My Manipulative Tycoon's Relentless Desires Chapter 1 Sent To Another Man's Bed

In a hotel room, Irene Dixon perched on the edge of the bed, her head spinning. She clenched her teeth, struggling to maintain consciousness.

Her life had spiraled into chaos when her father was jailed on murder charges, and the shock had triggered her mother's illness, landing her in the ICU.

Amid this turmoil, her father's former allies were twisting the knife. Disregarding her father's significant help in the past, they spread malicious rumors and absconded with the company funds, all for their own gains. Consequently, many business partners were withdrawing, demanding both contract cancellations and damages from the Dixon Group.

Overnight, the Dixon Group was saddled with a debt of 380 million dollars, teetering on the edge of collapse.

Determined not to let her parents' life's work disintegrate, Irene felt compelled to take on the overwhelming challenge. The Dixon Group's salvation seemed to hinge on securing a lucrative deal with the Swan Mountain tourism resort hotel project. However, the project's manager was avoiding her, and without securing the project's initial deposit within three days, the Dixon Group faced bankruptcy.

In her desperation, Irene sought help from her estranged husband, Cade Hudson.

The Hudson Group was a powerhouse in Eimwell, with the Hudson family holding prominence for over a century.

Years ago, Irene's mother had saved Cade's life, prompting Damien Hudson, Cade's grandfather, to orchestrate a marriage between Cade and Irene once they were of age.

Their marriage, however, existed only on paper. They had never held a wedding ceremony nor consummated the union. Cade had departed for business shortly after their marriage and hadn't returned for two years.

Now, desperate for an introduction to the elusive project manager, Irene reached out to Cade, who shockingly proposed that they first consummate their marriage.

Accepting a glass of wine Cade had sent over, Irene took the room key he provided and headed to the designated room, her body strangely warming. She hadn't been intimate with men before and couldn't suppress her nerves.

As Irene waded through a fog of drowsiness, a man approached her. He arched an eyebrow and murmured, "You're quite beautiful, and you have a lovely figure."

Instinctively, Irene leaned into the man's touch, clutching his hand and whispering, "Cade..."

The man's face hardened immediately, and he scoffed. "You're calling another man's name in my bed? Is that appropriate to you?"

Confused, Irene looked up at the man, her thoughts increasingly clouded. Yet, when she saw him moving to leave, she impulsively reached out and clung to him from behind, pleading, "Don't go!"

The man paused, turning to face the drunk Irene. Her delicate features and half-lidded eyes, highlighted by a faint blush at their corners and an unintentionally alluring look, stirred a sense of familiarity in him. He gazed at the strange woman before him, who had somehow found her way into his room, and a fleeting memory crossed his mind, but before he could focus on it, he felt her grip tightening around his waist.

The man chuckled and said, "Alright. Just don't regret this later." With that, he embraced her, gently pinched her chin, and their lips met as they fell onto the soft bed.

As he thrust into her aggressively, the sharp, woody aroma of his cologne filled the air, and her grip on his robe tightened as she let out a soft moan.

The sound she made served as a catalyst, drawing out a stronger reaction from him.

He released her, gazing down at her now tousled appearance, then removed his robe and tossed it aside.

Slowly, he pushed his shaft deeper inside her for a few more inches.

A pained groan escaped Irene as tears began to gather in her eyes.

As the man propped himself up by resting his muscular arms near Irene's face, she caught his hands, her voice breaking as she implored, "Please... Be gentle..."

"Okay," he whispered, lightly kissing her lips before lifting her legs across his arms.

Their shadows entwined endlessly in the dimly lit room.

Irene chewed on the blanket's edge, her tears saturating the pillow beneath her. Overwhelmed by a confusing fusion of pain and novel pleasure, panic surged within her.

Lifted abruptly, Irene clung to the man, her cries echoing in the room.

As time seemed to stretch indefinitely, he eventually released her, panting heavily. When he turned her to face him, he discovered she had fainted. He tutted, carefully wiped away a tear from her eyelashes, and tasted its salty bitterness. "Did it hurt that much?"

Her tears dampened his earlier enthusiasm and passion. The man stood up and walked to the bathroom.

The sound of water cascading in the bathroom filled the otherwise quiet room as Irene laboriously pried her eyelids open. She was anxiously awaiting a definitive response from Cade.

Fighting through her discomfort, Irene rose from the bed, her feet touching the chilly floor, and leaned on the table for support as she moved toward the bathroom door. Just then, her phone began to ring. The screen showed Cade's name.

Confusion washed over Irene. Cade was supposed to be in the shower. Why would he be calling her now? Uneasy, she answered the call. "Cade, I've complied with your request. When are you going to hold up your end?"

Cade's voice, full of mockery, came through the speaker. "When did I ever say I'd help you? I only told you to meet me at the hotel, and I'd consider it."

Irene's grip on the phone tightened. "And? Have you decided?"

"My decision is no," Cade responded crisply.

"You're going back on your promise?" Irene's face grew stern.

"You sound upset. But remember, you're my wife. Isn't it my right to have sex with you?" Cade's laugh had a biting edge. "Oh, and I forgot to mention something. The man with you last night wasn't me."

Irene's breathing grew rapid, her voice shaky. "What do you mean? This shouldn't be joked about, Cade."

Still laughing, Cade retorted, "I'm quite serious. It wasn't me with you last night."

Irene's phone slipped from her trembling hand. She stooped to pick it up, but before she could, a shadow fell over her.

Irene looked up to see the man who had stepped out of the bathroom. He was shirtless, scratches visible on his chest.

It was blatantly obvious now. Cade had tricked her. He had feigned a desire to be intimate with her, but in reality, he had sent her to another man's bed.

I went to the City Clerk’s office for a routine copy of my marriage license to finalize a trust fund audit. I expected a simple piece of paper, but the clerk’s pitying look told me my entire life was a lie. "The license was never finalized, Ms. Oliver. In the eyes of the state, you are single." The three-hundred-guest wedding at the Plaza and the Vogue features meant nothing. My husband, Gray Cooley, had intentionally filed the documents with a "procedural defect" so he could discard me without a legal divorce. Moments later, an iCloud invite titled "Our Little Secret" popped up on my screen. It was a photo of my best friend, Brylee, holding a positive pregnancy test at our Hamptons estate. Gray’s text to her was the final blow: "Happy anniversary, babe. This baby is the best gift. Once the trust unlocks today, we’re done with the charade." I soon discovered they were even stealing my career, reassigning my architectural masterpiece to Brylee while preparing my eviction notice. Gray's mother called me a "barren mule" in a leaked recording, mocking the infertility I suffered after saving Gray’s life in a construction accident. I wasn't a wife; I was a three-year placeholder used to secure his inheritance. How could the man I bled for treat me like a disposable prop? How could my best friend carry his child while pretending to comfort me through my darkest moments? The betrayal burned until it turned into a cold, hard stone of fury. I didn't cry. Instead, I walked into the penthouse of the Barretts, the Cooleys' most powerful rivals. I signed a marriage contract with Kane Barrett, the man the tabloids called the "Beast of Wall Street." "I want a wedding," I told his father, my voice steady and lethal. "Bigger than the one I had with Gray." If they wanted me gone, they would have to watch me become the woman who owns their world.

I was once the heiress to the Solomon empire, but after it crumbled, I became the "charity case" ward of the wealthy Hyde family. For years, I lived in their shadows, clinging to the promise that Anson Hyde would always be my protector. That promise shattered when Anson walked into the ballroom with Claudine Chapman on his arm. Claudine was the girl who had spent years making my life a living hell, and now Anson was announcing their engagement to the world. The humiliation was instant. Guests sneered at my cheap dress, and a waiter intentionally sloshed champagne over me, knowing I was a nobody. Anson didn't even look my way; he was too busy whispering possessively to his new fiancée. I was a ghost in my own home, watching my protector celebrate with my tormentor. The betrayal burned. I realized I wasn't a ward; I was a pawn Anson had kept on a shelf until he found a better trade. I had no money, no allies, and a legal trust fund that Anson controlled with a flick of his wrist. Fleeing to the library, I stumbled into Dallas Koch-a titan of industry and my best friend's father. He was a wall of cold, absolute power that even the Hydes feared. "Marry me," I blurted out, desperate to find a shield Anson couldn't climb. Dallas didn't laugh. He pulled out a marriage agreement and a heavy fountain pen. "Sign," he commanded, his voice a low rumble. "But if you walk out that door with me, you never go back." I signed my name, trading my life for the only man dangerous enough to keep me safe.

My cousin Hailey paid a dock worker to assault me just to ruin my engagement. To survive the military-grade aphrodisiac she poisoned me with, I stumbled into a walk-in freezer and threw myself onto the only source of cold I could find-a man paralyzed by unnatural hypothermia. It was a desperate, primal exchange of my heat for his ice just to keep my heart from stopping. But when Hailey threw open the heavy iron door, leading my fiancé and the entire Bolton family to witness my "shame," her triumphant grin instantly vanished. She hadn't caught me with a low-life thug. She had caught me straddling Demetrius Maddox, the ruthless Iron King of Chicago. The air in the room dropped to absolute zero. My grandmother screamed in horror, and my father turned the color of ash. Hailey, blinded by jealousy, tried to double down. She pointed a manicured finger at the deadliest man in the city and called him a "nameless muscle" I picked up to defile the family name. She didn't realize she had just signed her own death warrant. I didn't cower. I realized this was the only chance to survive the family that wanted me dead. I walked up to the Devil himself, my body still humming with the poison, and looked him in the eye. "Kill me, and the cold inside you wins," I whispered, knowing he was dying from the inverse of my own poison. "I am the only doctor who knows how to cure you." Demetrius tightened his hand around my throat, his dark eyes assessing my worth. "Prove it," he growled. I turned back to my trembling cousin and signaled the enforcer to hand me the whip.

One Night With The Wrong Brother

One Night With The Wrong Brother

I thought I was waking up in the arms of Arthur, the man I loved. But as the morning light hit the Hamptons estate, the man buttoning his cuffs by the window turned around with eyes like chips of ice. It was Augustus Riddle, Arthur’s cruel younger brother, and I had just spent the night whispering confessions of love into the wrong man's ear. The night I thought was a beautiful beginning turned into a devastating nightmare. Instead of comfort, Gus treated me like a stain on his expensive carpet, scribbling a check for "services rendered" before shoving me into a dark service corridor to hide my existence from his brother. "How much does it cost to buy your silence?" He sneered, before leaving me barefoot in a torrential downpour while he drove away in a luxury Cadillac. Four years later, I am a struggling actress in Los Angeles, working double shifts as a barista just to keep the lights on. My life was finally stable until my roommate dragged me to a high-end dinner to meet her new "influential" boyfriend. The man sitting at the table, looking more arrogant and lethal than ever, was Augustus. He spent the entire night humiliating me, calling me a pathetic amateur and a social climber in front of my only friends. When I fled into the rain and collapsed on the sidewalk, skinning my knee until I bled, he watched from his car. He saw me clutching a plastic baggie containing the taped-together pieces of that four-year-old check—the only proof of my shame. He looked at me like roadkill, rolled up his window, and drove off into the dark. I couldn't understand why he was doing this. Why did he hate me enough to crush me, yet remember that I couldn't handle the smell of cigarette smoke? Why did he leave me bleeding in the street, only to send expensive medical supplies and coffee to my door the very next morning? "I'm moving out." I told my roommates, realizing that Gus Riddle didn't just want to destroy me; he wanted to haunt me. I grabbed my suitcase and walked out with eighty dollars to my name, finally ready to disappear into the city before he could burn the rest of my life to the ground.
