Marriage Gone Wrong

(Bella is in the university studying Medicine and Surgery which is her dream course. She was very happy when she got the admission. She chose that profession because it was her dream to save the lives of people and not live with the guilt of not being able to save her father's life who died in a clash between politicians because of the unavailability of doctors in the hospital.During her stay in the university, she had only one love interest whose name was Alex. Alex was her dream man,he was everything she wanted in a man. He was good looking,strong and intelligent.

Bella met Alex at a friend's birthday party and since then they started talking frequently, frequent calls and text and eventually they started dating.Their relationship was going really fine and Bella was very happy because this is the first time she had decided to involved in a relationship and it was playing out really well. Everything was going smoothly and she was happy. Everyone on campus knew that Bella was with Alex because anytime any guy approaches her she makes them aware that she's with someone)

(Alarm rings and Bella puts off the alarm)

I woke up pretty late today even though I set the alarm multiple times so that one way or the other, it will surely wake me up but I was just deceiving myself because I was the one that switched off the alarm anytime it rang. Oh well there's no time for regrets now I need to prepare for my second class even though I missed the first one. (Checks her phone.) Oh no Mercy called me a lot of times (Mercy is her friend and coursemate) we were supposed to go together to class today but I woke up really late (sighs) she must have waited in our usual spot and i didn't show up. Anyways when I meet her in school today I'll apologize to her and she will forgive me because I'm her one and only love (chuckles). I need to prepare for my class right now, I even have a test today but I'm not even prepared for it "a whole future doctor " the Lord is my strength.

(She goes in to take her bath and she prepared for school. Bella arranged her books in her bag and quickly left the house because she had spent a lot of time getting ready. She finally arrived in her campus and she met Mercy at the entrance of the class)

Hiiii baby how are you, I'm so sorry I missed your call I slept off and my phone was on silent please forgive meeee. (Bella said)

(Mercy responded)

Please o who's your baby you left me waiting for you at that spot for almost an hour, I almost got to class late because of you. Anyways the only way I can forgive you is if you buy me shawarma with two sausages (Mercy rolled her eyes).

No problem my love I'll get it for you, you deserve it dear and I'm really sorry for keeping you waiting it won't happen again. Oya hug me naaa that's the only way I will believe that you've forgiven me dear (they hug each other. While they were hugging Alex came to meet the girls)

Hi Alex how are you doing, you don't need to answer that I'll just leave you two love birds to talk. It's not me both of you will oppress. Bye guysss I'll see you later.

Bye Mercy (they both said).

Babe, do we still have plans for tonight, am I still coming over to your place to spend the night.

No dear something came up, the guys are coming over and I don't think you will be comfortable with so many guys around maybe next weekend (Alex said).

But this is not the first time that the guys and I have been in the same room together and Moreover we made plans already before this came up.

You could have told them that you had plans with your girl already and they know that we are together so why did you not tell them (Bella said)

I am sorry babe they insisted and I couldn't say no

Baby please forgive me, I will make it up to you (Alex said)

I don't like the way you behave sometimes but no problem I forgive you just this time (Bella said)

That's my girl (he kissed her cheek and Bella smiled)

Okay babe, I'll be going for my class now, see you next week (Bella said)

(Bella was not happy because of this new development, she had planned a lot of things that they would do together but those things will not happen again.)

(Later that night, Bella went to Alex's house even though she was not supposed to. She had a spare key to his house and so, she went inside the house without knocking, when she was approaching Alex's room, she was hearing some funny noises)

What is this I'm hearing, I hope it's not what I'm thinking at all, I hope I'm hearing the wrong thing and my ears are deceiving me. I went into the room and lo and behold I saw my man, my supposed boyfriend laying down and a random girl was giving him the pleasure of his miserable life and not just one girl but they were having a threesome. It was really disgusting. He was so immensed in the pleasure that it took time before he realized that I was in the room. He tried to tell me that it was a misunderstanding as if I was blind and my eyes were deceiving me or that I was stupid or maybe he thinks I am a child that doesn't understand what was going on. I left his house and this boy did not even go after me or even called to beg me or ask for my forgiveness. After everything that happened between us,the memories did not mean anything to him,i was only deceiving myself and he didn't even love me. I really let myself loose for that boy. It was from this day that I decided never to compromise for anybody.

Because of this incident I kept my distance away from anything that has to do with boys but focus on myself.

(Bella cried herself to sleep. It even made her distracted and she started to slack in her studies. She made up her mind that no stupid or irresponsible man will make her slack in her academics. She decided to stay away from anything that had to do with a man and focus on building her career).
