It was a cool evening in California, the breeze was intense, murmuring through the city, and cool countryside music was playing in the background, it was one of the very busy days for Blue, working as an event planner, and she had to put everything in order before the party starts, making sure that seats are reserved for every VIP guests, she's such a perfectionist, but of course, it's the met gala opening of a metropolitan museum of Art in the city of California so she has to give her best.

Blue has always dreamt of being a CEO and managing her enterprise, but as life would have it, it did not play out the way she had dreamt. She was raised by her grandmother in a little town in Atlanta, her mum was a drug addict and had gone to rehab a lot of times, but each time she came out with the assurance that she was clean, it would only take a few weeks before she gets back into it, this was a normal routine at their home, Blue grew up watching her mother getting high on pills and acting out of character, Blue and her siblings always cries themselves to bed, they were each other's comfort zone as they never had the motherly love every child deserves.

When Blue turned 18, she knew that at that point, her future depends on her. She had decided to move out of Atlanta by all means, she started working at a local bakery down her street, saving all her salary so that she could have enough to get an apartment out of town.

At twenty, she had moved out of Atlanta with the help of her Aunt, Emma. She stayed with Aunty Emma in California where she began college and also got a better job.

Blue stared at the hall with so much satisfaction, "I did this, I'm so proud. Thanks to you all for always supporting me, you're the best team ever" she said to her teammates hugging them.

Just then, the red carpet unfurled and guests began troping into the hall, the sound of laughter and pleasantries filled the air, the media personalities flashing lights and taking shots of the famous. Inside the hall, popular billionaires, business owners and investors exchange pleasantries, united by their passion for innovation, Champagne, cocktails and wines made their way around the hall served in golden plated trays by waiters in maroon robes. The night is alive with love and inspiration as great icons gather to celebrate the museum's opening.

Jack stepped out of his sleek black Rolls Royce and onto the already heated red carpet, he arrived a bit late for the event, he adjusted his cufflinks and flashed a hearty smile at the admiring glances and photographers. As a billionaire playboy, Jack was no stranger to the spotlight. His piercing brown eyes and his chiseled physique made him a magnet for attention. He was glorified by the admiration, but tonight he sought something more.

Just as Jack was about to leave the red carpet, his gaze landed on Blue, she was chatting with a group of friends, her bright smile illuminating the entire space. Jack's gaze lingered, captivated by her vibrant aura and striking features. Her long curly brown hair lay down her back like a waterfall, her curvy booty and exposed cleavage, and her shiny skin sparkled with warmth.

"fuck! She's so hot" Jack said to himself making his way to the seat reserved for him.

The ceremony came to an end, "what a night" Blue sighed. People trying to make their way through the crowd, and Jack still could not resist his gaze, he adjusted his suit and made his way into the crowd, he followed her, his eyes locked on her swaying hips, the background music enveloped him, a sultry rhythm that seemed to match the beating of his heart. "Excuse me miss" he muttered, Blue turned immediately, she stared at him with a soft passionate look, admiring his gesture and physique, "Hi..hello" she stuttered. Jack was lost in thought and short of words to say, he knew what he felt in his heart, but he could not find the right words to put it in, "uh..beautiful necklace" he went.. that's not what he wants to say, "what's wrong with me" he thought in his mind... "oh thank you, you smell good." Blue said smiling.

They both sat back in the hall and got talking. Hours blurred together, their connection growing firmer with each passing moment. They talked, made jokes, Laughed and whispered secrets in each other's ears. Jack felt alive, free from the burdens of his empire and family expectations.

As the night wore on, their conversation flowed effortlessly, touching on dreams, fears and desires. Jack usually guarded, found himself opening up to Blue in ways he never thought possible. She listened with empathy, her eyes sparkling with genuine interest.

The atmosphere was charged with tension, their attraction palpable. Jack knew he wanted her, but he also felt a deeper connection, one that went beyond physical desire.

As the first light of dawn crept in, Jack and Blue found themselves at the entrance of his hotel. They exchanged a glance, but still moved in silence. The question hanging in the air.

"Wanna come up, yeah?" Jack asked, his voice low and husky.

she gave a shy smile and shrugged her shoulder. Blues smile was all the answer he needed.

They both stepped into the elevator, their eyes locking on each other, the silence was thick with anticipation on who would speak first, their hearts pounding in unison. Blue was confused, "why am I suddenly feeling this way towards a total stranger ?" she said to herself.

The elevator stopped on the top floor, Jack led Blue to his penthouse suite. The city skyline displayed before them, a breathtaking view that seemed to capture the vastness of their emotions.

Without a word, Jack moved closer to Blue, he looked deeply at her, pulling her hair back, and caressing her face for a moment. "You're beautiful" Blue did not say a word "Can I?" Jack asked, but Blue still said nothing, her eyes were fixed on his with tension in her. Their lips met in a soft exploratory kiss, the world around them melted away leaving only the trim of their hearts and the promise of a love that will haunt them for years to come.

They both chuckled and broke apart, looking away. Blue walked into the bathroom and Jack took a glance at himself through the mirror, searching for answers. What was this connection they shared? Why did he feel like he'd known her for years?

Blue came out smiling, but her eyes with a hint of mischief. "Maybe we'll figure it out together" she said leaning against the wall.

Jack smiled moving close to her, pulling her by her waist, sending a spark of electricity through both of them.... They kissed, but this time deeper and with more passion like they'd been longing for each other, Jack in his masculinity lifted Blue by her ass, and took her to the bed.

Suddenly Jack's phone buzzed shattering the connection. He hesitated and then left the bed to answer the call.

"California," he said curtly

Blue watched as Jack's countenance changed from relaxed to tense. He listened intently, his jaws clenched.

"I'll handle it," he said, before ending the call.

"Is everything okay?" Blue asked with concern etched on her face.

Jack's mask slipped back into place, and he forced a smile. "Yeah, it's just business, let's forget about that for now".

But Blue sensed the unease lingering beneath the surface. She knew there was a complication and wondered what secrets he was keeping.
