"Oh no I'm gonna be late"

Anastasia sobbed to herself as she quickly wore her sneakers

As she hurriedly rushed out of her house, she almost collided with her best neighbor in the whole world, Ms Corazon

"Oh Ana, becareful before you break both our bones"

"I'm so sorry Aunt Corazon,I didn't mean to bump into you, I'm running late for my industrial training seminar"

Ana said

"Running late again? What happened to your alarm clock this time?"Aunt Corazon asked

"I forgot to set the alarm before I fell asleep last night" Ana wailed as she kept fidgeting while trying to lock her door

Aunt Corazon couldn't help fee lupset as she nagged "Today is such an important day for you and you forgot to set your alarm, if I complain now you'd say I nag alot. This is why I say you need to get your priorities straight Ana."

Ana couldn't help but laugh "oh Aunt, you worry too much, I'm in a hurry could you lecture me when I'm back. For now I really have to run along else I'd be dead"

Aunt Corazon sighed as she handed Ana some sandwiches and a can of coke from her grocery bag "Here have this,I'm pretty sure you havent had the luxury of taking breakfast"

"Thanks Auntie, you're the best. Wish me luck" Ana hugged Aunt Corazon before running off like a cheetah

"Goodluck dear... Ayy this girl won't be the death of me. Lord please give her someone strong enough to handle her antics so I wouldn't be scared and worried all the time about her" Aunt Corazon breathed as Ana ran off.

Ana highlighted from the bus and ran towards the university gate . She couldn't help but feel delighted that she had finally made it with about ten minutes to spare

"Yesssss, I made it" she gasped heavily as she stared at her wristwatch "I have only ten minutes to get to the hall, jeez can't a girl get a break" she cried out to no one in particular

And with that she started her Marathon again, as she ran she sighted her professors car parked at the front of the hall she was headed to, which distracted her a bit from her little journey, by the time she turned her head back to face the road, she realized asecond too late that she was about to collide with someone again

The documents she was carrying rained down like mid August rain and she found herself on the floor next to a pile of white papers

"Noooooo...This is it, all my hard work gone,I am done for" she cried out as she sat on the floor staring at her papers, organizing themall over again would take forever and time wasn't on her side.

Her professor had literally warned and threatened that late coming was not going to be tolerated and the most painful part was she was the first person that was going to present her work as she was known as a perpetual late comer by everyone

Ana had spent all night working on her research hence the reason she woke up late as she was unable to get a decent sleep

The students who walked past her couldn't help but snicker and make side comments about her ditzy and clumsy nature

"At least help me instead of mocking me" Ana whispered as she could clearly hear what they were saying

She quickly got on her knees, picking up the papers trying her hardest to organize them, but her confidence and concentration was slowly diminishing as she knew she was bound to be late.

Her eyes stung with hot tears as she thought of the worst that could happen.

The industrial training was a test run job seeking opportunity that students embarked on before they graduated from the university,

if they were lucky they were sometimes retained by the company as a permanent staff and she was about to miss it just because of her clumsy nature

As she was deep in her thoughts while sorting out the papers, someone snatched them from her hands

"Huh!! What's going.. what are you......"

The rest of her words immediately stuck to the back of her mouth as she raised her head to see a breathtakingly handsome man squatting right Infront of her. Her jaw dropped instantly

Her mouth opened and closed several times but she couldn't form a single sentence orword to say to him.

Looking at him as he knelt down picking up the papers from the ground she realized that he was the person she had bumped into and she could have sworn that her heart missed a couple of beats

'wow oh my god oh my god he is so handsome, I thought such handsome men only existed in movies and in my dreams' Ana wondered dreamily to herself as she continued staring at the handsome stranger

Time seemed to stop, there seemed to be a sudden gush of wind and oh she could hear songs playing in the back of her head. Ana could only see the both of them, it was as if every other person had vanished into thin air

'is this Love?' Ana asked herself

She stared at the man as he continued picking up the papers from the ground with a cold expressionon his face. He was incredibly fast that she couldn't help but marvel at how amazing he was

The handsome man simply glanced at the papers in his hand and started shifting and shuffling them in ascending order and in just a matter of seconds he had eloquently arranged her papers for her.

The man stood up and calmly handed her the newly arranged papers back, as she stared up at him and collected her paperwork, her eyes almost flew out of her eye sockets. All eighty six pages of her paperwork was orderly stacked correctly.

"Oh my goodness this this is amazing, how did you do this how is it even possible" Ana cried out in utter delight

The man just stared at her without saying a word

Ana was so happy that she quickly stood up and straightened her gown, dusted her hands and happily grabbed the handsome man's hand

"Thank you kind Sir, Thank you so much you have saved my poor helpless life"

The man stared at her for some seconds and then at there entwined hands with an expressionless face

Making Ana believe he was mute and she thought to herself 'oh Lord why are you so cruel? How could you spend so much time making his face look like one of your angels but forget to give him a voice'

Ana offered him a warm smile "oh handsome Kind Sir, I understand. Even if you aren't able to speak I'm glad that God compensated you with a nice heart and a really handsome face"

The man continued staring at her with an unreadable face, as though he was unfazed by what she had just said to him

"Thank you once again handsome kind Sir, I'm sorry I can't repay you for your kindness right now, I am running late for class but I hope we meet again so I can" Ana said to him before hurrying off like flash.

Making the Mafia Boss who hardly broke out of his unfazed armor , turn around to watch her as she ran to her destination, Smile.
