♦DENNISON APARTMENT♦
"Please I need money for Alice treatment" Mrs Dennison said to her husband
"Well you have a job right?" Mr Dennison asked
"Yes" Mrs Dennison said even thou she was confused of why he would be asking her that question
"Then pay for her treatment" Mr Dennison said
"It's our child we are talking about" Mrs Dennison said
"An evil child" he hissed walking out
"Am I really evil?" Alice asked her mother,tears were threaten to fall out from her big doe eyes
"No baby you're my special child" Mrs Dennison said
That's how life was in the Dennison family
"Go upstairs okay" Mrs Dennison said
"Am late for work,and please don't ask him for money,I will be getting paid this week" she said
"OK" Mrs Dennison said
Immediately she left Mrs Dennison burst into tears
"It wasn't my baby's fault it's just a coincidence" she muttered
The day she gave birth to Alice,her husband's mother died on the same day,her husband investors withdraw their shares,on his way to the hospital he had an accident,he was also disappointed that it wasn't a male child
All this made Mr Dennison to hate Alice,thinking that she was a cursed child
"I will get going mother" Alice said
"Okay dear" she said
"I will be staying with grandmother tonight" She said
"Okay,give me a call when you get there" she said

Miguel walked to the dinning room,
"Good morning" Madam Gianna greeted him
He only nod his head before seating down to eat
The only woman who worked in his house,His Nanny the one who watched him grow up
"I will be coming late today" he said
"OK" she said
"Hudson!" He called
"Sir" Hudson came in
"Have you clean the car?"he asked
"Yes sir" she said
"Let's go,we will branch the star buck coffee " He said
"OK,sir" Hudson said
"Bye" Madam Gianna said
But he gave no reply
Can he ever change to that cheerful boy I know"Madam Gianna thought
She sigh

"You're late again" Samantha said when Alice came in
"Am sorry,had some issues to solve" she said
"Okay,I covered up for you "Samantha said
"Thanks" she said
"Serve the VIP table" Samantha said to her going inside
"How do you love your coffee?" She asked the man softly
"Creamy and sugary" Miguel who was the man said
He hated the fact that star buck coffee only have female workers but he couldn't blame them
Alice just finished brewing the coffee,she was about to drop the coffee on the table when Helena one of the workers who always bullied her placed her leg on the way
Alice stumbled pouring the hot coffee on Miguel
"Am sorry!" She said
She quickly used an handkerchief to clean the shirt
Miguel slapped her hands off
"Who gave you the right to touch me,with that filthy hands?" Miguel asked angrily
"Am sorry Sir" she said
Her heart was already beating fast,she can't afford to lose this job
"What is happening here?"The owner of the coffee shop asked coming over to them
"Fire her if you still want to keep this place"he said
"Am sorry Alice you're fired" The coffee shop said
He pity the young girl but he can't lose his source of living because of her
"Sir please" she cried holding his legs
Miguel kicked her away making his way out

"I know you didn't call me here just to eat,speak out" Miguel
said to his grandfather
"I want you to get married Miguel,let me see my grandchildren before I die" His grandfather said
"I won't have this conversation with you" he said standing up
"Then don't blame me for my actions" the old man said angrily
"You have to let the last go"the old man said
"And get my heart broken into pieces again" he said
"Am getting you a girl" the old man said
"Don't ruin another person life,she would go back after seeing the other side of me" he said
"Not your choice" the old man said

"It's okay dear every disappointment is a blessing" Janet,Alice grandmother said to her stroking her hair
"Am a bad luck right?,just a little mistake get me fired" she cried harder
Where will she get the money for her treatment
"Am coming, let me go and bring your favourite food"Janet said
Alice was still crying when she heard a thud sound
She walked into the kitchen to find her grandmother on the ground unconscious
"Granny" She called
"She quickly called the emergency number
After few minutes an ambulance came and her grandmother was carried away for treatment
She followed them muttering different prayers in her mind
A stretcher was used to roll her grandmother into a ward
She was running trying to catch up when she bump into an old man who was in his early eighties
