Love In The C-suite Chapter 1 BDSM CLUB

Mackenzie McDonald had been searching for a job for what felt like an eternity. Determined and strong-willed, she had been struggling to find a position in her field, despite her impressive resume and countless interviews. The rejection letters piled up, each one a stark reminder of her dwindling savings and growing desperation.

As she walked home from yet another painful interview, the evening sun cast long shadows behind her. Mackenzie couldn't help but feel a sense of unease and pain. All her friends had all found jobs, started careers, and were moving on with their lives. Why was she stuck in neutral?

She was frustrated and heartbroken. She was the best student in her class then? Why hadn't she found a job yet?

The City Street seemed to blur together as she called, her mind consumed with worries about her future. She had always been driven and ambitious but now she felt lost and uncertain.

As she turned a corner, a flickering neon sign caught her eyes: "Eclipse BDSM Club". Mackenzie's curiosity piqued, and she felt a shiver run down her sound. She had always been fascinated by the lifestyle, but she never dared to encourage it. She was from a nice home, but her parents were strict and were against being wayward. But Tonight, something drew her in.

With a sense of trepidation, Mackenzie pushed open the door and stepped inside. The atmosphere envelopes her like a warm embrace, dim lighting, pulsating kinds of music, and the scent of leather and smoke. She felt a thrill of excitement mixed with apprehension as she took in the scene before her. She was mesmerized because she had never been here before. It was like stepping into a new life for her.

People of all ages and backgrounds were present and they mingled, some in elaborate costumes, others in casual attire. Mackenzie's eyes widened as she noticed a woman being led across the room on a leash. Her eyes shone with a mix of fear and excitement. Kenzie's heart raced as she wondered what lay ahead. Was she going to experience the woman's fear and excitement also? She couldn't help but wonder.

As she made her way to the bar, Mackenxie could be helped but felt a sense of suspicion. What was she doing here? Was she going to explore this world tonight? The bartender, a friendly woman with a kind smile, greeted her and asked what brought her to the club. Kenzie hesitated, unsure how much she could relate to the woman.

"Hey there, you seem to be here for the first time. Why are you here?" The bartender asked with a friendly smile.

"Just curious," she replies, taking a seat on one of the stools.

The bartender nodded. "Well, you've come to the right place. We're a safe space for exploration and discovery."

Still, Mackenzie doesn't feel safe here. She felt like her life was about to change for good. Kenzie sipped on a drink as she wondered what secrets lay hidden behind the club's doors. And what she could discover about herself.

The bartender smiled and said, "We have a variety of drinks to choose from. Our special tonight is the 'Eclipse' - a unique blend of flavors that are sure to tantalize your taste buds."

Mackenzie glanced at the menu, but her eyes kept drifting back to the drink in her hand. "I'm good with this one, thanks," she said, holding up her glass.

The bartender nodded and left her to herself, polishing a glass with a white cloth as she gazed out at the crowd.

Just as Mackenzie was about to take the last gulp of her drink, a man appeared beside her, his presence commanding attention. He was dressed in a tailored suit that accentuated his broad shoulders and chiseled features.

"Good evening," he said, his deep voice sending a shiver down her spine.

He had the kind of face that made one want to smile. He has a smiley face but he looks stoic. How is that possible? He has dark piercing blue eyes that sparkle like the stars in a clear night sky. His hair was a rich, dark brown that was perfectly messy as if he'd just rolled out of bed and still managed to look effortlessly stylish. His lips were full and inviting, curled into a perpetual hint of a smile that made you wonder what secrets he was keeping. And his voice? Oh, his voice was like warm honey, dripping with sweetness and promise. He was the kind of man who made you feel like you were the only person in the room like he was sharing a private joke with you that no one else was privy to.

Still, with his status, he is a man that everyone fears. What is he doing at the BDSM club? This club must be popular to have this kind of man as a guest. From his appearance, it was clear that he was a man of status, and his aura giving

Mackenzie's heart skipped a beat as she turned to face him. "Hi," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She found the man's voice enticing just like him. Even though she didn't get a chance to see his whole face. The room was dark and she couldn't take a clearer look.

The bartender returned, seemingly out of nowhere, and asked the man what he'd like to drink. "Scotch on the rocks, please," he replied, his eyes never leaving Mackenzie's face.

As the bartender poured his drink, Mackenzie reached for the napkin on the table, her hand brushing against the man's. She quickly pulled her hand back, feeling a jolt of electricity run through her body.

"Don't be afraid of me," the man said, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. "I'm not going to bite... hard."

Mackenzie's eyes widened at the suggestive tone in his voice. Who was this man, and what did he want from her? Why does he look so pleasing and attractive?

I arrived at the hotel with Julian's favorite takeout, ready to surprise my fiancé before our big merger. But the moment I swiped the keycard, the silence of the hallway felt heavy and wrong. Inside, a red-soled stiletto lay on the marble floor-the same one I'd watched my best friend Lila try on at Saks last week. Through the cracked bedroom door, I watched Julian's back arch as Lila looked me straight in the eye and smiled, wrapping her legs tighter around him to mock my heartbreak. I fled to the penthouse to hide, only to find Grafton, Julian's "crippled" brother, waiting in the dark. To my horror, the man who was supposed to be paralyzed stood up from his wheelchair, gripped my chin with cold fingers, and forced me to sign a contract that gave him control of my family's shares. He knew about my mother's secret medical bills and used them to buy my silence, effectively turning my life into a calculated game of corporate chess. The betrayal tasted like acid, and the injustice of it all burned in my throat. My fiancé was a liar, my best friend was a thief, and the man now controlling my fate was a predator who had been faking his disability for years. I couldn't understand how everyone I trusted had turned out to be a monster. I was trapped between a man who cheated on me and a man who wanted to own me, with no way out and no one to turn to. But when Julian came looking for me, Grafton didn't hide; he stood tall, looming over me with a possessive glint in his eyes. "Help me destroy Julian," I rasped, realizing that to survive the Faulkner men, I had to become the most dangerous player of them all.

I was the titan of Wall Street until an indictment and an ankle monitor turned my penthouse into a gilded cage. To save face, I was forced into a marriage with Elza, a "mute" girl from the Schmidt family whom I treated as nothing more than a silent piece of furniture while my empire crumbled. The night I was poisoned at a high-society gala, a mysterious server in an oversized uniform saved my life with terrifying, clinical precision. They disappeared into the night, leaving me with a silver cufflink and a burning obsession to find the shadow who held my life in their hands. Back home, I took my frustration out on Elza, telling her she was "exhausting to look at" and "smelled like sickness" after her charity visits. Her own family treated her like a stray dog, trying to humiliate her at the next gala by dressing her in what they claimed was a cheap knockoff while whispering to the press that she was nothing but a high-end escort. "Stay out of my way," I would growl at her, never noticing the steel in her eyes. I sat at my table, watching my rivals' stocks plummet and wondering who "The Zero"—the legendary financial ghost—really was. I never suspected that the woman I ignored was the same one solving the equations that were currently burning Manhattan to the ground. The injustice peaked when Elza stood before the city's elite, not as a victim, but as a queen. She dropped over a hundred million dollars to buy back her family’s legacy, revealing a secret fortune that made my own empire look like pocket change. As I grabbed her wrist and saw the small red mole hidden beneath her watch, the truth hit me like a physical blow. The silent wife I had despised was the savior I had been hunting, and she was finally done playing the victim. "We have a lot to talk about, wife," I whispered, realizing I had been sleeping next to the most dangerous woman in the world.

Today is October 14th, my birthday. I returned to New York after months away, dragging my suitcase through the biting wind, but the VIP pickup zone where my husband’s Maybach usually idled was empty. When I finally let myself into our Upper East Side penthouse, I didn’t find a cake or a "welcome home" banner. Instead, I found my husband, Caden, kneeling on the floor, helping our five-year-old daughter wrap a massive gift for my half-sister, Adalynn. Caden didn’t even look up when I walked in; he was too busy laughing with the girl who had already stolen my father’s legacy and was now moving in on my family. "Auntie Addie is a million times better than Mommy," my daughter Elara chirped, clutching a plush toy Caden had once forbidden me from buying for her. "Mommy is mean," she whispered loudly, while Caden just smirked, calling me a "drill sergeant" before whisking her off to Adalynn’s party without a second glance. Later that night, I saw a video Adalynn posted online where my husband and child laughed while mocking my "sensitive" nature, treating me like an inconvenient ghost in my own home. I had spent five years researching nutrition for Elara’s health and managing every detail of Caden’s empire, only to be discarded the moment I wasn't in the room. How could the man who set his safe combination to my birthday completely forget I even existed? The realization didn't break me; it turned me into ice. I didn't scream or beg for an explanation. I simply walked into the study, pulled out the divorce papers I’d drafted months ago, and took a black marker to the terms. I crossed out the alimony, the mansion, and even the custody clause—if they wanted a life without me, I would give them exactly what they asked for. I left my four-carat diamond ring on the console table and walked out into the rain with nothing but a heavily encrypted hard drive. The submissive Mrs. Holloway was gone, and "Ghost," the most lethal architect in the tech world, was finally back online to take back everything they thought I’d forgotten.

The sterile white of the operating room blurred, then sharpened, as Skye Sterling felt the cold clawing its way up her body. The heart monitor flatlined, a steady, high-pitched whine announcing her end. Her uterus had been removed, a desperate attempt to stop the bleeding, but the blood wouldn't clot. It just kept flowing, warm and sticky, pooling beneath her. Through heavy eyes, she saw a trembling nurse holding a phone on speaker. "Mr. Kensington," the nurse's voice cracked, "your wife... she's critical." A pause, then a sweet, poisonous giggle. Seraphina Miller. "Liam is in the shower," Seraphina's voice purred. "Stop calling, Skye. It's pathetic. Faking a medical emergency on our anniversary? Even for you, that's low." Then, Liam's bored voice: "If she dies, call the funeral home. I have a meeting in the morning." Click. The line went dead. A second later, so did Skye. The darkness that followed was absolute, suffocating, a black ocean crushing her lungs. She screamed into the void, a silent, agonizing wail of regret for loving a man who saw her as a nuisance, for dying without ever truly living. Until she died, she didn't understand. Why was her life so tragically wasted? Why did her husband, the man she loved, abandon her so cruelly? The injustice of it all burned hotter than the fever in her body. Then, the air rushed back in. Skye gasped, her body convulsing violently on the mattress. Her eyes flew open, wide and terrified, staring blindly into the darkness. Her trembling hand reached for her phone. May 12th. Five years ago. She was back.

I stood at my mother’s open grave in the freezing rain, my heels sinking into the mud. The space beside me was empty. My husband, Hilliard Holloway, had promised to cherish me in bad times, but apparently, burying my mother didn't fit into his busy schedule. While the priest’s voice droned on, a news alert lit up my phone. It was a livestream of the Metropolitan Charity Gala. There was Hilliard, looking impeccable in a custom tuxedo, with his ex-girlfriend Charla English draped over his arm. The headline read: "Holloway & English: A Power Couple Reunited?" When he finally returned to our penthouse at 2 AM, he didn't come alone—he brought Charla with him. He claimed she’d had a "medical emergency" at the gala and couldn't be left alone. I found a Tiffany diamond necklace on our coffee table meant for her birthday, and a smudge of her signature red lipstick on his collar. When I confronted him, he simply told me to stop being "hysterical" and "acting like a child." He had no idea I was seven months pregnant with his child. He thought so little of my grief that he didn't even bother to craft a convincing lie, laughing with his mistress in our home while I sat in the dark with a shattered heart and a secret life growing inside me. "He doesn't deserve us," I whispered to the darkness. I didn't scream or beg. I simply left a folder on his desk containing signed divorce papers and a forged medical report for a terminated pregnancy. I disappeared into the night, letting him believe he had successfully killed his own legacy through his neglect. Five years later, Hilliard walked into "The Vault," the city's most exclusive underground auction, looking for a broker to manage his estate. He didn't recognize me behind my Venetian mask, but he couldn't ignore the neon pink graffiti on his armored Maybach that read "DEADBEAT." He had no clue that the three brilliant triplets currently hacking his security system were the very children he thought had been erased years ago. This time, I wasn't just a wife in the way; I was the one holding all the cards.
