Chapter 1 Give us Monica
Monica sat beside her mother Deb and other siblings in front of their board house. Her mother was a farmer and had very little money to take care of her and her 3 order brothers and the baby on the way.
Suddenly a van drove into the yard, it was so pristine and white unlike anything they have ever seen. Monica was excited to see who this distinguished person was.
My mom dud not look pleased, it was her brother and his wife who lived in the city. What did he want now, always half drunk and unwilling to help.
Enid his wife started cursing, why do you have all these kids if you can't take care of them, look at you living in all this filth expecting a hand out.
Why do you come to my place with such attitude, please leave with your high mighty selves. We don't need your charity. Deb was livid.
We are here to make you an offer. Give us Monica we will raise her as our own send her to a good school and take some burden off you with so many other mouths to feed.
Deb being desperate agreed, her brother was rich and could definitely give Monica a better life. Eventually she would in turn would take care of her other siblings.
