Chapter 1 1

I looked behind my uncle, behold" it was the same girl I was chasing earlier on the street. The same girl that went into the air.

The fact that she disappear while I was chasing to get her number couldn't get off my head.

I hope my uncle is safe, this girl doesn't look like a human.

Hi, she greeted.

Welcome... I answered pretending not to have seen her before. But I will have to discuss with my uncle later.

My uncle signal to me.

I pick my shirt and phone. I left them in the room and went to sanitize the street.

I walk back to the compound after a while. I was trying to locate the compound bathroom and other things when I sighted a room locked with a big padlock and a danger sign.

I look down to the and saw "DON'T COME CLOSE" written at the bottom.

I was wondering what could be the reason for all the warnings.

Maybe, the landlord was trying to scare the tenant off.

He must have kept something in the room not wanting anyone to see.

Maybe, he is a ritualist. I said to myself and left.

I don't give a fuck about the warnings, I will get close to the door and enter once am done.

I got to the toilet and ease myself, I walk outside and saw my uncle leaving with the girl.

I shake my head the negative way and smile, we both resemble our dad.

I walk back to the room and saw a white note on my bag.

My uncle wouldn't let me rest again, I hope the note doesn't contain grind pepper, sweep floor, peel yam or other house chaos.

I picked up the note but I was seeing something else, it wasn't from my uncle, the girl dropped it.

I hope my uncle didn't see this, "CALL ME 07********" she wrote.

She even add her number. What is she up to.

This girl must be so dangerous and I need to act fast so my uncle won't fall into her traps.

I squeeze the note and threw it out through the window.

My uncle arrived with two plates of food, he place one to my front and held the second to himself.

He unpack the food and was about eating when I asked about the mysterious door.

I asked him why the door was locked with warnings.

Hope you haven't get close? he asked.

Nope... what?

The story attached to the door and the entire room was a bad one. Different types of people were trapped in there, he explained.

But, have you witness it yourself? I asked.

No, but the living witness share the ghost news, even the landlady lost her life in there, my uncle said.

How? but the landlord still lives.

Yes, the landlord must have been gone too, but he was on a journey when it all started, according to the story. The landlady went into the room when she noticed the tenant was stucked in for days, she enter and never returned. Once anyone step into the room, that's the end.

And you believe that? I asked.

My uncle looked at me with disbelief.

What are you trying to say? he asked.

Maybe the landlord uses those people for money, and the room was filled with dollars, he then came up with a story to confuse you people. Uncle wise up, I said.

Don't get close to the door, not to talk of entering... understand? he asked.
