Chapter 1 Family's workshop

The sound of an alarm rang through the quiet and dark room the green light which showed was the only source of light to the room.

Lyrra stretched her hand from under her covers and turned off the alarm she groaned while removing the covers from her face and rose up while sitting on the bed she checked the time on the clock and decided against falling back asleep she got up from her bed and went to the bathroom she stood in front of the bathroom mirror and stared at herself her curly black hair was a mess she stared at herself for a while her green eyes staring directly at her reflection she shook her head and decided to get ready for the day and not have a staring contest with her reflection.

After getting ready she went downstairs to make herself breakfast she settled for something simple eggs and bacon with coffee after breakfast she left for work. she is an artisan she doesn't really know if that is what she wanted to do or the fact that she comes from a family of artisans but yes she is an artisan and right now she is heading to her family's workshop that has been around for some years she believes it's a generational thing because of the generational owners of the workshop pictures that are hung on the wall of the workshop she hopes her parents doesn't pass it down to her even the idea is scary to her. she arrived at the workshop she stood In front of the building that displayed ' Edward's workshop' she sighed and stepped into the building the smell of clay, paint and newly furnished ceramics hit her and Lyyra knew her day is about to be so long

" good morning sweetheart" her mom greeted from behind the counter situated at the left hand side of the shop

" good morning mom I see you are already checking the monthly account records"

Her mom was a small petite woman with long blonde hair and green eyes she was a beautiful lady, Lyrra inherited her green eyes from her

" yes dear I need to know our profits and losses"

Lyrra hummed to that while looking around the workshop she wasn't going to lie it was one big building with an even bigger backyard no wonder they are not too close to the city their home and workshop is a bit further from the city due to the noise that the machines make. The workshop was full of workers not that much though who were working and busy with one thing or the other Lyrra continue look around the workshop until she asked

" mom where is dad " her mom replied without raising her head from the record book

" he is at the back doing some work"

" okay I will go see him" her mom just nodded her head which earned an eye roll from Lyrra because she knew once her mom pays attention to something she gives it her full attention.

she left the workshop and headed for the backyard. The backyard was big with a building located a few distance away from the workshop she went straight for the building she pushed open the door and was met with loud sounds she could see her dad and few other workers doing some work she went to a nearby chair and sat down while watching them work her dad is really talented in what he does he makes so many beautiful items and she wonders if she would ever be as good as him . The machine was turned off and her dad came to her

" good morning Dad "

" good morning Lyrra "

" so what are you making today "

" A work came in yesterday about making flower vases"

" okay but isn't it too many "

" well yeah but we have to do it anyways "

" right so what do you have for me today "

" you can go paint those items in the workshop that are already dried you are good painter and designer " Lyrra smiled at him

" sure see you later old man " her father raised an eyebrow at her

" yeah yeah I know you are not that old I know"

" we I am glad you know " she smiled and went back to the workshop for her designated work

I received a pornographic video. "Do you like this?" The man speaking in the video is my husband, Mark, whom I haven't seen for several months. He is naked, his shirt and pants scattered on the ground, thrusting forcefully on a woman whose face I can't see, her plump and round breasts bouncing vigorously. I can clearly hear the slapping sounds in the video, mixed with lustful moans and grunts. "Yes, yes, fuck me hard, baby," the woman screams ecstatically in response. "You naughty girl!" Mark stands up and flips her over, slapping her buttocks as he speaks. "Stick your ass up!" The woman giggles, turns around, sways her buttocks, and kneels on the bed. I feel like someone has poured a bucket of ice water on my head. It's bad enough that my husband is having an affair, but what's worse is that the other woman is my own sister, Bella. ************************************************************************************************************************ “I want to get a divorce, Mark,” I repeated myself in case he didn't hear me the first time—even though I knew he'd heard me clearly. He stared at me with a frown before answering coldly, "It's not up to you! I'm very busy, don't waste my time with such boring topics, or try to attract my attention!" The last thing I was going to do was argue or bicker with him. "I will have the lawyer send you the divorce agreement," was all I said, as calmly as I could muster. He didn't even say another word after that and just went through the door he'd been standing in front of, slamming it harshly behind him. My eyes lingered on the knob of the door a bit absentmindedly before I pulled the wedding ring off my finger and placed it on the table. I grabbed my suitcase, which I'd already had my things packed in and headed out of the house.
