"His deep blue eye had a magnetic pull. The man before her could have been mistaken for a model." 23-year-old Ayla Morrison unexpectedly falls in love with her new boss, Lucas- a brutal, emotionless, controlling, and alarmingly attractive businessman. But what happens when she suddenly regains a memory she never knew she had? Catapulted into a past that threatens her life and may shatter her heart, Ayla is torn between making tough decisions when she discovers Her Lover Is The Devil's Son!
"It used to be a hug with two persons on their feet. Now, one person can't stand, and the other is in pain," Mrs. Morrison whispered with tears in her eyes as they began to roll down her cheeks. Sobbing.
She moved closer to them, making a room of three people outing hugs together.
Suddenly Ayla began to sob along
"Mom, I don't want to lose him. I don't want us to lose him either," she murmured.
She was trying her best to be strong for Mrs. Morrison, but everything was probably abortive.
She held onto Mrs. Morrison and looked into her eyes. "your happiness is important to me, but at the same time, I am trying to make us all feel safe."
"Hmmm," she sighed, managing to rest beside the blue-painted hospital bed.
Mrs. Morrison felt that she needed to convince her more.
She stood from where she was and moved closer to her.
"When he is back to his feet, he will build another empire; if he doesn't make it up, how will he be able to build one," she said, looking too pale and tired.
Kayla looked at her eyes and whipped her face with her left hand, holding her father's leg, and smiled.
"But I was thinking we could get a loan, won't that be better?" she looked at her mother, knowing that what she said wasn't the right words.
Mrs. Morrison looked back at her and pointed to the calendar hanging on the hospital wall as she tapped it thrice.
"It will take two months for that process to be accomplished, but now, when we have an opportunity on a plate of gold, let's make use of it." All she wanted was a response from her.
Mr. Morrison wanted to be in the conversation with all
This means that he was about to remove the oxygen that was placed for him to breathe.
He began to hit the bed and moving his arms.
Ayla looked in his direction, her eyes wide open. "don't do that. Your life is precious to me."
As if Mr. Morrison was waiting for her to say that, he got a chance to remove the oxygen bag and said, "Then do the needful."
He got the oxygen bag back to his nostrils this time; his breathing was so loud from the pressure control machine.
The sound of the machine has already changed into a faster one. "Beep, beep, beep"
"What do you think, Ayla? We have no time on our sides," Mrs. Morrison kept on saying.
Mr. Morrison looked at Agla as tears dropped down his cheek.
"I feel so bad. It looks so much like I am the one causing you the pain; I am only trying to protect the legacy you have built," she said, folding her arms and looking up to the ceiling.
That wouldn't change anything from the situation.
"The doctor came here a few moments ago and said the situation is gradually getting worse," Mrs. Morrison said as she sobbed so hard.
Using the handkerchief in her hand to wipe her tears.
She stooped up and held to the direction of the door.
"Mom, where are you heading to?" Ayla asked, looking all confused.
Mrs. Morrison looked back at her holding her shirt. "The doctor asked her to see him in 20 minutes, which is already time. I will be back."
"Okay, I will be here with Dad; please don't be late and make sure you man up." She looked at her mother and took her eyes away, but the eyes she took away met with those of her father.
"Dad, I will do it," she whispered to her father.
Unbelievable, Mr. Morrison smiled back at Ayla.
Kayla moved closer to her father and gave him a big hug.
A knock on the door.
"Hey, Jayson, I checked you out through the mail, but I guess you were busy with designs." Ayla made it a way to call Jayson's attention.
But she didn't know she was all wrong as Jayson entered, and all his eyes were fixed on Mr. Morrison.
"No, no, this is not good enough," Jayson said as he looked at Mr. Morrison.
As they were about to talk, Mrs. Morrison came in.
"Mommy, let's do these things so fast; look at how pale he is looking," Jayson echoed.
Mrs. Morrison looked at him. "Jayson, calm down. I am just coming from the doctor's office. "He asked me to come get a report of his health.
Alya looked straight at Jayson.
"I know his life depends on it, and this family depends so much on him; I agree to sign," Alya confessed as she looked at the faces of everyone.
Mrs. Morrison could not say a word as tears dropped down her eyes. "Finally, he will be back to me."
Jayson moved closer to her and rubbed her back, "We will be thin back, and you will be fine too."
Jayson showed his sharp chin as he went straight to his father and hugged him. "Papa, you will be fine. I made a design for you. I dent wait for you to get well and hold it."
Mr. Morrisom smiled so hard as he later squeezed his face.
Mrs. Morrison noticed that as she gave a sigh.
The emergency room suddenly became so silent.
"Mom, what's wrong? I just said I would be signing The papers. Is there anything else I need to know?" Ayla said as she stood from where she was sitting, removed her glasses, and moved in her mother's direction.
Mrs. Morrison adjusted on her seat comfortably. "I miss him and can't wait to see him back on his feet."
It was time for Mr. Morrison to take his dose of injection.
The nurse ordered that the family excuse for the medications.
