting instructions from my mom, I stepped into my mom's spacious room. I saw her in front of the dressing table applying night cream.

"What's wrong?" she asked quietly, looking at me through the mirror. Meanwhile, I let out a rough sigh and decided to sit on my mom's bed.

"I have something to talk to you." I replied spontaneously. I tried my best to make my voice sound annoyed.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"You should know!" I said angrily, "It's about that annoying fiancé. Are you serious about setting me up with him?"

I saw my mom let out a long sigh, before she finally turned around and looked at me tiredly. "Ayana, this is for your own good."

Shit, what a classic answer.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

Flash Marriage To My Best Friend's Father

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.
