Jacob was notoriously reckless in the circle. Everyone thought he was in it for the physical, not the emotional. Until one day, a video surfaced. In the video, Jacob, like a devout believer, held a woman's slender wrist tightly, his eyes filled with fervor and tenderness. His voice was low and husky, "Quinn, please look at me..." **** As Quinn entered, Jacob emerged from the bathroom, a loosely tied towel around his waist. Water dripped from his hair, tracing down his collarbone before disappearing into the towel, exuding a natural, lazy sensuality. Seeing Quinn, Jacob's lips curved into a slight smile, showing no embarrassment from being caught in bed by his new wife. "Why is it you?" **** Patrick handed him a glass of red wine. "Since you're married to Quinn now, you should take good care of her. She appears strong on the outside but is quite fragile inside." Jacob accepted the wine and raised an eyebrow. "You know exactly why I married her, don't you?"

Chapter 1 Caught Her Husband Cheating in Bed

As Quinn Ingram drove up to the hotel, snow began to fall from the sky.

The cluster of reporters at the entrance stood in stark contrast to the bleak weather.

Jacob Simmons' assistant spotted her and hurried over. "Quinn, what are you doing here?"

Quinn's features were captivating, though her infrequent smiles gave her a serious demeanor.

Unfazed, Quinn removed her leather gloves and glanced at the assistant.

"Where is Mr. Simmons?"

The assistant looked uneasy. "In the room."

Quinn stepped forward and knocked on the door. Shortly, a young woman in her early twenties, with tear-stained eyes, opened it.

The girl didn't recognize Quinn. Sniffling, she asked softly, "Are you the crisis manager from Mr. Simmons' side?"

Quinn nodded slightly and brushed past the girl.

As Quinn entered, Jacob emerged from the bathroom, a loosely tied towel around his waist. Water dripped from his hair, tracing down his collarbone before disappearing into the towel, exuding a natural, lazy sensuality.

Seeing Quinn, Jacob's lips curved into a slight smile, showing no embarrassment from being caught in bed by his new wife. "Why is it you?"

Quinn met Jacob's teasing gaze with calm indifference. "This matter is rather tricky. The lobby is full of gossip reporters, and no one else wants to handle it."

Their exchange was cool yet oddly harmonious.

No one, except Jacob's assistant, knew they had been married for three months.

Jacob walked to a nearby rattan chair and sat down, casually pulling on a bathrobe that hung loosely, revealing a glimpse of his collarbone.

He looked at Quinn with a lazy, half-smiling expression and lit a cigarette.

"Get someone else to handle this."

Ignoring Jacob's words, Quinn turned to the girl beside her.

Quinn recognized the girl as Piper Hayes, a newcomer under Simmons Media. Recently, she had gained fame through scandalous rumors and had even been called out on a famous movie director's wife's Facebook page.

It seemed Jacob wasn't picky about his company.

Piper felt nervous under Quinn's steady gaze, though she maintained her composure. In a sweet voice, she suggested, "With so many reporters downstairs, maybe I should just admit to being in a relationship with Mr. Simmons. Once things calm down, we can clear it up..."

Her intentions were clear: to use Jacob for her own publicity.

Before Piper could finish, Quinn's lips curled into a cold smile as she interrupted, "I contacted your agent on my way here. They should be arriving soon. You can go downstairs now."

Piper looked shocked. "Go downstairs?"

Quinn affirmed, "Yes."

With that, Quinn stepped forward, plucking the cigarette from Jacob's lips and extinguishing it.

"Mr. Simmons, please move to the room next door. Your colleagues are waiting for you."

Jacob's eyes twinkled with amusement.

"You've got it all arranged?"

Quinn's expression remained cool. "

Mr. Simmons, you have no more than five minutes. After that, hotel security will pretend to lapse, allowing those reporters upstairs."

Jacob held Quinn's gaze for a few seconds, then, under Piper's stunned watch, he smirked, stood up, and headed to the next room.

Jacob was wild, untamed, and utterly reckless.

As she watched Jacob leave, Quinn turned to Piper beside her.

"Still here?"

Piper, intimidated by Quinn's presence, swallowed hard. "There are so many reporters downstairs. If they photograph me, what will happen to my career? I'm just starting out, and I..."

Quinn's voice remained cold.

"The company arranged a lipstick ad for you. The shoot is nearby. Your agent will pick you up."

Understanding Quinn's intentions instantly, Piper realized there was no advantage for her to stay. She nodded quickly and left in a hurry.

With everything settled, Quinn was about to leave when her phone rang from her pocket.

Seeing the caller ID, she frowned slightly before answering. "Wesley."

A commanding voice echoed from the other end. "Quinn, bring Jacob to see me in half an hour."

Quinn replied, "Okay."

The caller was Jacob's grandfather, Wesley Simmons, who seemed to be aware of Jacob's antics today.

Quinn hung up and headed downstairs.

Jacob's assistant, sticking close to the wall, watched her leave and nervously wiped a thin layer of sweat from his forehead.

Quinn didn't leave immediately after going downstairs. Instead, she sat in her car and sent Jacob a message: "Wesley wants us to go back to the family estate."

As usual, Jacob didn't reply. Her message sank without a trace.

Quinn wasn't annoyed. She closed the chat with Jacob and checked today's entertainment headlines, ensuring there were no scandals about Jacob. Satisfied, she exited Facebook.

While Quinn was lost in thought, the passenger door suddenly opened, and a tall figure slid in.

Jacob had changed into a suit, though he left his jacket unbuttoned and his shirt collar slightly open, enhancing his roguish charm.

Seeing Quinn watching him, Jacob's teasing voice filled the car.

"Quinn, what are you looking at?"

His voice, magnetic and seductive, reminded Quinn of the night they got drunk. He had coaxed her similarly then.

"Quinn, just like that, good girl."

"Quinn, relax a bit, I'm about to surrender here."

Remembering that night, Quinn frowned slightly, pushing the thoughts aside. She replied calmly, "If you have no other plans, we need to go to the family estate."

Jacob leaned back, his long fingers tapping lightly on the car window. "Alright."

With that, Quinn started the car.

As they drove, Quinn's phone, placed on the center console, buzzed.

Jacob glanced at it casually, noticing a message pop up.

Sawyer: "Quinn, with Jacob out partying all the time, does he still satisfy you at home? If not, I can get you a gigolo!"

Jacob raised an eyebrow: ???

When Jacob saw the message, Quinn also glanced down at it.

Both remained unfazed. Quinn kept one hand on the wheel while using the other to flip the phone screen down.

Half an hour later, they arrived at the Simmons family estate.

After parking, Quinn and Jacob got out of the car, one after the other.

As they reached the entrance, Quinn, stepping in her high heels, heard Jacob's lazy, unrestrained laugh from beside her.

"Quinn, if you really have those needs, you can just tell me directly."
