In a cruel twist of fate, Laura finds herself abandoned and destitute after being betrayed by those closest to her. Just when she believes all hope is lost, John, a wealthy and enigmatic man, enters her life, unraveling secrets and offering a chance at a new beginning. As they confront their painful pasts and uncertain futures, Laura and John discover that sometimes, from the ashes of despair, the most unexpected love can bloom.
She opened her eyes weary and felt weak and exhausted when the sun shone on her face. She quickly closed her eyes as the sun's rays flooded into them.
She slowly opened her eyes, letting her eyes acclimate to the brightness in her new environment. Where is she ?
She straightened up to sit and tried to recall what had happened. She was shocked to see herself nude as she uncovered her quilt.
When did she take her dress off?
Deborah had helped her into a room last night, she barely remembered.
Laura was only able to recall just one thing:
Ah! She removed the cover once more and checked herself, realizing that someone had taken advantage of her and raped her.
The pain of being torn, the blood stain, and the hickey were the only indications that she had been abducted.
She cannot justify herself or tell Williams that she lost her first marriage night to someone else because she is married.
Swiftly getting to her feet, she grabbed up her dress off the floor and hurried inside the restroom. Williams entered the room at that moment with Deborah and his mother. "That's correct, she had actually been taken." Let's go, after taking pictures of her blood-stained bedspread.
"I have enough reason to divorce her and be married to the love of my life" . Williams laughed, hugged Deborah to his warm body, and planted a kiss on her.
"Calm down, my dear. We're getting married shortly, and I'll be totally yours. Someone moved my sister out of the way.
Deborah mentioned the existence of sounding.
When Laura heard what they had to say, she was astounded. Did my sister and my husband plot against me together? She questioned herself.
She waited until the sound of the footsteps had dispersed before wearing her dress and leaving the bathroom. She moved away, hurrying forward.
Laura had hardly left before James entered the space. He looked around, but there was nobody there.
James walked over to the boss and snapped pictures of the blood smear on the bed, saying, "Hello boss, the woman is gone, but I will show you the proof of her innocence."
Laura is a strong woman who has always been. She wed Williams through a planned union. They had just been married for four months, and even though they weren't in love, they decided to grow their feelings for one another before getting close.
She hadn't had an intimate relationship with him, but it doesn't make her any less of his wife. However, she finds it hard to believe Deborah would set me up for her to be with my husband.
Laura took a cab home and entered the residence.
She was met with a fierce stare as soon as she entered the sitting room. Someone could trip over their own feet at Williams' stare.
"What, you still have no shame left in you and you took those miserable feet of yours into this house" Williams's mother said."
"Even after getting married, are you still considering having sex with someone else? Are you so casual and inexpensive that you don't know who to ask for help when you need it and what your standing is?" Williams thundered
Hypocrites, Laura thought, Even though he appears upset, he is aware of everything that occurred. It was him who brought her the beverage that caused her to get hypoxia.
"This union is not going to last. I can't look away or act as though I don't see what you did. Williams gave her an irritated glance, "You are a loose woman and a slut."
"What right do you have to say horrible words at me When you were the one who drugged me? What kind of man drugges his wife in order to deceive her?
Would you have me believe that I am unaware of your escape with my sister? Instead of trying to come up with an explanation, you need to have just said it. Laura gave him a stern look.
Williams was stunned speechless for a moment. How was she aware of him and Deborah? Was there a hint they left behind?
"Without any proof, how dare you blame my son? You are such a bitch that she ought to cover her face or, much better, drive herself to death.
However, after spending the night with your significant other, you are acting conceitedly here.
Williams' mother leveled accusations against her.
"if you know what is good for you, sign the divorce papars and leave, otherwise, I will make your life miserable and a living hell" Williams said.
Laura had left him before he could continue speaking and was heading upstairs when Mrs. Stella ran to catch up with her and grabbed her by the hair.
Laura's mother-in-law dragged her around the room, hurting her scalp. Her son can't wait on someone else's leftovers, she threatened.
Laura's body twisted, already sensing pain. She ran out of strength while being pulled in this manner. Although she was unaware of the duration, she was aware that her eyes became dizzy and then blackout.
Three days later, Laura opened her eyes. On an infusion, she discovered herself. She experienced weakness. Though she was unaware of how she got to the hospital, she could recall the last event that occurred before she went out.
The hospital bed was empty of people. Her eyes brimmed as she realized how harsh life can be. Even though she knew they had no chemistry, she was compelled to enter into this marriage.
Her stepmother insisted she would be married to the Augustine family. Williams is the second master of the Augustine family.
They are one of the four richest families in the country.
Laura's stepmother insisted that she marry Williams since Williams wasn't the Augustine enterprise's successor.
In order for Deborah, her daughter, to be chosen as the young master of the Eric family's heir, she must be the only girl in the family.
However, Eric brought a married woman with him when he returned from America. His parents became enraged and took away all of his titles. Despite not being the heir, he continued to be a part of the Eric family.
She was unaware of the circumstances behind her husband's and Deborah's involvement. When a man entered, she was there, deep in meditation.
