Chapter 1 RESURRECTION

CHAPTER ONE - RESURRECTION.

The moon has shown brightly casting a luminous glow on the darkness of the thick forest. It was ghost quiet, only the sound of owls hooting and crickets chirping.

The creature stood tall, over six feet in height, with sharp razor teeth with saliva dripping off of them, long sharp claws, and his red eyes shined brightly like fire.

It ran at full speed with great momentum, taking over, into the thick forest cutting through the intertwined branches and vines of trees.

It finally came to halt when he reached its destination, where a glowing river was flowing turbulently that could take any object away within a seconds.

He jumped into the water without hesitation, and after a few moments he jumped out of the water, he was now in his Human form with water dripping from his long black hair to his toned abs.

Who will believe that the great alpha that was killed with yellow wolfsbane to weakened him before he was killed with the silver bullet, has awakened after so many years? He walked out of the water naked.

He howled to send a warning to the enemy and a message to his pack which is located in the deepest place in the Wood, the cricket is now silent, while only the owl continued making sounds to make his presence known.

After some minutes the few members ranked of the pack hid behind the trees to know if it was true the alpha is alive, but none of them believed their eyes.

"Come out!"

The alpha growled, and the six known and trusted members of the pack walked up to him, with claws deep into the soil as they bow to their alpha.

His trusted beta, mark, handed a cloth to the alpha to cover his nakedness.

When Beta Mark came closer to the alpha he felt so many powers running in the alpha's body, his aura was stronger than before he was terrified and moved backward.

His aura filled the whole wood, it was terrific.

"I'm the alpha of this pack and am back to lead you" the alpha said in a low tone that sent shivers to the rest of the Members.

"Let's go back to the mansion" the alpha announced to the wolves.

Marcus lives with his grandfather in Faxon York, grandpa Tyler was also an alpha who fell in love with humans he sacrificed everything to be with the one he loved.

Gina, his wife, died when giving birth to Tyler Jack, who was Marcus's father.

Tyler Jack finds himself in a witch lady spell. Helen was a witch woman the first moment she set her eyes on Jack he emphasised taking him for herself even though jack was not into her.

She cast a spell on him until she realised she was pregnant for the alpha, she uncast the spell away after the birth of Marcus, Jack was very angry and he turned into a Wolf completely and never returned to his family.

Grandpa Tyler makes Marcus the CEO of his company.

MARCUS TYLER FAXON

They drove into grandpa's ancient mansion, it's the tallest mansion in the city where only alpha, werewolf, and demons came together to have a meeting or welcome a new member into their midst. Marcus walks inside with a smirk face.

The house has many lifts even though humans don't dare to come closer to the building it's cast with dark magic, grandpa was smoking cigarettes, and smoke was flying in the air with Puff.

Marcus walked upstairs without glancing at Tyla, with a flash he was already in his room though he stopped to mark his beta outside.

Tyler felt a strange, chilling breeze running at full speed upstairs which made the cigarette fall from his hand.

"What the fuck, what was that," he said and move fast upstairs even if he was old without much ability, he still exhibit some power.

He walked closer to the dark room but it was close.

He connected his sensitive power to feel and hear what was going inside but it was blocked. No one can block sensitivity except the alpha, grandpa thought.

"No, my grandson is dead in the war," he whispered.

Meanwhile, inside the dark room, Stood Marcus Faxon, he stared emotionlessly at the city through the tall windows.a

Breeze swaying his hair which was just the length of his neck fitting perfectly.

"Welcome back alpha" Solomon is betrayed gamma said from the darkness.

Marcus groaned angrily with gritted teeth hearing the voice from behind.

"How dare you Solomon! Having the audacity to step into my Pack after betraying me and my pack" he said as he stood up with anger running down his veins.

Gamma solomon us rank 3rd in command among the werewolf, before the blood war he was given a mate but he felt it was not his mate rogue show him the vision and prove that she was the alpha mate.

Not knowing it was well planned by the rogue and the mate that he will be killed in the blood war. If Luna wants a fighting war with the enemy it must be done, Marcus was wounded with yellow wolfsbane...

"I wanted to kill you because your mother was a witch and you inherited from it," Solomon uttered...

"I've never inherited anything from my mother, you are bluffing" Marcus roared, and immediately his fang came out long and sharp, he Rushed towards him but his hand was stopped in the air by grandpa.

"Solomon get out of the darkroom" grandpa Tyler growled as Solomon sneered before walking out.

"I'm Surprise to see you again son!Welcome back Alpha" Tyler grinned, putting the cigarettes away from his lip.

"I want all the members now in the mansion"

He said walking downstairs meeting the rest of the wolves now in human form bowing their heads which they don't dare to raise without the alpha commands, different questions running through their minds.

He sat on the golden chair made like the king's couch, crossing his long straight leg. He can read what was going on in their minds right now.

"You may all rise" he ordered.

"You all want to know why I am alive right?" He asked, and they all started murdering which got me angry immediately.

"Stop!" He yelled and they became mute immediately.

"Dismiss!" He growled and they all left.

only the beta mack stayed with him.

"Do you know the whereabouts of Deliana?" Marcus asked his beta.

"No! After your death, he was nowhere to be found"

"Like father, like daughter!" He bellowed his fist on the large centred table in the hall.

I woke up on silk sheets that smelled of expensive cedar and cold sandalwood, a world away from my cramped apartment in Brooklyn. Beside me lay Ezra Gardner—my boss, the billionaire CEO of Gardner Holdings, and the man who could end my career with a snap of his fingers. He didn’t offer an apology for the night before; instead, he looked at me with terrifying clarity and proposed a cold, calculated business arrangement. "Marriage. It stabilizes the board and solves the PR crisis before it begins." He dressed me in archival Chanel and sent me home in his Maybach, but my life was already falling apart. My boyfriend, Irving, claimed he had passed out early, yet his location data placed him at my best friend’s apartment until three in the morning. When I tried to run, I realized Ezra was already ten steps ahead, tracking my movements and uncovering the secret I’d spent twenty years hiding: my connection to the powerful Senator Grimes. I was trapped between a CEO who treated me like a line item on a quarterly report and a boyfriend who had been using me while sleeping with my closest friend. I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, wondering why a man like Ezra would walk up forty flights of stairs on a broken leg just to make sure I was safe. "Showtime, Mrs. Gardner." Standing on the red carpet in a gown that cost more than my life, I watched my cheating ex-boyfriend’s face turn pale as Ezra claimed me in front of the world. I wasn't just an assistant anymore; I was a weapon, and it was time to burn their world down.

I was four months pregnant, weighing over two hundred pounds, and my heart was failing from experimental treatments forced on me as a child. My doctor looked at me with clinical detachment and told me I was in a death sentence: if I kept the baby, I would die, and if I tried to remove it, I would die. Desperate for a lifeline, I called my father, Francis Acosta, to tell him I was sick and pregnant. I expected a father's love, but all I got was a cold, sharp blade of a voice. "Then do it quietly," he said. "Don't embarrass Candi. Her debutante ball is coming up." He didn't just reject me; he erased me. My trust fund was frozen, and I was told I was no longer an Acosta. My fiancé, Auston, had already discarded me, calling me a "bloated whale" while he looked for a thinner, wealthier replacement. I left New York on a Greyhound bus, weeping into a bag of chips, a broken woman the world considered a mistake. I couldn't understand how my own father could tell me to die "quietly" just to save face for a party. I didn't know why I had been a lab rat for my family’s pharmaceutical ambitions, or how they could sleep at night while I was left to rot in the gray drizzle of the city. Five years later, the doors of JFK International Airport slid open. I stepped onto the marble floor in red-soled stilettos, my body lean, lethal, and carved from years of blood and sweat. I wasn't the "whale" anymore; I was a ghost coming back to haunt them. With my daughter by my side and a medical reputation that terrified the global elite, I was ready to dismantle the Acosta empire piece by piece. "Tell Francis to wash his neck," I whispered to the skyline. "I'm home."
